Spoiler (click to show/hide):
Rufus says, "It's likely too much to ask you to read a tourist brochure on some of the more common laws of the country, so I'll just say, be wary. And I advise keeping it under the lid that you're a meta human for the time being. Starting fires in public with nothing but your hands and mind might cause public concern over our being here."
It seems none of them must smoke as they all sort of shift uncomfortable as the small room is filled with cigarette smoke, regardless of your attempt to re-direct it.
"Yes," Kimiko adds, "This building isn't technically ours. We're merely operating out of it for the time being, until our main facility is finished. We'll be giving you all transport to the apartment building we've rented, however."
They all stand up and shake your hand. Rufus opens the door and allows everyone to exit the room and return to the waiting room. You catch up to Kimiko and she says, "I'm sorry... I must prepare for the MHD meeting. You can find me afterwards if you want to talk."
For the briefest instant, you feel her eyes travel over your body and focus on your captivating eyes, but you also sense restraint and the desire to keep distance for one reason or another.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):
Lillian says, as she blinks a few times and waits a second for the ringing to go away, "it's um... It's fine, Georgia. We're pleased to have you."
When you mention experiments, Kimiko says, "Don't worry, we won't allow anyone to experiment on you involuntarily. We'll talk about that a little more at the meeting after the interview."
"As to how much money you're making, we'll go over that at the meeting."
The three of them stand up and shake your hand again. When you shake Lillian's, she goes for your mutated arm and she runs her hand delicately over the textures again, observing it with interest, but not with repulsion. Unexpectedly, she kisses your hand and says, "It must've been uncomfortable to say the least, but I think you're beautiful, Georgia."
Rufus laughs, "My, Lillian, be careful. You're proving you have a heart after all."
She blushes and says, "It's been good to meet you."
Rufus holds the door for each woman, including yourself, and you find yourself back in the waiting room until this MHD 'meeting' takes place.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):
"Yes, I've been to Ireland a number of times," Rufus says, "But I much prefer London or York. Then again, I grew up during the IRA's most violent period. Not a pleasant place to be as an Englishman at the time."
Just as you're thinking about your headphones, Kimiko pulls out exactly that. From under the desk, she hands you your headphones and MP3 player. No rifle, however, but that was likely more of a safety concern.
"I only ask, you don't listen to it during the meeting. We'd like you to pay attention, after all," she says.
With that, the three of you exit the room, Rufus leaving last as he holds the door open for all of you. You find yourself out in the waiting room once more with 9 other people. Hopefully it wouldn't be too long, then you could get on to see the apartment place.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):
The three of you stand in the doorway of the interview room, Rufus in the center, Lillian on the right and Kimiko on the left. His pants were still obviously bulging and he certainly does watch your rear as you saunter from the roof. When you mention you really have nothing to help him, the British man shrugs, "Hopefully, I just need a few minutes in the latrine to um... take care of this."
Lillian closes her folder. The American sighs and pokes him in the shoulder, "That's what you get, dummy. Thank you for your time, Jack."
When you recommend medication and the time it might take to wear off, the two women laugh, maybe a little too hard. If they'd inhaled the same pollens, it was more than likely you would've inspired the first MHD orgy, but they don't seem like they have any intention of helping him 'relieve' the lust. You probably feel a little sympathy for the good-looking middle-aged man, who would likely have little trouble finding a woman in a bar to help him, if they weren't working at the moment.
"A few hours? That's longer than most men usually last," Lillian points out.
Kimiko seems to have opened her folder at some point and began writing once more about the condition and its effects. She seemed like the most pragmatic and studious type of the three.
The three of them call out the name of the next meta human to be interviewed and they give you a look of curiosity as you play your music and begin to dance. You certainly receive the eyes of more than one person in here, at least everyone giving you a sidelong glance, but nobody tries to stop you, not even the military types who seem to just be administering the building. Hopefully, it wouldn't be too long until the meeting was called.

Jade
Spoiler (click to show/hide):
All three chuckle when they notice it took you a second to notice his meaning. He says, "Don't worry about it love, been meaning to get a new suit anyway."
Rather than hide his underwear as you are, he cocks one leg slightly and gives you a full view, "Like what you see?"
"Rufus!" Lillian says in a disapproving tone and suddenly, he's yanked from his feet, back into his chair. Somehow, his jacket is pulled off of his back and over his lap, as if done by an invisible force. You surmise that must be Lillian's power. Regardless, you did get a good look at his bulging package. He must have something quite big to be proud of.
"Haha... Sorry, Lil'."
"Kimiko, please go get our friend Jade some more clothes. And Rufus too... I guess."
She nods and stands up, closing her folder, and quickly leaving the room. Their attention returns to you as you note your pleasant approval and surprise at the living situation for working for MHD.
"Yes, avoiding your fellow members IS a step up from fighting them, but... I'd advise finding a way to make things work, since you will have to work together," Lillian says.
Rufus stretches out his arms and shoulders a little bit, giving you a view of the cut you left him. It was slightly bleeding, but not profusely, and he doesn't seem bothered by it.
"We'll talk about the financial aspect at the meeting shortly after this interview," he says.
Kimiko returns, surprisingly fast, with a change of clothes for you and Rufus. For now, it seems you're being given just a simple black t-shirt and jeans. Rufus likely had a suit on the premise as she provides him with just that and it seems to fit him. Rather than wait to change, he removes all of his clothes right there, giving you a clear view of his muscular body from head to toe. His pecs pop up and down as he shakes off his shirt and puts on the other one. Eventually, Lillian gets your attention once you finish changing. She opens the door to the room and motions for you to come.
"We thank you for coming, Jade. Wait out here and we'll come get everyone once we're set for the meeting."
If you have any other questions or concerns or things to say, they'll respond to you cordially before inviting in their next interviewee.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):
Lillian laughs, "Unfortunately, we're going to try the trust, good will method first, but I'll keep that in mind."
You fling the folder back to Rufus, who closes it and puts it on the table infront of him. They don't really seem annoyed or anything like that from your demands of destroying them. It's possible they really had little use for it, except for recruiting you, which they've already done anyway.
"If you wish, we will. Just so we're clear, the FBI does intend to keep their promise. You're much more use to the world defending it than you are in a cell," Lillian says.
Rufus adds, "We'll fill you in our department's mode of operation, what we intend to do, and everything else at the MHD meeting following this interview."
Kimiko closes her folder, grabs Lillian's and Rufus', and places them in a pile on the table. The Japanese woman says, "We plan to start small. Investigate known, proven, sightings across Japan. We need the team to get some experience against the enemy before we consider higher priority targets. A lot of you barely understand how to use your power. We need to train you, and we need your powers to evolve into something... more."
The three of them stand and each shake your hand once more. Rufus opens the door for each woman to exit into the waiting room. You're free to take a seat and wait for the MHD meeting as they interview the remaining members. There seems to be only 9 others in the room, so they likely planned to start small as well.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):
The time passes somewhat slowly. The only thing of interest is the man dancing with a pumpkin head on. You watch the other MHD members, your teammates, go in and out from the interviewer room. You hear a lot of strange noises coming from there and even a loud bang that gets everyone's attention. It was more than likely that the others were showing off their powers as well. Eventually, the time comes to head to the meeting as the last meta human leaves the room.

Eloo
Spoiler (click to show/hide):
Rufus laughs, "Of course we'll house you, Eloo. We've rented out an apartment building on the beach. It's quite nice. I inspected it myself. You'll get a place to stay, food, clothing, all the necessities, plus a stipend every month for helping protect mankind."
Lillian seems to have finally calmed down her arousal, as she shifts her clothing back into place despite the large wet spot between her legs, and says, "Yes. If you like, I can show you around once you get there, and help you pick an apartment..."
Or has she?
Kimiko says, as she straightens her suit, "We appreciate you showing us your power. We'll cover all the details of the MHD at the meeting. We plan to have it after we interview each member. If you have no other questions for us, Eloo, we ask you to wait patiently in the waiting room."
Rufus stands up and opens the door, waiting for each woman to step out. Rather than call on another person, it seems it was time for the meeting. The people in this room seemed to be your other team members and there were 9 of them, 10 including you.

(I hate you so much.)
The three people watch you as you get up and saunter out of the room, leaving your parting pop-culture comments.
Rufus shrugs, "Perhaps you're right. We don't control the governments, however. We can't dictate how they 'acquire' members, but we certainly don't have the authority to force you to stay. We're more like your community-service halfway house."
The British man stands up and opens the door for you to leave, seeming to have some kind of chivalry. The other two women follow you out, with Rufus last, as they call on the next member. It likely wouldn't be long until it was time to come together.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):
As you agree to show off your powers, Rufus looks at the other two expectantly. They both close their folders and stand up as well. The three of them intend move the tables and chairs to one side of the room. However, just as they put their hands on the table, you notice Lillian's eyes narrow and as if by some invisible force, the table flies against the wall, with all the chairs included. Rufus and Kimiko are forced to their knees to avoid the flying chairs, by some unseen entity. Lillian smirks and says, "That's mine. Telekinesis is the commonly used term."
At this point, you're allowed to show off your power with a little bit more space. They listen intently to your story, with nothing between you and group now except air. You're required to take only a few steps to the right to crush the table into a slope, causing their folders to fall at your feet. Inside, you find, more or less, everything. Your life from where you were born, to your career, and the details of your new identity. Some of this stuff was clearly documented by FBI and CIA, but most of it was done by cheap paper copy or notes taken on yellow legal paper. It was likely that most of this information was somehow gathered by these three meta humans. You could at least be certain that if they were honest, nobody else knew, just as they claimed. You recognize most of the research hand-writing is quite neat and you recall Lillian claimed to be the one to find you.
Rufus says, "Trust me in that our enemies are much tougher than anything you've combated before. We'll go into the details in the MHD meeting, right after this interview. You'll get an idea of the necks we hope you can break."
Rufus unbuttons his shirt and takes off his jacket, revealing a muscular frame. He flexes his muscles and his skin transforms into translucent red ruby.
"My transformation is similar to yours, but it covers my whole body. I become much stronger and inhumanly tough. However, I am vulnerable to certain elements, including the cold."
He closes his eyes and focuses again. His ruby skin dissolves back into normal human flesh. Rufus looks over at Kimiko expectantly. She removes her glasses and sets them on the table.
"I am capable of using water, ice, and manipulating cold," she says calmly. Her brown eyes change to a glowing blue as you feel the room get colder, and colder. You can see your breath and everyone else's, except Kimiko's, as the cold becomes unbearable. You begin uncontrollably shivering, as do Lillian and Rufus, and the room fills with a thick fog. Just before you scream out, it reverses. The fog disappears, you stop shivering, and the space returns to room temperature. Her glowing blue eyes dissolve back into their normal brown.
"These are our powers," Lillian declares, "We appreciate you giving us trust, as we have no intention of betraying it. If you want us to destroy those folders, we can, or you can keep them. You're one of us and we intend to stand by you as long as you stand by us."
Rufus chuckles, "She can be a little dramatic. We'll fill you in on all the details at the meeting, including your starting pay."
Once they all re-dress and replace the table, Lillian uses her telekinesis to re-shape the table into its normal form. It's still got a slight decline, but you wouldn't notice it if you weren't looking for it. Rufus opens the door for everyone to exit back into the waiting room. It seems it was time for the meeting unless you had questions that couldn't wait.

All (Following individual posts)
Spoiler (click to show/hide):
The entire group is left in the waiting room for times ranging from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on who finished their interview in what order. This time goes by slowly for some and too fast for others enjoying themselves. However, to everyone's relief, the three MHD directors return and Rufus announces, "Everyone, please, follow us."
Assuming you all follow, they lead you down a long hallway that eventually ends in two wooden double doors. Rufus and Lillian hold the doors open for Kimiko and every other MHD member. It turns out to be a small convention room, likely capable of sitting fifty people, so fifty chairs are setup even though only ten MHD recruits are entering the hall. It was a nice, large, open space, giving everyone plenty of room due to the amount of people who'd normally sit here. It was a nice change to the interview room and the waiting room. It was quite low temperature here compared to the rest of the building, possibly 60-65 degrees.
Once everyone is inside, Rufus closes the doors and follows Lillian and Kimiko to the small raised platform at the back-center of the hall. A large screen drops down behind them, revealing this might be part slide show. A thought comes across everyone's minds; you hope this wasn't death by power point presentation.
Once everyone's settled and quiets down, Rufus takes center-stage with the slide-clicker in his right hand.
"Welcome to the Meta-Human Division, or the MHD. You've all been selected to be the frontline against the otherworld invaders, who we've nicknamed 'monsters,' 'creatures,' and 'aliens.' However, the MHD has decided on the term 'Xenos.' They're all alien to Earth and they're all attempting to reek havoc on our society."
He presses the clicker and a group of Xenos appear on the screen. They're all different sizes, shapes, and colors, but they do have some similarities: horns, shades of red skin color, and seemingly bi-pedal (walks on two legs).
"There are four main categories, or factions, of xenos. Each faction works with each other against the other three, and each faction shares similarities with one another. Their division is something we can take advantage of. Perhaps in time, we can turn them inward and use their divisive nature to our advantage. These are Demon Class Xenos. They seem to very aggressive and wield powers similar to ours, mostly of fire and earth. They're the only class to all have horns."
Rufus hits the clicker, revealing another class of xenos. These ones all have pale skin colors, white, peach, or cream colored, and each one has wings.
"These are the Angel Class Xenos. Their main feature is they all possess wings. They're almost impossible to catch or kill. Don't let their nickname foll you, they're just as self-serving and bent on our downfall as the others. They seem to be able to manipulate weather and channel electricity."
Rufus taps the clicker, revealing a slide of creatures all with green skin. Other than that, they all very greatly in size and mode of movement (some bipedal, some quadruped).
"These are the Fenrir Class Xenos. They're much less intelligent than the other three classes. They act on base desires and needs more than anything else. Some of them resemble animals on earth, such as Wolves, lions, etc, and some other resemble very tall, muscular humans. Their main feature is their green skin or fur, something no other class has. They seem to turn our own animals and creatures against us. We've even had reports of mind control of normal humans. Despite their lack of intelligence, do not underestimate their feral cunning."
Rufus taps the clicker and reveals a slide of purple/violet skinned monsters. These are the most bizarre by far. Some of them have no legs. One is merely a large head with many eyes and a dozen tentacles coming from its head, all strangely shaped like cocks.
"Finally, these are the Abberant Class Xenos. They're the most dangerous mostly because we know next to nothing about them. We're only aware they prefer to hide underground and they have largely mind-affecting powers."
He taps the clicker one last time, revealing a side-by-side comparison of each class.
"What do they all have in common? They prey on humans and they feed on our psychic energy. Non-metas have low psychic energy, but the xenos still prey on them. They become more powerful with every human's energy they drain, ranging from Class 1 Xenos to Class 10 Xenos. What's worse is the draining of psychic energy does not always kill a person, though it can, it may also turn one of us into one of them, just as sadistic and self-serving, ever hungry for psychic essences. However, the xenos' favorite meal is meta humans. Our pool of psychic energy is limitless, and though we can never become a xenos by being drained, we provide them a limitless pool from which they can make themselves stronger, more evolved, and our energy is more potent compared to a normal person's. Some unfortunate meta humans, early on, were captured and are drained daily. The method by which they drain us..."
Rufus taps the clicker and reveals a slide of pure debauchery. Xenos are raping humans by the dozens. It was like a satellite shot of New York City on E-Day. Some demons are double-teaming women left and right, filling both holes, and what's worse, not all of them seem unhappy...
"...Sexual release. Our psychic energy is released for them to absorb when we orgasm. As crude as it is, these demons desire to rape every human being on Earth, and by effect, make us slaves. Our job is to prevent that. We will begin operations in Japan and start small. We will respond to sightings and investigate reports of xenos. We give priority to rural areas, as they can go into hiding much easier, and go unchecked longer. For doing this job, you will all receive 100,000 Japanese Yen per month, 1,200,000 Japanese Yen per year, slightly more than $100,000 US dollars. This is a starting pay, and once we prove ourselves to the three governments, they will happily raise these salaries, so if you want more, do well. If you think that's low, just understand that we as directors make 3/4ths of that, as we want you all to be motivated to do excellent work."
At this, Rufus hands the clicker over to Kimiko. Rufus takes a seat behind her as the Japanese woman takes her turn speaking.
"The political climate is tense. People are more afraid of the xenos than they are of us. Let's keep it that way. We want you to stop these monsters at all cost, but do not do it at the cost of human, or meta-human, life. Avoid collateral damage, or we could all end up the number one enemy instead of the xenos. The format in which we plan to conduct the division is more like a freelancer agency. We will post jobs, and everyone is required to have one at all times, with a required number of meta's required to complete it. You're free to build your own teams and complete these missions as you please. Some missions will be solo investigations, but we still require you to act with the utmost caution."
Lillian begins handing out a small box to each person in the room. In each box is an iPad, an iPhone, and an envelope. Each envelope has a name on it, indicating who it's for. Lillian manages to hand out the envelopes and boxes to all the right people. In the envelopes is a military I.D. with your faces and a bank debit card for some Japanese bank you haven't heard of.
"Do not lose the I.D.'s. They have the highest level of clearances. Any copying of these I.D.'s will alert us immediately electronically. In addition to performing their normal tasks, the phone and tablet are programmed with a very specific purpose, as well as whatever else you might use it for. They will beep when you come within a quarter mile of psychic disturbances. We've learn to locate high levels of psychic energy. This will always be a xenos, and it will let you know you're close to one. Meta humans give off a different kind of energy that we've yet to discern for location purposes. If you're ever captured, it is paramount you keep one of these devices on you if possible. It will allow us to locate you and send help."
Once everyone receives their new toys, Lillian returns to the stage and takes the clicker from Kimiko. The Japanese girl takes her seat next to Rufus behind Lillian. The blonde taps the clicker and the screen changes to a list of places, with mission bullets next to each.
"Here is an overview of each mission. This same digital board will be available to look at on the tablets we gave you, and we'll have a digital board at the apartment complex. You need only indicate via either means that you accept the job. If it requires more than one person, they'll also have to accept it before you're cleared to begin operations. Upon accepting a job, one of us three will contact you immediately and give you any other necessary details. Again, welcome to MHD. We'll be available for any questions you have now, and once you're ready, we'll head to the apartments we'll all be staying at."

Mission Board (Will also be posted in OOC thread's second post.)
Spoiler (click to show/hide):
1. Hachijo, Tokyo, Kanto, Japan
-Government official Aiko Akane has disappeared and witnesses claim a xenos snatched her from her vehicle. In addition to it raising panic and tensions, her family has offered a large sum to whomever can find her. It will largely require investigation and confrontation with a mid-tier Xenos.
-Psychic disturbances indicate a Class 4 Xenos of unknown category.
-Minimum 2-Person Mission.
2. Aikawa, Kanegawa, Kanto, Japan
-Three daughters and a wife were dragged out of their house by multiple Demon Class Xenos. The father, Takeda Shogen, reported the incident and it was confirmed by satellite cameras.
-Psychic disturbances indicate three to five Class 1 and 2 Demon Class Xenos.
-Minimum 2-Person Mission.
3. Camp Hansen, Kin, Okinawa, Japan
-A US military base primarily focused on training and international drills with Japanese Defense forces has been overrun. Satellite and base cameras confirm at least a dozen Fenrir Class Xenos.
-Psychic readings indicate power levels between Class 1 and Class 3.
-Minimum 5-Person Mission.
4. Yokota Air Base, Fussa, Tokyo, Japan
-The US-Japanese Military headquarters for the country is missing its commander. General Maximillian Armstrong has gone missing and several soldiers were killed in the process. Cameras show an Angel Class Xenos as the culprit. However, due to the high security, there was no footage of the Xenos leaving the base, and it's possible it's concealed itself among the soldiers. It will be a sensitive job, requiring some discretion to avoid chasing off the angel, or scaring the military into chasing you off of base.
-Psychic readings indicate the xenos is still on base and is a Class 2 in power.
-Minimum 1-Person Mission.
5. Fujisato, Akita, Tohoku, Japan
-This area is suffering intense psychic disturbances. There've been reports of a growing secret society that regularly practices orgies, and possibly worships the xenos. By newly placed law, all such individuals are to be sent to an institution for the insane. However, our concern is finding the cause of the psychic disturbances. Xenos are present in the town, or they wouldn't show up on our readings. It will be largely a search and destroy mission, but how you search for the disturbance is up to you.
-Psychic readings indicate multiple Class 1 and 2 xenos are in the area. Number unknown.
-Minimum 2-Person Mission.
6. USS Delaware, Sea of Japan, Pacific Ocean
-A US military air-carrier has psychic disturbances aboard. Captain John Anderson indicated some of his soldiers have been acting strangely lately. It's more than likely a xenos is infiltrating the vessel for one reason or another. If you accept, you will be required to accompany the Delaware on its voyage until you find the Xenos in question. As we know very little about their powers, it could also be hiding and moving in the shadows to remain undetected.
-Psychic readings indicate a Class 2 of an unknown category.
-Minimum 1-Person Mission.
7. Himeji Castle, Himeji, Hyogo, Japan
-The famous Himeji Castle has been taken over by a powerful Xenos and his subordinates. Japanese police have setup a barricade and quarantined the area. Reports indicate they can hear screams and moans from the vast complex through the hours of the day and night.
-Psychic readings indicate a Class 4 Demon and a dozen or more Class 1 Demons.
-Minimum 4-Person Mission.
