Aislinn sighs and slumps over, her head hitting the table with a solid *thunk*. This really isn't what she thought she'd be doing today when she woke up this morning. Then again, if she HAD thought she'd be getting embroiled in a supernatural secret society bent on protecting the world she would have thought she was finally getting another creative spark for a story. Well, she supposes there IS a story in all this. Use the legend names to protect the Society, come up with a snazzy name, and viola! Instant best-selller for young children and teens.

She supposes she should come back to the present. She asked William some questions about the Society's leaders and organization and about the Weapons of Lore (and there's the book title if she inserts the protagonist's name before it), but she supposes he either isn't allowed to tell her about those or doesn't know. Wait a second... Aislinn's head snaps up and she gives William a hard stare. "Human's oly? What 're ya sapposed ta be den?"

Garian watched the man go into the burning museum, his hands balled into fists as he believed him to be the culprit of the attack he felt though still unsure. He would still follow him though, ignoring the sounds of sirens coming closer and ran through the crowd and after the man into the museum, he didn't want to announce his presence yet, he wanted to find out what he was going to do and where he was actually going.

MiscChaos - Aislinn Desmond
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

A little half smile had settled on his features, but refused to go away or even go a full blown smile. If anything, that made him all the more hard to read.
"I'm a werewolf, a Faoladh to be precise," he said quite mildly, in a tone that was best to be used for describing the weather.
"I'm hardly the only non- human in the Society's employ, most of the other types of workers here aren't human as well. Out of all of them, only three are human."
He was about to continue, but he just said, "And here is one of them."
Following his eyes, a young woman sat next to you.
Having even heavier Asian features than William, she also wore a Kimono and was generally quite pretty.
William coughed and said, "This is Mochizuki Chiyome, owner of the Fantasmia, and member of the Society."
She extended on long, graceful looking arm, and looked at your state as she did so.
"Welcome. You've must've had a rough night, no? Would you like a change of clothing?"

Albedo28 - Roland Ernstein
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Picking up the blade didn't make it talk.
But really, what could you expect? It was a sword after all.
Albeit an unusual one. The blade looked quite fragile, almost crystalline in the right light.
The hiss draws closer, then you get struck by something.
In the flickering light of the flames, a nude young woman had attacked you... with her lower half, that of a snake.

exalted - Samantha Brown Colt
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The man gasped and wheezed, trying to crawl away as the ground beneath him was smeared with his blood.
Once you had gotten to him, his left arm snaked and shot out, grabbing your forearm with a grip of iron.
"F- found ya boy..." he wheezed out in a drawl. "Goo- Good ta see you Jesse..."
As much as you tried to refute or get him to release his grip, he just ignored it, going for your gun holster and removing your standard issue pistol.
He then placed in an antique gun, a six round revolver, if your eyes are serving you correctly.
"Don't... let 'em find the gun. Don' let 'em find... you," he gasped out, the wheezing growing more prominent.
"I- I... wish you luck, and I'll s-see ya... in the next life."
Faster than you could move, in a single, swift motion, he flicked off the safety, cocked the gun, put the barrel to his temple, and pulled the trigger.

Sync Roll 4d6. Difficulty Normal.

Pass.

Handling Roll 6d6. Difficulty Hard.
2,4,5,2,6,5
Pass.

With one swift motion, you switch off the safety, crank the bolt, line up the sights and fire.
Smoothly. Almost too smoothly.
When could you fire a gun like this? And when was the gun loaded?
You stop to think, for just a moment as the bullet sped towards the target.
However, it bounced off with a 'ping', almost as if that thing has a skull of steel.
You want to try and fire again, but an arm grips your shoulder.
Said arm belongs to a woman with twintails. And a longsword. At your feet is a riot shield.
"Leave this to me, if you please," she said smoothly, before picking up the riot shield and speeding off to fend off the giant thing.

Earthsage - Guinevere Smith
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Intelligence Roll 3d6. Difficulty Hard.
2,5,3
Saving Roll: 2. Save Roll: 6
Partial Fail.

It would've been better for you to have skimmed over a lot of the details of the things in the book. You've only been able to keep up with a lot of it because your aunt's notes acted as sort of an abridged version for you to follow.
For starters, 'witchcraft' wasn't truly magic in the fullest sense of the word. Summoning looked like magic, but there was a physics equation in the margins alongside the notes, as if someone else had written it, that you don't recognize.
The recipes in the back half was quite close to cooking, but with slightly more unusual instructions.
And all this came at the cost of a headache. And it's still hard for you to understand.
Perhaps knowing where it came from would give you a clue?

That_One_Guy - Garian
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Parts of the museum are burning down, and much of your instincts just told you just how stupid it was to go in here.
The smoke was so thick, you lost the man almost immediately, though you followed the sound of his footsteps.
Now, you've completely lost him, and the exhibit nearby tells you that you're in the India section.
And out of nowhere, you have the sensation that you have to follow. No matter what.

CrimsonNutcase37 - Edward Gordon
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Before any attempts of combat occur, a shadow lunged at the thing.
Closer inspection would reveal a young woman with raven twintails. In her right hand was a longsword much like yours.
Her left, interestingly enough, was a riot shield.
Taking the opportunity, the woman managed to score a deep gash on its belly, and it roared in pain.
"Stay back," she said. "The professionals will handle this."

Voff - Jan Sigurdson
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Coordination roll 4d6. Difficulty: Extreme.
Fail.

You made a bad choice friend. Attempting to run only made it chase you.
And it's unnaturally fast.
With a swift jump, it leapt over you, cutting you off immediately.
Then, it crouched, and pounced.
Years of boxing instinctively saved your ass, as the monster can't get a good lunge at your throat or any deep cuts on you.
But, now you're on your back, with a monster snapping at your throat and not a whole lot of room to maneuver.
Luckily, it seems like the monster isn't much stronger than a human, so that's probably why you're fending it off.

"What the fuck?" Sofia shouted as the crazy lady with a riot shield of all things ran by her. There is no way a person with a shield and sword is going to take out a giant with a damn metal skull.

Well, she hadn't made a habit of letting idiots with thick skulls get in her way in the past, so she might as well not start now. At least the rifle was familiar, though she didn't really have time to inspect it carefully with a rampaging monster on the loose. Oh well, if it's head is too thick, she might as well hamstring it. Looking for some cover she could stand the gun up on, she took aim and fired again, trying to blow out a kneecap this time.

Crap! This is bad. The creature's snapping jaws was not something Jan had wanted to get a better look at, but before he knew it he had found himself on his ass doing exactly that. Staring right up at her fangs and claws at an uncomfortable close view.

Thankfully he was somehow managing the keep those jaws abay at the moment. Running was not the smartest thing he had done so far. All he could do now was fight. He trew up his fist close together in front of his face, as if he were in a defencive stance, so that her swipes and bites would have a harder time reaching his throat. Hurting his hands was one thing, getting his throat mangled was definetely something he wanted to avoid. He was rather fond of breathing.

Only holding up his hands was not going to help Jan much in this position, or any position against this creature, so as quick as he could he started swinging his fists, hoping to put the creature of it's balance for long enough so that he could push her off and get on his feet.

"Fuck, fuck, fuck," Sam hissed as she stumbled away from the corpse, ears still ringing from the shot.

Dumbfounded, she looked down a the man, trying to take in what had happened in those short few seconds.

"Scratch that medical assist," She meekly reached for the speaker mic, "Better call the cops, just had a guy blow his brains out in front of me... can you expedite that, I'd like to get this remains out of my hair... literally."

Edging back towards the body she quickly checked for a pulse, just in case a miracle had happened and the bullet hadn't exploded out the back of his head. She would leave her sidearm where it lay, not wanting to tamper with the evidence if there was an investigation. Still she would stick her head around the door in to the room, making sure there were no other threats or dangers. Something had caused that blast and there was something that had scared the man enough to eat a bullet instead of face it.

Roland frowned at the sword in his hand. He knew it would not talk but he also knew several other things. Durandal was not made of crystal. It could not look so fragile if it had been named for enduring. He took a quick glance at the weapon's hilt to see if it was gold or held any evidence of containing holy items of the Christian Faith like the blood of Saint Basil or a piece of the Raiment of the Virgin Mary. Just seeing the sword sitting in the middle of the cater had led him to believe it might have been some divine signal but now he was not so sure. It might have just been thrown there after ricocheting off a wall... Though with its weak appearance he was confused as to how it survived at all.

Then after the few seconds it took him to inspect the weapon he was struck by something that turned out to be a naked lamia. Roland stared in disbelief more at the fact that this demon had managed to avoid his sight when he'd scanned the room for signs of the hissing IT WAS MAKING than at its form. It was certainly a devil of some kind and he stood for a moment ready to start sprinting away if it attacked again before he spoke, "What business do you have with me, Demon?"

Guinevere looked at all of the notes, the equations and the.. Cooking recipes? It seems like this is some form of book on Witchcraft... Or something of the sort. But she's got no idea where it's from, or anything on how to make deciphering it more simplistic. Perhaps.. Perhaps she can use the library to her advantage.
With a glare at the pink vibrator, why did it have to be pink, surely it could be any other colour.. Guinevere started searching for information about her book. To start, she tried to discern the title of the book.. If it even had one.

Faoladh. Well there's a legend she hasn't heard of in quite some time. Irish Werewolves (and the fact that they're Irish is the only reason Aislinn's ever heard of them) are guardians, protectors of children, the wounded, and the lost, though their combat potential leaves much to be desired. She halfway wonders if William's part of the Ossory, and if he is where is his female partner. She also senses there's a story on why an Irish werewolf has Asian features, but she thinks that might be slightly rude to ask. Maybe when she's had more to drink and cares less. Then the new face comes though and makes it rude for her to follow up on her questions at all. Aislinn perks up instantly at the offer of new clothes.

"Dat'd be savage, tanks." She says, looking at... is Chiyome her first name? Or Mochizuki? Damn foreign names... She thinks Asians do their first names last, so she's pretty sure her name is Chiyome.

Edward blinked in surprise as the raven haired woman wielding the longsword and riot shield slashed the beast in the belly before shaking his head to clear his thoughts, keeping a tight grip on his blade "Unfortunately, I'm not the kind of person to not assist during trouble, especially not against whatever the hell this thing is" Edward said, not moving from his position, eyes switching between the beast and the woman "Soft underbelly, hmm?" he asked, changing his grip on the longsword to a one-handed grip, freeing up his other hand incase needed

Garian looked around through the smoke of the section of the museum, "Damnit, where the hell did he go?!" He cursed, talking to himself as he searched and searched, continuing his pursuit of him through the sounds of his footsteps. He wasn't going to lose this man, even if it meant crossing through fire itself to find him, he needed to know who or what he was that'll make him run into a burning building. He was determined now more than ever to find answers to all of this...and why he had to ruin a good time at the fancy bar.

MiscChaos - Aislinn Desmond
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Chiyome only smiles at your desire for wardrobe.
"Well then, come along," she said in a no- nonsense tone.
She escorts you behind the bar, and into a back location.
Stepping in, it looks like medieval Japan in here, sliding paper doors, long hallways, the works. Along each door is a name, usually female.
And a lot of the prostitutes are still cosplaying back here... Or not, depending on what you just learned.
Eventually, you make it to the end of the hallway, and she slid open the door, revealing a walk in closet with a LOT of different dresses and clothing.
"Please," she gestured. "Feel free."

Albedo28 - Roland Ernstein
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The snake- woman paused.
Then it made an odd noise.
It took several seconds, but you realized: she/ it was laughing. At you.
"Demon? I am no demon human," she said is a sweet, high voice.
She pointed to the left of her.
"That issssss a demon."
Out over there was a man with blood red skin in a business suit while a man dressed casually attempted to stick a long, red spear through him. No euphemism there.
It almost distracted you from the attack from her, with her long fangs attempting to bite you.

exalted - Samantha Brown Colt
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Luckily for you, seems like the bullet was lodged in his skull, so no brain on you.
Inside the room was nothing special.
If anything, the lack of anything special made it special.
There was something that looked quite like an electric chair was at the center of it. And along the walls were weapons, all lined up.
It kinda looked like a museum inside.
Now, curious employees are beginning to stick their noses into the hallway, but the cops arrive on the scene none too soon, and are intent to figuring out what the hell happened.

This woman is moving a lot faster than a normal human would, bobbing and weaving that would put any basketball player to shame while making more cuts along the target.
But it isn't enough.
Lining up your shot, you make an accurate hit towards the kneecap.
Unfortunately, you almost hit the woman, punching a hole right through her riot shield. While it did hit the knee of the thing, either it ignored the hit, or else for all intents and purposes, didn't care.
While it was covered in minor cuts and scratches, there was no major wound enough to cripple or at least disable it.
"Watch it!" she roared at you, the monster momentarily forgotten.
Then, the man decided to take a swing at the monster. The hit was shallow compared to her cuts.
"No! Stop!" she yelled, throwing herself into the fist of the monster that had aimed at him.
Her riot shield cracked in half, and she was sent flying.
She flew over 20 feet, easily, and hit a stone wall with a sickening crack that you could've heard from there.
She crumpled. And she wasn't moving.

Earthsage - Guinevere Smith
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Search as you might, you can't find a title for the damn thing.
Being a bit careless, you shook the book, dislodging anything that wasn't properly bound to it.
Several sheets of paper and the letter from the University of Massachusetts fall out.
Damn. And the pink vibrator is mocking you in your mind.

That_One_Guy - Garian
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Try as you might, you still can't find the man, even hopping over the flames hasn't helped you all that much.
Though you can hear something, like fighting, perhaps?
And if anything, this situation is getting weirder.
Unless you were intentionally running around in circles, you're still stuck in the India section.

CrimsonNutcase37 - Edward Gordon
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Strength Roll 4d6. Difficulty: Extreme.
6,5,3,1
Fail.

The woman bobbed and weaved like no one you'd ever seen. She was also talented with the sword, since she steadily whittled away at the monster, but the damage wasn't doing much to slow the beast down.
More or less covered in scratches, it just seemed angry than wounded.
Taking your opportunity, you were about to swipe at the belly, but you got distracted by the hole that had been punched through the riot shield.
"Watch it!" she roared at someone, probably someone with a rifle, since you heard the discharge earlier.
Taking your shot at the belly was akin to striking a sledge hammer into a solid wall of concrete.
You felt some material gave way, but there was massive resistance. How had that woman cut through so much of it?
The monster roared in anger, making you forget everything as it wound up a massive fist.
"No! Stop!" she yelled, throwing herself into the fist of the monster that had aimed at you.
Her riot shield cracked in half, and she was sent flying.
She flew over 20 feet, easily, and hit a stone wall with a sickening crack that you could've heard from here.
She crumpled. And she wasn't moving.

Strength Roll 5d6. Difficulty: Easy.
4,5,5,6,2
Pass.

You had only one real shot, and when the moment presented itself, you took it.
Managing to push her off, it tried to pounce on you again.
You took it down with a good right hook.
The wolf thing is no longer moving, save for steady breathing.
But, out in the distance, you can hear something.
Howling.

A block away from the Museum- Right now.
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

A man and a women stood, overlooking the scene of destruction.
And how much of a clusterfuck the situation had degraded into.
The woman growled. It was a deep, guttural sound, not something usually considered something for a human to be able to make.
The man stood next to her. His lips were a firm, resolute line. But his eyes watched the woman nervously.
"... You can go clean up now Jack," he said, sealing the fates of all those involved.
She stopped growling, and a sickly sweet smile graced her lips as she hummed, making her way over.

Somewhat disturbed by the lack of any visible threat that could have injured the man or caused the blast, Sam carefully backed up, making sure not step in any of the rapidly pooling blood from the man. Seeing faces sticking out of doors she shouted at them again to stay inside and keep them closed, pacing as she got her story straight for the cops and her supervisor.

"There was a blast, the man came out, injured and collapsed," She rehearsed, "I instructed all others to stay in their labs and lock the doors, then approached the man to check on his condition and secure the area. As I was doing so he became distressed, grabbed my weapon from the holster and shot himself."

Guinevere grumbles unhappily, looking at the scattered papers as she shoves the pink vibrator further back into the desk and shuts the drawer. She picks up any of the papers that were shaken loos, and looks at them carefully to try and see if she can find where they were supposed to go... And then, she'll put them back if she can. Once that's done.. She'll just try searching randomly on the internet, not exactly sure what she'd be hoping to find from her search.

Garian felt exhausted, he didn't seem to make any headway as he was still in the same section. He sighed, it felt like magic to him, but what was keeping him here? He was then hearing something, sounded like fighting. Mustering his will and strength, he ran towards the sound, hoping to find it and not be brought back to the same place. Maybe if he followed the sounds, he'd be able to actually get somewhere.

Jan looked down on his fists. It was not the first time Jan could praise himself lucky for Sigurd's lessons, and it probably would not be the last. The image of the wolf-creatures biting jaws kept running through his head like a bad horror movie. His mind snapped back to reality when another bone chilling howl came crawling up on him from the distance. "Of course. That there would be only one of them was too much to ask, wouldn't it?" Jan let out a sigh. He was alone, not sure where he was, and he had no clue where to go. Well, he was not entirely alone. The goosebumbs running down his arms reminded him of that. He could not see any reason to stick around, the fur-growing lady seemed to be still breathing and he definetely did not feel like staying around for a second date. Shelter. He needed to get out of the streets and hopefully before whatever was out there got any closer.

Roland takes in the scene going on around him with wide eyes completely unprepared to deal with whatever crazy conflict he'd stepped into. When he looks over to the corporate demon standing off to the side and saw some other man trying to kill him he HOPED that the demon was the one with the red skin otherwise this was going to get even more confusing for him soon.
he doesn't have long to focus on the bizarre turn of events though as the naga lady strikes out and tries to bite him. He quickly brings up the fragile looking blade between him and the woman, hoping that if she at least shattered it in her mouth that it would give her a few cuts to distract her so he could use the opportunity to get off this crazy train.

Well shit. This particular fight didn't seem to be going Sofia's way. Since apparently the only one who could really do damage to the thing just got knocked out or possibly killed, it was time for a full retreat. Maybe someone else will handle the damn thing.

Well, since someone else started fighting it, maybe she'd have a chance to take the hurt girl out of here while he took it's attention. "Hey you! Distract it a little longer, I'll grab the girl and we can get the hell out of here!"

Not looking for a response, Sofia runs over the the collapsed girl, picks her up over her shoulder, and starts running like hell; there was no way they could fight this thing.

Edward cursed when the woman was sent flying into a wall after taking a punch directed at him, his eyes wide when she collapsed to the floor. Hearing someone yell instructions to him, Edward nodded towards Sofia as he got back to his feet and glared at the creature. It didn't seem to care that it had almost killed a woman and seemed mindless, so Edward wouldn't feel too bad about trying to end it if the thing was that dangerous. Scowling, he kept his grip as tight as he could on the blade, wanting nothing more then to slice straight through the large armoured beast so that he could protect the others, Edward charging towards the beast with a yell, bringing his arms back to swing with all his might at the creature

Aislinn raises an eyebrow at the sudden change in scenery, but she supposes she shouldn't be overly surprised. She'd always heard brothels had their share of surprises so it shouldn't shock her that this one suddenly changes into something out of a continent far far away. OK, she's lying to herself and the change is a bit jarring, but it's not the worst thing she's seen today so she'll get over it. Especially since the much more interesting wardrobe in front of her takes her attention.

Well, her pants and such are alright since the... angel seemed to be trying to get a good gander at her tits rather than completely stripping her. Or there's more vital areas in the chest region than in the legs. One of the two. She skips bras since 1) Shes' fairly sure she's not Chiyome's size and 2) wearing someone else's underwear is gross and she wants no part in it unless absolutely necessary. Even if her breasts moving around would be distracting and painful in a fight... OK, seeing as there are things out there that want to kill her, getting that bra has become a bit more necessary. So she swallows her pride and looks through the wardrobe for a fitting bra, asking Chiyome if there are any around from the other workers in the brothel in her size if there isn't. With bra secure (or not), she looks into things to go over it. In the end, she decides to keep it simple both because she doesn't want anything really valuable being destroyed and that's what she's comfortable with. She picks up a simple T-shirt emblazoned with Sakura petals to wear and dumps Cu's coat to put it on. She figures Chiyome sees 20 pairs of boobs better than her's everyday so she doesn't feel the slightest bit shy about it.
