Minecraft: Realm of the Endermen

Claire continues to crawl along the floor, the light giving way to darkness, tinted by a curious purple glow emanating from the Enderman who had knocked her to the ground with a mighty blow. She searches left and right, not seeing the weapon that had been tossed, before remembering that it had been buried into an Endermen who had disappeared from whatever reality this cursed realm possessed, sword and all. Despair begun to fall about her as the Ender men kicked her down once more, intent on stopping her movement once and for all.

As the bodies continue to fade and elude from her, more start to attack her from odd angles, swinger at her from the side and above as they continue their intricate attacks of quick blows and feints, before retreating once more. Slowly the fatigue wore her down, her swings becoming less full, her sword digging in more against her opponents. Her sword swung in a wide arc, catching an endermen in the arm, his scarred form catching the sword in its flesh. It cocked it's head at one side, the purple glow of it's eyes starring at the wound she had causer, before it twisted it's arm, breaking the blade. It stared her directly in the face, a horrendous screech half animalistic, half static ruptured forth into the physical world, just as her torch went out completely, leaving her to be awash in it's purple glow, surrounded by darkness for as far as she couldn't see.

Claire screams in pain. "Help! Help me!" she shouts. She tries to kick the Enderman away.

Cassie stares at the enderman. She cocks her head too. Upon hearing Claire's screams she tries to run toward the sound.

[Thaedael]

As if given an order both Endermen pick up the women in unison, hefting them over their shoulder's before tearing a fabric through reality. Travelling through darkness, darker than the area they had been in before, they continued to travel by unknown means, as thoughts, concepts, and the universe all became one nauseating experience. The two girls pass out, only to wake up in a cell, the rooms of it made with dark bricks. Thaedael was chained to a wall, his body still bloodied and wounded.

Claire groans. "Ugh. Where am I? Thae? Is that you?" she asks. She rubs her head and looks around.

Cassie pukes in a corner and takes a look around at where she's at. "Ugh... please don't tell me this is a prison." Cassie says. She looks over at Thae "Oh my god! Are you ok?" Cassie asks rushing over to check if he was alive or dead.

[Thaedael]

A small chuckle filled the room as Thaedael lashed against the bindings, the heavy chains rattling about the room. "Glad to see you ladies made it to captivity in one piece." he said with a raspy voice, his face pulled in pain. From the open wounds flowed not blood, but the darkness that had envelopped them previously, his one wounded eye glowing with a hint of purple as he beheld them from where he was chained.

Cassie pushes Claire back. "Get back! Something has tainted him!" Cassie warns Claire to stay back

[Thaedael]

He shook his head side to side, the darkness gathering around him in a shroud. "Ah, it all makes sense now..." he stated, his single purple eye showering particles about his bound form. "Now I know why they have avoided me, maybe afraid of what I have become, or what I will become". He let out a scream of rage, thrashing against the metal restraingts, his wrists darkening from the bruises forming along them.

Cassie moves over to Thaedael. "This darkness is just an illusion! Snap out of it!" Cassie says to thaedael

Claire's eyes widen. "Thae? Are you okay?" she asks. She tries to back away form him.

[Thaedael]

"All an illusion?" he says, cocking his head to one side, sparks of purple immaterium splashing against the floor as his eyes traced her movements in the darkness of the cell. He ignored Claire as he pushed into Cassie's train of thought, "Who is to say what is real? Did I not already die and this is all a dream? Or am I merely just now delirious and on the edge of death?" he said, slumping down onto the floor, both arms held apart by the shackles as if he were crucified.

Cassie looks at Thaedael. "Or you've been possessed. You're already dead but this spirit inside of you is the only thing that keeps you on the plain of life and not buried under." Cassie says

[Thaedael]

"Shamanic are we?" he said with spite in his voice. "I feel like it is me, I want to say it is me, for why wouldn't it be me?" he said leaning forward. "What is and Identity, who am I, who are you?".

"We are all human but, sometimes the universe takes that a step further and presents us something that can control us. Something that disguises itself. Something that we don't know what exactly it is. This is exactly the thing you are now. Something that can end universes or something that the universe takes pity on." Cassie says

[Thaedael]

He raised his chin to look defiantly into her eyes, the reflection of his singular glowing eye catching him off guard. "Just who are you? You call me the priest, yet here you are trying to make sense of the world as we know it, in a realm not dictated by logic? Now that I see your face clearly, I do not remember drafting you from the guild, and considering the amount of soldiers that were drafter, is it mere coincidence you alone survived?"

He stopped to pant, his breath coming shorter as he struggled to piece it together. "This was supposed to be the way to the beginning of all, the mysteries of the universe."

Claire stares at Thaedael. "Thae? Are you okay? What's going on? Why are you acting like this?" she asks. She tries to get free from anything that was restraining her. "Thae. Please help us out. After that we'll help you." she says.

"Heh. It is you. Only a person like you would remember thoughts like that." Cassie says. She seemed satisfied with thaedael's answer

[Thaedael]

He shifted his head to look at Claire, his long hair flowing off his brow over the cut eye, a smile playing across his face. "I must be dead, never thought I would see you again" he muttered to himself under his breath. "Though how am I to help you? I too am bound by the wrist" he shakes his head as if to indicate that his bruised wrists were the fruits of his effort. "Besides, help me with what? The shaman over there believes me to be having an illusion, to be anything but myself. Maybe you could put me out of my own misery, cleave this eye from my head?" he said with disgust.
