And so he did. But yeah, the refugees were all safely in the auditormium and looked around rather scared. Being tribelings and all, they weren't exactly used to buildings of this size, especially not one with a huge roof like this one to enhance the sound of the speaker. They cluttered together and some of them even hugged each other and cried, and all of them looked around with a sense of hopelessness.
Suraru had fixed some bread and fish to be handed out, as well as sacks of clean, cold drinking water. The guards nodded in approval, as they saw the refugees quickly devour the food and drink. "Maybe you could climb up the stage and calm them down, sir?" One of the guards asked Suraru.
Martrim laughed, and beckoned him closer. "King Ahriman said you were his champion, and i simply couldn't wait to meet whoever he had chosen, especially this quickly. So tell me a little about yourself, and why you think you've been chosen by his grace" He smiled.
Rather quick, the old servant returned, bringing with her a platter with food with a big silver bowl placed on top of it to keep it warm. There was also a small teapot with some glasses, and a little cup of honey. "I've brought you your food, miss" She smiled at the door. "Would you like to eat here, or would you prefer to do so somewhere else? Outside, in the gardens, or somewhere in the castle with more people around?"
