Alice is seriously getting annoyed by Jason's stubborn zeal. She gets a hold on his arm again, this time a bit more forcefully, and speaks with an irritated tone: "Feeling no fear is nice, but your notion to 'conquer all' has me questioning your right to lead. Have you ever considered what your subjects might think of you? Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely." Her next statement could make him an enemy, but fed up with his attitude as she is, she says it anyway: "It's that same irresponsible view of power that brings about war, anarchy, and destruction. Do you want your civilization to tear itself apart? If not, then think before you try to pull that 'muy macho' nonsense." One more arrogant statement out of Jason, and she just might sock him in the nose.

Before you leave the bridge, you notice the sun getting closer. Maybe you should assist in stopping the ship?

Jason turned to Alice surprised. No one had spoken to him this way before. "Peace" was a word use seldomly be Rivians, and the thought of NOT conquering something confused Jason even further. "But if I conquer everything, there will be no more war..." He thought out loud.

"Is that what you think?" At this point, Alice is less annoyed at Jason himself, and more at the logic he seems taught to live by. She steps in a little closer. "I've seen many other factions rise by those same ideals, and do you know what happened to them? They all fell into disaster. The smaller ones were put down by superior resistance, and the larger ones fell to rebellion or internal strife. True harmony cannot be held with force. It can only be achieved by understanding." She looks him right in the eyes with a firm, yet concerned look in her own eyes.

"The nation I watch over was founded on that core principle. We seek not to conquer enemies, but to unite people. Not to punish and enslave, but to create and harmonize. We have seen the horrors of war, and when we do fight, it is but to defend ourselves." Alice is shedding much light on her own civilization's fundamentals, in hopes that she may provide wisdom to Jason's Rivian people. War births only destruction, and spurns hatred with which to ignite future war. No matter how powerful Rivians may be, making violence such a prominent factor in their society will be their undoing.

Jason furrowed his brow. It may even look like he was on the verge of a break through... No, wait, nevermind. Jason waved his hand dismissing the idea. "Impossible. War means power, and power means control." It was very obvious now that Jason was too stubborn to change his views.

Alice is very pissed off now...she went through all that trouble to try and help Jason and his nation, and that's how he responds? Well at this point, if he wants to blindly charge into a Zurg settlement, he's earned whatever they might do to him. "Argh...So be it. You want to march to certain death, and leave your country to its own fate? Be my guest. They deserve better than a block-headed oaf like you, anyway." She turns her back on him, and lets out a harsh sigh of annoyance. If every politician of the Rivians is that ignorant, then let the bigots sort themselves out.

You guys fail and the ship burns up in the sun.

this is how you could of saved it

Remember the characters on panel 9, use panel 1 and select the familiar characters, use the spam of buttons (left of the big red button) to turn around, then use panel 9 again to set the cords. correctly back to your planet, then hit the red button (which would of popped up once you set the cords.) to activate auto pilot.

From there, one of you has to stay on the ship while the other one uses panel 1 to send the person back to the planet via the teleporters, whether it be forced or voluntary. The one sent back to the planet gets their civilization, the one who stayed gets to keep the ship to fly around the galaxy, or provide artillery strikes from orbit.

But you had to destroy the red button because it was down..... and didn't even try to decode the alien language (you didn't have to but trying would of allowed you to see connections).

No one gets the ship, a computer AI robot forces you into an escape pod and jets you back down to your planet, between your two kingdoms.

Now insults were something Jason understood well, something that got him going. "A block head? How dare you! Why, if I had my druthers I'd have your head on a stake by now!" Jason was practically shouting by now. "And it's not like your one to talk, you... You..." Again, not word for reptile "You... You scaly freak!"

Wants to play that way, does he? Alice turns back around, looking Jason in the eye with far more disgust than before. "You're right, I'm not comparable to you. I actually care about my people, whereas all you care for is causing trouble." Her hands and fore-arms cover themselves in scales, and her fingernails get sharp claw-nails extended over top of them. She knows what Jason's likely to do next, and if he does, she's ready to put him in his place.

"Not to mention that you're not the only seasoned veteran. I have bested many warriors single-handed, up to 56 upon me at once; handing a spanking out to a single spoiled brat would be no problem." For now, she tests his mettle, seeing if he has enough brain cells to preserve his remaining dignity.

"Cause TROUBLE?" Jason was more then angry now. "I brought the High Kings to their KNEES and made them BEG me to end their lives! I freed an entire NATION MYSELF! JASON ARGO DOES NOT CAUSE TROUBLE! You know what, I'll prove it to you ya freak, just cause you said that, I'm gonna prove you wrong. I WON'T crush those Zerg weaklings! Yea! How about that?!?" Jason yelled. Between his low intelligence and his rage, he didn't realize what he had done/said.

Alice can't help but stifle a laugh at Jason's response. "Well well, so you can learn. I had initially expected you to come rushing at me in anger, but it seems you do have some brains to accompany your brawn after all. Well, do what you like; at this point, what happens to you is no longer my responsibility." She does not lie in that statement, but it's another test in its own right. She wants to see how he reacts to being left on his own. Does he behave as a lone wolf, or does he accept the strength of companionship? To help his mind get working on that decision, she begins to walk away, with the appearance of moving to leave him behind.

Well I blame our failure on poor puzzle design. And poor description via the GM. As for if i'll continue on this rp or not. Is yet to be seen, because so far this RP is more fucking annoying then anything.
