[Lynxy]

Monkia curses again as she sets the door haphazerdly in it's frame and steps out to the street. She hadn't meant to pull quite that hard, and now she was going to have to hire someone to fix it. Wonderful. She shook her head in frustration and adjusted the strap over her shoulder as she started down the street to go figure out what the hell was happening. She thought about knocking on one of her neighbors doors, but if it turned out to be before sunup that would be rude, so she headed toward the town center were she knew there would be at least a few guards awake at any hour that she could ask.

[Motoko]

Kasidra would sit near Janeei shaking her head at Garian before suddenly spinning around shaking her fist at Suzu "you get my sister killed and hell won't be the worst thing that could happen scum." She would mutter, seeing that everyone else had moved out without her she would follow janeei since you know thats what she would have done.....because stone cold said so.

[That_One_Guy]

Seeing as how it was just him and Rhialla now, Garian sighed and sat down beside her, sword in front of him, stabbed into the ground, "So, you going to go with your friend or sister, or we going to wait for someone to come back before exploring more of this place ourselves? He asked her and smiled.

[TCELESBHSUP]

"... Going with Suzu..." Rhialla sighed lightly, seating herself slowly and curling inwards. She needed to calm down, like Suzu said. Recover her wits. She needn't let her own problems cloud her mind when there were possibly people to help. Slow, deep breaths... Soft prayers to Sarenrae... These were her only real calming techniques that didn't involve treating a person's injuries. After about a half minute of Suzu being gone, she would stand back up, eye shutting and another deep breath being taken in. "... C'mon, let's go catch up with her."

The Aasimar still sounded utterly depressed, but she was staying strong. Making sure her gear was in check, she'd allow her donkey to stay and rest before jogging after her friend, armour clinking.

[That_One_Guy]

Garian nodded, staying up and smiled at her, "Hey, don't be down so much. Just remember that you got people here for you, alright?" He said and put a hand on her shoulder, "Everyone has an argument with their siblings, just be glad that she cares for you." He told her and then looked to where Suzu was, "Come on, let's go catch up to your friend." He said and followed behind her to guard (and look at) her rear.

[Taria]

Rhialla and Garian walk over to the general store and look in on Suzu sifting through a heavily, ransacked building. She starts overturning every container and pile of rubble in an attempt to thoroughly investigate.

Meanwhile Kal heads towards the center of the town and sees the facade of what appears to be a grandiose mansion. (perception check) The building closest to her seem like they're intended for public use. In fact, that purple one right there says "Inn".

Janeei turns to the left and spots a thin crevice between the building."We could squeeze through there." She mentions with intent and begins heading in that direction.

Monika continues casually strolling down the walkway, noticing nothing out of the ordinary. (perception check)

Naturally, seeing her friend investigating... Rhialla would move in to assist after knocking on the door frame. "I'm feeling better, Suzu..." She quietly said, so that she might put her friend at ease. She didn't really sound much better, but it was enough so that she could actually function. She at least appreciated Garian staying behind with her, even if she personally thought that he should've gone with Suzu in case something bad had happened.

[Goryokaku]

Kal took a mental note of the inn, she would probably check there after looking into this mansion the place seemed a little to be upper nobility in sense of the town so she could probably find clues as to what happened to the town in there, "Hmmm, Mansions do seem more my style, come Celebrilith let's have a nosey around."

[MiscChaos]

Pausing briefly from her search, Suzu perks up when she hears her friend come in and speak to her. She personally doesn't think Rhialla sounds better, but calling her friend on it wouldn't do anyone any good. So she just smiles and says, "Better's good. But we can do better than that! We'll work on it." energetically, trying to inject some cheer into her friend. Then she goes back to pawing through everything she can get her hands on, keeping an occasional eye on Rhialla to keep from worrying. She kind of wants to know what the relationship between her friend and her friend's... demonic counterpart (she still doesn't deserve the title of "sister in Suzu's book), but she gets the feeling speaking of the other woman right now would be a bad idea. So instead she says, "Hey, you know you're like family to me, right?"

[That_One_Guy]

Garian stayed on guard, not really good at searching through things, though he'd try if they asked him to, looking around he asked, "So, Suzu, did you find anything while you were here?"

[TCELESBHSUP]

A tiny smile spread across Rhialla's lips at her friend's enthusiasm- Suzu could always pick her up when she was down, no matter what. A slow sigh escaped her as she stuck close to the bard, partially distracted by... Well, her thoughts and her feelings. Kasidra was so harsh at times... She knew her sister wanted to protect her, to make sure she was safe, but... She went about it entirely the wrong way, denouncing Rhialla's own friends and faith. How cruel she was to do such things! "I-" Garian spoke, and the Aasimar fell silent once more.

Their work was more important at present, really.

Kasidra would nod in response to Jabeei, following after with a soft sigh "Lead the way. You know the area more then I do miss." she says softly glancing around the deserted area...The darkness felt much nicer then the desert so that was a plus, then again her eyes certainly helped her out in this situation.

[Lynxy]

Monika continues down the road, put a little at ease by the lack of other people. If no one else was up, it meant that it really was the early morning. Still, things seemed a little odd, she couldn't quite put her finger on what it was, so she continued on. It wasn't like she was going to be able to go back to bed if she went home anyway, so might as well see who was still up to have a chat with.

As Kal approaches the mansion, she can't help but hear a quiet sobbing coming from far away in the direction of the mansion. Her and Cere approach more closely and stand before the door. Should she try stepping inside or calling out for the others, decisions decisions. Nearby Monika can hear the sounds of footsteps coming from around the corner. Seems like she was right to guess someone was awake and patrolling after all.

Janeei walks up to the tight passageway between the buildings and takes a good look around through the crack. "Looks all clear." She murmurs back to Kas, smiling a bit. "This is somewhat entertaining."

With Rhialla pitching in, the progress of searching the general store will take considerably less time. (Roll perception both of ya guys)

Kasidra would nod softly, glancing back towards her sisters group before following after Janeei her eyes tracking around the area as she would follow along "I suppose some might find a place like this creepy...." she would say, of course she wasn't creeped out by the darkness and silence and emptiness...She really preferred it this way if it was filled with light and people it'd only drudge up bad memories

Garian watched the two search through the store but more or less continued his watch, all the while sighing in frustration that he hadn't had any sex since the Earth Elemental, but he'll man up and wait until the time was right before makin his move one way or another.

Rhialla quietly conversed with Suzu as they searched, her eyes sharp in the darkness. After all, she was of celestial blood! Her eyes could pierce the deepest darkness, practically. "... Thank you for... Y'know..." The Aasimar lightly mumbled to Suzu when they next passed, leaning to give her a soft kiss on the cheek. A tiny bit too close to the lips, but that could be excused. She didn't intend it- after all, it was dark and her friend was still moving around all the while! "For being here..."

[MiscChaos]

Suzu's searching is a bit more clumsy since she has to rely on the light provided by her spell to see anything. Still, she doesn't have to see much in order to see her friend's actions and even less to feel them. "Any time, Rhialla." She says, pulling her friend into a light hug before going back to her search. "Once we've got some flexible downtime, we should really hash this out some more, maybe even try to talk... that woman into seeing just... how clumsy she was being with her words." Suzu has to stop to think about what she wants to say next several times, but she thinks she got the point across. She's there for her friend, no matter what she has to do, even talking to someone she absolutely detests.

[Lynxy]

Monika could clearly hear somebody up ahead, so she continued on. No longer feeling the need to hurry, she continued her pace to the end of the street, aiming to cut the corner of the yard at the end as she often did.

"My sister... Well..." Rhialla let out a slow sigh again. Just bringing up Kasidra tugged at her heartstrings, it seemed. "She... She means well, she's just... She's..." She couldn't explain it. She didn't want to explain it. Why would she want to talk about that? She didn't want to declare her beloved sister as 'evil' or anything of the sort, even if she was demon-kin. No matter what, Kasidra was still her sister. "We'll talk to her when we've made sure the village is safe and whatever is causing this is over..."
