The scene with the donkey made her chuckle a littl but still she didn't like the fact that the kitsune was knocked out cold by the other women but for now it wasn't the most biggest of concerns. with a deep breath she walked into the cave with her bow in one hand and a arrow locked onto the bow with the other hand. she and Kal would be on point, using their eyes to see better than any of the others, leaving the fightters to the monsters and the others to make sure we were lit up nicely and keeping track of our exit. still she had fears of what was ahead but if they could safe the villages and just head back soon for a belly full of food she'd be happy.

"shss.. try and be as quiet as possible also.. we want some kind of element of suprise even is we're visually compromised"

Turning her attention back towards her mule... Kathryn's expression turned from one of stoicism to immediate confusion. And irritation. Grand- so that's what those lumps were. She hadn't been able to get anyone in the past town to check on the thing, and now this... This was a thing. "Oh for fuck..." A hand came up to cover Kathryn's eyes, more or less just... Facepalming for the time being. "How in the name of everything holy does a donkey sprout tentacles?!" Every single god had forsaken her apparently. Except one. Probably the one that part of the group worshiped for some reason or another. This was definitely the low point of her fledgling career as a mercenary. The absolute lowest to date. And it looked like it was going to get worse.

"I'm beginning to get the distinct feeling that this job's going to go even further downhill than it already has..."

Sasha nods his thanks, taking the lantern "Thank you mi'lady, We sh-..." He stares at the donkey just as confused as everyone else, but seeing as it was still its docile self he quickly shook himself free of the confusion "I'll take up the rear..." he mumbled falling back to the rear of the group, It would be easier if he was holding up the rear....less likely to fuck up again right? He would draw his daggers just to be on the safe side, absently twirling the blades as he sulked, listening to the elf for a moment "yes element of surprise, while we're lit up like uh....Something Medival?"

Drak having already cast his light spells he began to follow the others into the cave. Viper's Fang drawn and ready.

Camilla stepped in with the party behind the warriors and drew her sword. She held it aloft in her right hand softly saying "Gar Yol" right before bright flames engulfed the blade, providing the same light as a torch. She kept a piece of chalk handy in her belt and would mark a path to the exit every time the party had to choose paths.

Kal had waited for a little bit after explaining her idea nobody seemed to question it, accept or turn it down, so she entered the cave first with Ol'gerr, waiting on the others to enter and provide light before moving on. Kal moved cautiously down the corridor looking for anything that could be dangerous to the party, the change from natural cave to the man-made corridor mean't that the chances for traps were likely to be higher.

Traveling deep into a cave seemed natural to Praedy... It felt nice. She was never afraid of the dark, and the damp moisture felt good on her skin. Her body slowly undulates, massaging against Marissa as she collects falling droplets off of stalactite. "I like it here." She states calmly, her head popping out of Marissa's chest.

[Meep Meepersons]

Everyone: The tunnel widens and get taller as you get deeper into the darkness. You already can no longer see the exit behind you and are now left with no way to tell what time it is, or how much time has passed. The floor and walls seem to be much damper, and if you look up, the darkness exceeds the range of your lights. This gives you the fear of a possible attack from above. The walls on either side are still pretty close together. You'd only be able to fit maybe three of you shoulder to shoulder. You continue to walk, nothing seeming to stop you, then a door comes into view.

glances around hearing the sound of small footsteps behind him, tensing up as he glances around trying to locate the source, he gives a low warning whistle hoping to get everyone's attention As he holds up his hand telling them to stop before pointing behind him. He didn't want to make too much noise lest they startle who or whatever was following them , he glances behind him, pointing to the elves, motioning them towards the darkness as their eye site was far better then his.

This place was quite dark and creepy, the blood on the floor was unsettling but she just put it down to some unlucky victim that must've been dragged down here. when they reached the doorway she gave a sft sigh of relief hoping that what ever was on the side was a bit more roomier, this tight sqeaze was horrible and would make the most claustaphobic person scream in fright. Ol'gerr was about to check the lone door unsure of what was inside but when Sasha whistled, her head cocked around to see what was up. When she saw her point to her and kal she nodded and slowly slipped past all the other adventurers, bow raised up as she reached Sasha's side. with a finger to her lips she shss'd the others before moving up, squinting her eyes to try and see what was following behind them.

Anyone Watching: Suddenly, something very small comes flying in from the darkness! It nails Ol'Gerr in the face! It's!? A gold piece? The sound of a gold piece hitting the floor resounds within the hall.

Kitty: Just after the gold piece hits you square in the forehead, right between the eyes, you notice a pair of eyes in the darkness. They remind you of cats eyes, the way the glint from the light. They are in moving and are fairly low to the ground, no higher then where you estimate the half-ling to stand. Your first guess is some kind of animal, but then you remember getting hit in the face with a gold piece...how demeaning. What ever it is it just stays at the edge of the darkness, not entering the light. The eyes are not always there, as they only appear when the light strikes them just right.

Glances towards ol'gerr as the coin flies nailing the elf in the forhead. He cocked his head to the side and bends down to examine the coin. "What do you think it is?" he would say while investigating the coin to see if it was just a normal gold coin or not. "who the hell throws gold anyway?"

she winced as the gold coin hit her right between her eyes, quickly placing her hand to her head with a shocked expression. she looked down to where the peice landed and tilted her head curiously but annoyed

"what.. in the goddess name is.."

Her eyes moved up to see the eyes moving through the darkness and with a quick protective gesture she warned everyone behind her to head to the door just incase it was gonna attack. If it did at least she'd be in the way of it what ever it was. Close inspection saw cat like eyes but why would a feral animal chuck a gold coin at her in the first place wouldn't it just attack her. she lifted her bow once again and aimed down the arrow, aiming right between the eyes of the creature but this was quite hard due to them dissapearing and reapearing. with a quick glance over her shoulder she made sure the others stayed away before looking back to the creature

"who the hell is there! show your self., I mean it.. I'll fire!"

Glancing back, Kathryn would blink, setting her torch down and drawing her sword. The magical flame upon it would continue to burn as brightly as ever, serving as something of an area for the group to easily stand amidst the darkness even with all of the light sources already available. "Hmm?" She found herself very, very confused by the fact that a gold piece had flown in and struck one of the group in the head, frowning and stepping in closer. And then the shouting began. Even with Ol'gerr's glance, Kathryn couldn't simply stand back while she was behaving like this.

"What do you see?"

"just stay back will you!. we dont want to all be scrappin in this tunnel just.. go on for now will you.. just leave some light. if its dangerous at leasts one of us maaybe able to hold what ever it is back... dont argue with me okay"

She said this sincearly to her fellow group members, she knew and every should know this cave system was a little bit to squashed to fight in and people could get hurt if it was to happen. she stood her ground and looked to kathryn and then the others with a confident smile tring to make it look like she was confident in fighting this thing alone if she had too.

"just get everyone on the other side of that door"

Drak looked at everyone confused, when the male Sasha pointed behind the group he knew something was up and nodded to Skiz'zik which was a signal for the viper to go and check it out as he continued to say with the group.

"And if you can't handle it? I'm staying, Ol'gerr. If you saw something, I'm staying and helping you out." The red-haired woman said stubbornly, shifting to stand slightly in front of Ol'geer- enough to hopefully be able to intercept any hostile person or creature that tried to rush them. "Besides, if anyone's staying back, I'll do it. Probably got a better chance against whatever's back there alone than you would- no offense." She was more heavily armoured and better equipped to deal with close-range threats, after all. All she needed was a target, and she'd be able to produce some kind of result. The foe would end up dead or unconscious in very little time!

[Meep Meepersons]

dndman: As your snake reaches the edge of the darkness a small human hand shoots out from the darkness and snatches up the snake by the nape of it's head and pulls it back into the darkness. You hear a his, and a horribly dreadful feeling, your heart sinking as you hear a horrible crunching sound. You instinctively know your companion is dead as you listen, stiff with shock as the crunching continues, then stops with an audible swallowing gulp and the exhaling of tiny lunges.

Everyone: You all hear as the snake is apparently eaten.

Praedy suddenly peels herself off of Marissa's body as she sees the golden coin fly through the air. "Ooo, shiny!" She declares as she go to pick it up. The noisey sounds of eating grab her attention however and she moves closer to see what it is.

Ol'gerr despite the tank of a woman that now stood in her way moved to the right a little and kept her aim on the creatures eyes. she knew that kath was right about being stronger but would she see the creature coming like she could do. so without hesitation to moved to Kaths right flank and turned to her before speaking.

"okay you can stay but you'll need my eyes to keep and eye on the thing okay? deal?"

she smiled a little and looked over her shoulders to the others again and still motioned for them to get away just incase it got messy, Ol'gerrs fingers kept stuck on the string of her bow, she;d let go if the thing made any sudden movements. Her face disgruntled as she watched the creature grab the snake and the xounds were horrible.

"poor sn-"

Her eyes widened as she saw the goo girl move past and towards the creature and shook her head violently. she couldn't grab the girl since her goo properrties.

"stop.. come back!"
