The Familiar's fountain of black blood is satisfying at first, but then Victor notices how it got his clothes all sticky and discolored. Damn...that's going to be a pain to clean out... he thinks to himself, recalling how blood can be hard to wash out of fabrics from a few of his messier guard-for-hire jobs.
However, Victor doesn't have time to contemplate that, as there's still two Familiars to deal with, and they're not likely to fall for the same trick twice. However, he has an idea...
Quickly discerning which of the two Familiars will be in striking range first, Victor sidesteps around it once up close (pick a random one if they're at the same pace), then circles to its rear flank, and thrusts his sword forward, aiming to pierce its back. If that's successful, he'll fire a Shippu Taiho blast at the other Familiar, using the first one's body as something of a meat-shield. Should the initial stab fail, he will instead transition to a side-slashing attack in whichever direction it dodges, while simultaneously launching a quick-charged vacuum-blade at the second foe. In battle against superior numbers, planning ahead is key.
