While Nezrule waited for Jenny's reply he turned his attention to the noise behind him. "I can hear you... what do you want?" He asked in a flat voice, having just thrown his book to the human he had no means of dispelling whatever was concealing the large creature in the skys with him.

Raze, Human

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Raze barely contained the comment about the plebs and their uncivilized ways that burned on her lips, and instead refrained to simply nodding. She stood up from the seat and vanished off into the cloth of the wagon behind her. The cloth was great to keep the silk free from the snow, but the piercing wind cut through it like butter all the same. Raze rummaged through her storage, carefully shoving the pile of raw cloth aside to find what she was looking for- scarves and other snowy attire. Softly humming to herself, she found three of each, namely a scarf, mittens, small blankets and hats. All finely crafted naturally, one piece even more intricately designed then the next. With a face showing her pride Raze came out of the wagon again, and showed the woman what she had dug up for her.
"This is what I have, though I'm not quite sure what would take your fancy. A scarf would be the easiest thing I suppose, but frozen ears can be quite troublesome as well..." Raze said, letting the woman decide.

Or... that was what she made the others believe she did anyways.
The truth was that Raze scoffed about this human, telling her what she wanted and how little she was prepared to pay for it. Barely containing the insult lying on her lips, she refrained to simply nodding. Standing out too much would cause problems, problems she didn't want to have. She dove inside the wagon, cautiously making sure the woman couldn't see her as she made herself comfortable. The various fabrics and attire stored in the wagon was merely for show, old fabrications of Raze when she was bored. Instead of using these cloths, she figured that making some on the spot whenever she could would give her the advantage of always carrying about a wide variety of goods, no matter what. And perhaps, if she couln't find a good opportunity, she could still sell all of her handiwork in that human city. Therefore using her own stock would be just silly.
Having made herself comfortable by shoving some craft work aside, she started humming to herself as she slowly pulled up her dress. The dress, milky white and with a hint of transparency, was made in such a way that it would hide her abdomen. But now, when she was safe, she could lift the dress and pull on the webbing she started making. With dextrous hands she both pulled at the webbing and started knitting a couple scarfs. Soon a second pair of arms appeared from underneath her dress, which soon aided in crafting scarfs, blankets and more.
When Raze was done she sighed, a prideful blush on her cheeks. She made sure her dress covered up her other self again, before grabbing her handiwork and coming back outside.
"This is what I have, though I'm not quite sure what would take your fancy. A scarf would be the easiest thing I suppose, but frozen ears can be quite troublesome as well..." Raze said, letting the woman decide. Internally, Raze shuddered in delight. Being able to use her spinneret was such a pleasure, and knowing some human was practically wrapping itself in her webbing on their on volition felt even better.

Lidderric put two and two together to realize that the object the gargoyle dropped to the humans below must have been his spellbook. "I could ask you the same thing. Why would a gargoyle be helping humans? I am here on... Vacation... But everywhere I go I carry the interests of the Army of Hell. Tell me what you want; we may be able to work out a deal beneficial for the both of us, as well as my army..."

"I require humans for my own reasons. Gaining their trust is the first step" He continued to hover over the caravan. He didn't explain himself any further trusting the demon less than the humans. Though he was slightly curious about how the demon might be of use. "What are you doing so far from the abyss?"

"Frankly, I'm here to have some fun with those humans down below. But, like I said, I wish to know why you want to gain their trust. I may be evil, but I'm no trickster demon. And I know that even a powerful gargoyle like yourself will need help rebuilding his race. So, again, you must tell me, what is your purpose here?"

Timothy tried to stifle a laugh, failing as a giggle slipped out of his lips. The good side of this was the female guard was right. At least he had shut up. With the possibility of permanent facial scarring and internal bleeding, but still, he was quiet. Mostly. Okay, not at all, but the inner sociopath in Tim found this to be acceptable. He offered his hand to the fallen stable boy.

"Do I need to go get some help or something...?"

(Hey, I'm not attacking unless you strike first. You'll have to excuse the skepticism; I have a hard enough time trusting some members of my own species, and most others haven't exactly made a good case for themselves with me.) While she picks up the book, Jenny's thoughts flash back to when she was serving alongside a different caravan a while back. A succubus-incubus duo had assaulted them at one point, the succubus being oddly disinterested in sexual activities. Her spear clashed with Jenny's a few times, but after realizing the two of them were obviously outnumbered and outmatched, they fled, to a place she never discovered. It's doubtful that either of them would've gone this far into the icy wilderness to pursue them, but if they did...well, they'd be lucky to get away with their lives, much less without any scars.

(As for where to land, lemme get back to you on that one; as part of the guard, I can't head too far from the caravan without the captain's permission. Besides, they've gotta know about that frost giant you tipped me off to.) With that said, Jenny heads for the guard captain, while trying to formulate how to explain her findings. Normally, stating that it's from a "reliable source" isn't quite enough, so she'll need to come up with something more specific. Perhaps say that it was a travelling mage in the area, and that she needs to head out to return his spellbook? That might work...

Nezrule seemed to be concentrating on something for a moment before turning and flying away from the caravan. Only the faintest link could be felt between the human and himself, enough for her to summon him again when he was required. In the mean time he returned to the tower in the village trying to set down atop it. "If your still following me demon, my purpose is simple, I require a live human, either to attempt to mate with or to use in my experiments. I would prefer a willing soul, they're generally easier to handle once ripped out of their bodies." He idly placed his hand on a large icicle that had formed on the edge of the tower and gently broke it off beginning to carve into it with his claws. His body didn't give off much heat so it was easy to focus on the detailing.

The dragon girl was angered by the older man that was called her father. She knew that he was there when he was raising her for the time she wasn't able to remember anything but she was also not some dog that you could always beat back into submission and she was tired of his attitude toward her, "So you want to compare me to some little winch on the streets a whore as you would call it." She roared back as she walked over and pinned him up to the cage bars by the collar of his shirt. "I didn't ask you to sit in here with me... i didn't request your presence near me nor did i ask that you be a target for ridicules. You can leave and damned time you felt like it Father but you didn't choose to. You try to beat me whenever i get mouthy but i know where i belong i am a Dragon I am a prideful being and someone that should look down on you. But you kept me safe from those that would kill me other wise. I just rather not be treated like some common dog that you let out ever so briefly. You want to have me stop complaining let me out of this fucking cage and I will..." She finally let go of him and stood back.

She looked to the man and sighed. "That was how i seemed when i first came to you. Those two are exactly how we looked, but besides that i was a little dragon girl. my races body doesn't age like you humans so when you picked me up i was still around 80 or so... But in my race that is still a child. Its been many years hasn't it father?" She said as she looked back. "took you a while to actually raise a child like Dragoness to what is here huh?" She said back toward him. "But humans fear what they don't understand for the most part... I would keep you safe but i would rather not have anything to do with any of those around here. They all look down on me just because i am a monster of some sort from the whispers i have heard, even some plotting to kill me just because they don't like me." She was regretting staying as long as she had with these humans now. Not able to even be one to work with them. They keep her caged up like a attack dog and she was tired of that.

He would scout them from there and maybe pick off a few stragglers with the help of Cyline. Those tendrils could he quite handy.

Following along behind, Cyline kept her body low, moving more like a cat than a biped, spreading her weight out on the snow so as to lessen her impact apon it and leave a lighter trail. She intended on going ahead once they had reached the point that Gino was aiming for so that she could use her light-shifting abilities to hide and appear to be either furthur away or just a blurred outline of a girl in the snow. As Evan approached the cage, he heard Sileen and her father arguing. Again. He set the girl on the cart and climbed up after her, sitting outside the cage.

"Hey, Sileen. Is this a bad time? I was worried the cold might be bothering you, but I guess it's still just the cage. Want me to go talk with the Captain again?"

Not that the umpteenth try was likely to have better results. But he hated that she was locked up in this cage. Keeping a girl prisoner just because she wasn't a full-blooded human... It was wrong. Evan knew better than most that monster blood didn't make a monstrosity. Locking a girl in a cage, ostracizing her, treating her like an animal; that was a monstrosity. People could be so stupid, maybe being a monster was better.

Evan hugged the small girl in his arms tighter. Maybe not. Being a human meant something, and this dragon must know that also. That's why she had come. She wanted to be a person, not a beast. Why couldn't the Captain see that?
And then he vanished, never seen again.

Sileen sighed as she looked over toward Evan as he sat ouside of the cage, "you are the only one that understands me, If i really wanted to hurt anyone i would have left by now but this is getting tiring, all i do is sit in here doing nothing until they need me." She said as she was rather agitated. Her firey attitude showing all too well.

"and besides that talking with him wont do a damned thing. Nothing will get through his massively thick head except my claws or my teeth i am sure." She sat near by looking over toward the human he was nice to her most of the time noticing she was trying to at least be more human then those that were around her but they didn't want that just because she was a half breed.

"I'll take them all... if you tell me the price for such wonderful silken wares" she says feeling the silk produced from the body of Raze. She puts the scarf on immediately and says "So how does it look?" she asks in the white silk. "Oh... and what is your name if i might ask. I want to know who i can order clothing of this quality from in the future. Mine is Khristena" she says sticking her hand out for a shake.

Ichigo:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

shkip :P

Evan and Sileen:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

“Well what sort of father would I be if I were to leave my daughter in this blasted cold? I don’t even have the keys to this damned thing.” Sileen’s father says calming down as his little girl finally grows up to stand up to him “So you’ve finally grown.” He says smiling that same friendly smile he had every morning.

He looks at the girl following Evan. “What I hate the most about my kind… we destroy everything we can’t control… My wife was killed for being a mage… … …” he says the smile suddenly disappearing as a small tear rolls down his cheek.

Timothy:

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

"Well what does it look like??" he asks angrily. "yeah okay like i'm going to get up when i was nearly split in half...URGH!!!" he says curling back up into a ball of pain again. The snow is now bloody from the chin of the stableboy. The Dolyak made quite the cut with it's tail as the scar goes from the cheekbone all the way down to the chin where it ends in a bit of purple.

Ryker's disapproval grew the farther up he went. Whoever this person was, he had no respect for monsters. It was true there were more vicious and less intelligent monsters out there but humans had no right to lock them up. "Spineless whelps... Locking up nature's children is a true offense against the world." He sheathed his bottom axes before picking up the slime bottle. He examined the bottle, eyeing the slime inside of it before making sure the cap was secure. "We all will play a part in this conflagration against the humans. I'll make sure you play yours, my new friend." He placed the bottle securely on his belt before heading up to the next level.

Ryker knew that humans were careless. He knew that they could be cruel and selfish. Attack without provocation and commit genocides over the smallest things. But the imprisonment of the Great North Winds was unforgivable, treacherous and evil. She was an elemental almost as old as the world that she inhabited, yet here she was, her essence trapped in human runes. "This will not stand. THE VERMINS WILL PAY FOR THEIR TRANSGRESSION!" Ryker's voice roared in pure rage, furiously reversing the lever to release the North Wind. "Thousands of bones will be broken in return! Their screams will be lifted on the winds and the North Wind will know that her imprisonment did not go unpunished!"

Gino continues moving forward towards their ambush point,"Mmm.. you will be fine. Stick close to me and you won't be touched. You will be my guest. If you aid me they will be even more apt to let you stay. Let.us use your unique abilities for the good of the pack... and me." He said still grinning as he moved quickly along the snow nimbly on all fours.

"Khristena, a pleasure to meet you. My name is Raze, as my humble shop would be called Raze's Wares. And please, take them as a gift. A selfish encouragement to keep unarmored merchants like me alive, or perhaps because it suits you so well. When we reach our destination I'm sure my wares will sell nicely, but we will need to get there first. I will be putting my life in your hands, Khristena. Now, if you will excuse me... Nature calls." Raze said this in a casual but refined manner, although the hop off her wagon wasn't exactly as graceful as she hoped it would be. The snow was deep and slippery, and she had to keep a hand on the wagon lest she tumbled over. She looked up at Khristena and laughed disarmingly, before strutting through the snow, a little bit away from the caravan and starting to clear a small patch free of snow behind some bushes and trees. All alone, she hoped nobody would surprise her while she was most vulnerable

Timothy wasn't quite sure how to tell the stable boy that he had been reduced to quite the fugly state. He wasn't that ugly on his own, but the scar that the tail slash would undoubtedly bring would significantly lower his chances of getting laid in the foreseeable future. Tim felt a state of fleeting sadness for the body. On the other hand, if not treated, the cut could possibly get infected. Wouldn't want that to happen...

Jenny sighs as the guards around her all start questioning her on what the flying fu-...err, winged thingy just happened. Might as well explain. "Well, disregarding the stuff you guys wouldn't be interested in, there's a frost giant up ahead. Mr. Sky-High up there said so, and dropped me his spellbook as a gesture of good faith. The catch? He's gonna want that book back...and I have to return it alone." Being careful not to let the book's pages open, she holds it at her left side, and adds: "With that said, I'd like to see the captain, since I need his permission to head that far from the caravan. If I don't get that dude his book back, I think he may come for it himself...and something tells me we can't just keep it away from him..." Jenny glances upwards with that last comment, already pondering the circumstances in her head. Whatever that guy was, he can clearly fly at will, and who knows what other abilities he may have that they don't know about yet. Chances are that there's nowhere they can hide that book where he can't find it again...and if they keep it in the caravan's storage, it'll just provoke him to take it by force. Add to that the gut feeling, telling Jenny that he has his own backup at the ready for such an occasion...and yeah, returning that book seems the best course of action right now.

"So yeah, how about that meeting with the Cap'n? I'd rather not piss off the dude who knows where a frost giant is, y'know?"

"Well that just sounds delightful!" Cyline purrs as she bounds along after Gino, trusting in him to lead the way to their destination. She trusted that the journey would not be long, and that the pair of them would be able to set up their ambush with ease. She already had a plan in mind to act as a distraction in the snow drifts for the travellers to come down the pathway before launching her attach to startle any pack animals and throw them into disarray before vanishing off with a captive or two. Gino looked like he was a capable fighter, and so it would be best to leave it to him

Lidderric decides to fly ahead of the caravan, towards the abandoned city, and wait for them to make camp. He planned to "have a chat" with one of them while he/she was alone, and have some fun with one of the girls. He had yet to decide upon who these poor souls would be.
