Alex quickly noticed the guy following him and slowed down so the man could catch up. "I don't think I caught you name back there. I'm Alex." Alex in fact felt a little better about the whole portal thing, probably from Anthony being around. "SO0oooo... What'd you do before you ended up here? Not that you have to tell me! But I'm just a little curious... And who knows how long we might be here so it might be worth getting to know each other. Not that we need to but I'd like to." Alex stammered out with an embarrassed blush, realizing how nosy the question seemed, talking still wasn't a strong suit. Alex noticed that Anthony was looking for anything useful to bring back to the camp so Alex joined in, looking for anything useful on the ground.

Anthony smiled at Alex, "My name is Anthony, it's nice to meet you, Alex." He said and started picking up things such as twigs, branches, and dried grass, a smile still on his face, "What i've done before coming here is something that I....I don't remember." he said, though it was a lie, he didn't need to know and tell the others what he had done, "How about you? What did you do before coming through the portal?" He asked, looking over at him now, noticing the blush and everythin, "Now now, no need to be shy and everythin. Like you said, we need to get to know each other, especially since we're going to be stuck here for some time."

"Hehe I guess you're right Anthony.. Well back in my town, I guess you could say I was a nurse but I was never really good at it, just able to bandage people and slow fevers. I wasn't super fun but I wasn't old enough to decide whither to pursue being a hunter or gathering herbs with my mother." Alex smiled as he remembered his own home. Chuckling, Alex poked Anthony on the back. "Hey! You didn't tell what you did! If I share you gotta too, its only fair! You look pretty strong. A guard? No something grander than that! Come on! I won't tell anyone, promise!" Alex said, getting more excited with each guess.

With Bitsie in her hands, Alice completely calms down. She knows her friend would never let anything bad happen to her and would literally kill anyone who tried it. "Thanks, Bitsie." She says, rubbing her face against the blunt bit of her friend before looking out to see what everyone else is doing. Seeing the siblings going off somewhere, she decides to follow them. They hunting after all, so maybe she can help. The creatures of the forest do love her after all and Bitsie loves them too.

Gasp! The knife-wielding lady was on the move! Abigail's attention almost immediately snapped away from her beloved sister to watch her, pondering for a brief moment. Dare she follow-- Why was she even asking herself that, of course she'd follow! She was already dead anyways, and no doubt she would be the most interesting of the group, considering the patch, the pretty dress and the knife. She almost looked like something out of a twisted version of a fairy tale...

... Hmm.

"Do stick close, Wendy." Abigail spoke, mirror in hand as she walked after Alice. It seemed she was headed in the direction of the hunting pair... She wasn't particularly good at strangling small creatures to death, seeing as they were a bit quick, but she could certainly try if she managed to catch something! Anything big, well, she'd leave that to the stronger bunch. Not that she was afraid for herself, she merely knew her strength- and feared for Wendy, of course. Once she caught up with the no doubt stab-happy lady, she'd walk alongside her.

Though she kept a respectful distance of at least arm-and-a-knife's length, in order to keep her mirror safe from assault.

Amber rolls her eight-sided die to see which dice she should roll... 4!

Amber decides that the next die she will roll will be the ten-sided one. Alex and Anthony head north, and although they do not pass through any sort of forest, they do enter a rocky hillside. They both spot Anna, hissing and gnashing at the sunlight while carrying around her bundle of flint, she seems to be heading the opposite direction they are. Angela, Andy, and their mini-entourage begin heading to the west... The ground beneath their feet steadily become more and more wet as they wander closer to the muggy, humid swamp. A lone willow tree overhangs the edge between grasslands and marsh.

Alex and Anna gather some grass and twigs from the same location as each other

Torch: Two grass, two twigs
Axe: One twigs, one flint
Pick: Two twigs, two flint

Bellies begin to rumble hungrily... food would be nice.

Amber finds some berries from a bush and stuff them in her pocket.

Allegra stuffs her pockets full of leaves.

Andy frowns and holds his loudly rumbling stomach as they advance toward the swamp. God damn it. Where was the foodddd! He pouted lightly and saw water... maybe they had fish. It was worth a try,"Angela! Help me get some fish!" He insisted tugging hard at her arm as he ran towards the water's edge. There had to be some food there! Maybe even a frog.. mmm... frog legs.

Amber hums, and picks up her dice once more, before casually throwing her ten sided die into the air. As she waits for it to land, she waves over at Algera, and asks, "Hey, ... Algera, are you hungry? I found some berries over here. Do you want any?" Amber turns, expecting the die to have landed by now.. And then begins picking berries off of the berry bush, humming a small tune under her breath as she does so. She's not sure where she'll store the berries.. But at least she'll have them. That's good, right?

Looking down at her grumbling stomach she nods. "Sure Amber." bouncing over happily Allgera bounds up to Amber and gives her a small hug and awaits rocking on her heels. "How many do you have?" She pats her pockets before nodding a little to herself. "Can you make pillow cases so I can stuff them full of leaves to have something to sleep on?"

"In a minute. If you can grab some grasses or other things we can use to make that, then we can do that.. But I need to finish picking the berries, I just started." Amber makes a pocket out of her dress, gently placing the berries in the front of it to try and preserve as many of them as possible while also keeping her only set of clothing clean at the same time. It'd be best to not walk around naked in this place.. Who knew what would happen?

"Okay." She smiles with the promise of food she quickly skips off to collect grass bending it down by the waist showing off her ass to anyone watching her as she collects grass.

Angela groans and looks at the water. She takes off the headphones for one ear and winces as the loud noise of water fills it along with all of the other noise around her. "So much conversation... too much conversation... just... focus.." she says to herself quietly. While she is listening, she looks around for any odd bushes that might contain some delectable fruits. Her stomach growls too but she focuses on finding food for Andy first. She listens intently for any croaking

Taking as much grass and sticks as she could, she took stock of her materials and hoped it was enough for at least a wide brim hat.
If she did, she'd start trying to weave, though this inconvenient flesh sac she called a body was beginning to demand sustenance.
How annoying.
Once she had her hat, or it had turned darker, she'd start foraging.

When they reach the portal again to find that nobody appeared to be around, Amy gave a sigh, only to sigh again at the sound of Amy's stomach rumbling. "Well now, it seems that we are in a right old tizzle. No matter! I'm sure we can at least make something out of the seeds if we get a fire going. Only problem is that we need flint... Amy dear, do you see anyone?"
"Xwqi, E blx'y kii lxtwxi..."
"Well then Amy dear, would you mind looking around for some flint again or someone? That's a girl."

Anthony was about to say something before they had ran into Anna and smiled at her, "Hello, out here finding things as well?" He asked and decided to use this time to help them find things around (as said above), when they had gathered what seemed like necessary items to make a small fire, he looked at the two, "Alright, go back to camp with the stuff, we'll need it to stay warm for the night. I'll go look for food, we can't really do much if we're hungry. He told them and went off on his own to find food such as apples or berries.

Alex glanced at Anna then back to Anthony and frowned. Alex had enjoyed Anthony's company but if he was taking charge and was going to get the group food then Alex couldn't really protest. "Okay... I guess we should return to base, Anna." Alex said, feeling a bit dejected by Anthony's leave.

[Nobudi]

"Don't bother me Flesh Bags," Anna growled at the others.
She was still figuring out how the hell to make a damn hat.

Amber rolls a ten-sided die and it lands on 10...ooo

Angela removes her sturdy earcups

Unholy gurgling echoes from every corner of the marsh, this place is not a happy place at all. Something wriggles and squirms within the pool of water, hungrily. Sloppy wet footsteps shamble about in the distance.

Andy runs off towards the water's edge of a foul-looking pool within the marsh. Bubbles frothing to the surface of the pool is the only warning he receives before a menagerie of gropy tentacles flail out from the water. He is caught by the ankle and dragged closer and closer towards the pool. The way the writhing limbs caress him does not at all look friendly.

As much as she hate the day creatures and all that they stand for, Anna was feeling a bit more comfortable when Anthony was around... Meanwhile Anthony wanders off and manages to find an entire grove of apple trees, after collecting a few, it becomes clear that picking all of these trees will take a long time by himself.

Anna does her best impression of a hat maker with some twigs and grass... she creates a Stupid Twig Man. Looking at him brings memories of failure and poverty.

Allegra skips around pulling hardy tufts of grass

Anthony fondles a handful of apples victoriously

Amy discovers a sharp rock the size of her fist, flint at last!

When they finally found flint, Amy would have jumped with joy on Amys arm if she could, but for now she would have to do with Amy jumping herself.
"Haexy, hexlaat!"
"Yes I know Amy, finally we have found some flint! Amy dear, would you mind picking it up? We should hopefully be able to at least get a fire going with it. That's a girl."
With the newly acquired flint, Amy then checked over her supplies to see if she would have at least enough to make tools or get a fire going in order to roast the seeds.

Anthony smiled at the amount of apples he had found and decided to take them back to the campsite where the others were. He needed free hands anyhow if he was going to get more food for them to find, maybe he can even fashion a spear later to hunt animals to cook!
