Daniel swore under his breath, hiding in a tree to be just out of the zombie dogs reach. though a look of irritation crossing his face as he moves his backpack to a better spot, moving up higher to the tree as he knows that if he can make it to the river going through the forest he should be able to lose there scent on him. But considering the details he has heard of mutations over time he is fairly aware there may be something there if he is un-lucky. he knows he can not outrun the dogs, and ammo is a rarity to find so he simply hopes to elude them instead, carefully maneuvering through the treeline to stay off the ground as he reaches down and pulls out his m9, just because ammo is uncommon does not necessarily mean he won't use the gun if he knows for a fact he will not reach the river or if he hits a problem.

He shouted as he looked around for the larget stone he could find and threw it as hard as he could at one of the Dogs, maybe at least he could draw one of them away and give the Girl a better chance of survival but at least they weren't trying to bite and rip her to shreads.
