Lump of Tamahagane
The world had distorted, fading in and out of colors, swirls forming across the very reality of his world. His head swam in the weightless sensations of pain, slowly his vision returning to normal. She definitely could hit hard, though why he deserved so brutal a hit he was unsure. It was not worth the effort, walking all the way from the village, through the lakes, waterfalls, hotsprings, and mountain side to have gotten hit on the head by so crude a woman. That was one he decided to be wary of in future engagements. He took out the lump of metal he had in his pocket, slowly revealing it from it's silken bag. All he wanted was to make something, to remind himself that he was useful for something beyond messing up with the spirits surrounding him. He eyed his pocket, checking his funds, he wanted nothing more than to have a cup of tea and to relax.
He left behind the smell of sulfur, and the scenes of red mountain-scapes to head back to the village. At the very least the people of the town seemed content to interact with him and have fun, much to his liking. Perhaps he would run into Shiro again, one of the few guys he had met on this journey by name. He felt a ping of regret at having him ditched him so easily for the promise of a romantic setting with Nema, only to get his lip gouged out, blood sipped upon.
Perhaps it wouldn't be a bad thing to take a day off from chasing the women of this world after-all. Before long he arrived below through the great wooden entrance of the village, the archway ringing with the sound of wind chimes once more.
