Disgaea H: The Lust Rebellion

Delzia Slowly strode into the Overlord Taria's castle keeping her physique lowered and propped forward forcing her gaze to face naturally down at the ground. She uses this stance to subtly look around without actually showing her curiosity as she enters; Pulling at her clothing to cool herself off as she does. Heeding directions or signs she made her way to the recruitment office, doing her best to keep to herself as best she can and not drawn attention until she gets there and is face to face with Harold. To which she quickly stands corrects her posture leaning most of her weight on her right leg forcing her waist to jut out slightly as she does.

[Zeus Kabob]

Harold eyes the new arrival carefully. He notices her horns and wings, and remarks:
"Looks like we've got another Succubus among us. You look like a strong one. Lady Taria is currently training some of the recruits, but please follow me and I'll show you around the castle."

Harold leads Delzia through Taria's castle. About the warp room, he remarks:

"This is the warp room, where you and your comrades will be sent off to battle. Combat through the warp gate works differently than in the main world, so you'll want to have another recruit show you the ropes."

As they pass by the Rosen Queen tent:

"This is the Rosen Queen tent. This is where you equip yourself with armor and weaponry, though you'll have to pay with Hell if you want to buy something."

He then leads her to the chambers:

"These are the chambers for soldiers. Your room can be found third on the left."

Bringing her back to the entrance, Harold says:

"Lady Taria will be back later. For now, you can get yourself settled, then head down to the Rosen Queen tent to buy something. Here's 200 Hell to get yourself started."

Harold then returns to his desk in the entrance.

Delzia nods with a slight smile as Harold greets her. rushing to keep up at first before falling in pace nodding as he shows her around. "Okay. I'm sure i'll figure it out" responding in a soft voice to his remarks about the warp and it's differences" pausing a moment after he tells her her room "Third on the left. Got it." accepting the currency she dips her head and quickly makes her way to buy some equipment stretching her wings as she walks away from Harold with a swaying gait.

As she reaches the Rosen Queen tent she takes a quick look a round before laying eyes on an axe. jiggling the hell she has in her hands she spots the sneakers and blue scarf and takes them to the shopkeeper and handing over the required hells

200 - 50 - 65 - 64 = 21

Pocketing her remaining hells she quickly puts on her new sneakers before wrapping the scarf around her neck the axe to her hip. Dipping her head to the clerk she quietly makes her to her room.

Once on the battlefield, the area around you falls suddenly silent. You see Hister beside the portal calmly as if awaiting further instruction. "Mistress Taria is unable to speak to you through the bubble, but I am linked telepathically with all who remain on the battlefield." A stream of data suddenly appears over Hister's head, showing multiple stats such as HP, SP, ATK... but as soon as you no longer give the effort to focus upon it, it fades away. "I will translate what Mistress Taria says now..." The gateway succubus state in your mind as you begin to hear Taria's voice.

A Dimensional Bubble
Anamana's form appears on the battlefield next to Hister, and Taria nods her head approvingly as she looks on. "Now, as you may have noticed, Hister here does not train in conventional weapon styles like most of you... instead she uses her body as a weapon. This is because she is a monster class demon, and not a Human Demon like the rest of you. While she can never have access to the wider variety of weapon skills that you all have, she does have some interesting abilities of her own, the Magichange process." Hister's body begins to glow as her and Anamana float into the air. As the two circle around, Hister slowly bends and shapes herself at a right angle and a sharp-looking blade extends from her carapace. Hister becomes a heavy Axe within Anamana's hands and the two settle back down upon the ground. "Magichaning is a process whereby a Monster character becomes a weapon for a Human character, and as such 30% of all the monster's stats become added to the human character. This process can only be initiated by the Monster when it is adjacent to a Human, but as you would probably expect, being able to work well together is beneficial."

"Anamana retains all of her freedom of movement and mobility with these improved stats. However, Hister is still able do to make a few actions as well." Anamana's weapon glows green for a moment and 47 of Hister's health points are transfered into Anamana, maxing her health out at 357. "Once per turn magichanged monsters may choose to either max out their wielder's health points, their special points, or improve one of the duo's stats by 10%. In this state, everything between wielder and weapon is shared. Hister's special ability, Guardian, is now owned by Anamana as well. If Anamana is slain in combat, Hister will fall as well. However, Hister may choose to seperate from Anamana back onto an empty adjacent space after three turns have passed of them both being bonded together. Also, as Hister progresses and becomes stronger, those who choose to wield her will discover new abilities they can use that neither would have been able to accomplish alone. Treat your monster allies well and in return you may become a stronger fighting force together, than you ever could alone." Taria nods softly at Claravoy and she sends Mana the message that she may return to the bubble through the portal now.

Delzia
You hear a pained groan eminating from the medical station which is located adjacent to the Warp Room in which you are now standing after leaving the Rosen Queen tent. From where you are standing, you can see into the medibay where rows of sterile looking beds and several hundreds forms of medication and medical tools lie along assorted shelves. The groaning in question seems to be coming from another Succubus girl much like yourself who is holding an icepack to her head. She looks so modest for a Succubus, creatures who are normally exemplified by their predatory sexuality. You yourself have been sought at for your particular... skills, several times in the past.

Sander walked slowly towards the main gates of Overlord Taria's castle, taking his time to observe the others around him. He reassuringly touched his book, which he concealed underneath his clothing. A habit that usually increased with frequency when he were somewhere unfamiliar. He went through the gates and headed for the recruitment office. It was time to get started.

Ears perking at the noise Delzia quickly raised a brow at the slight of the strangely dressed succubus stepping closer to the creature in question. Trying to sate her curiosity she moves ever closer until she is just out of arm's reach. Fidgeting with her clothing trying to keep cool. "What happened to you?" tilting her head to the side letting her black hair fall carelessly to one side. glancing over the succubus she takes a closer look at her clothing and mumbling her jealousy under her breath at being unable to wear such.

Kal had watched with some interest as Aiya was for better terms publicly embarrsed by her mother, Kal had the general concept of what her Queen was going to expect in battle and that was don't get hit and hit everything else before it hits you into retreat. Though she kept quiet she'd been on side of one to personal demonstrations in the past and Taria wasn't known to pull her punches... ever. So she was amused when the swordswoman from earlier volunteered to go in behind Hister this was if anything informative, and Kal had nothing more really to add so she just continued to listen and watch. Watching Hister change was fun as well though the becoming an axe didn't look very helpful for Kal herself not that she would complain if she was in a situation where she needed an Axe and Hister was nearby she would never pass up anything that could improve her own power.

Draco walks quickly up the path to the castle's main gates, nerves quickening his steps as he looks at the imposing fortress in front of him. Intellectually, he's confident enough - he has no intention of second-guessing his decision to join Lady Taria's forces, and she is recruiting enough others like him that he isn't worried about being out of place - but he still can't quite quiet his emotions entirely. The amount of wealth and power represented by the Succubus Queen's castle is far beyond what he's used to dealing with - even given the traces of neglect that are starting to appear as he gets closer.

Once he's inside he makes his way to the recruitment office, arriving just as another demon is entering. From his lack of armour or weapons, Draco suspects the other demon is another mage - that, or he just hasn't had a chance to equip himself yet. That's not really an important question right now, though, and he turns his attention to the recruiter instead.

After witnessing the demonstration between Hister and Anamana - who he assumes has a nickname, considering the sheer length of her full name - Mako can't help but let out a small "hmmm" of curiosity. Hopefully, the beetle-woman can take on other forms than just an axe; preferably, a strong pair of gauntlets, should he ever need to utilize her Magichanging ability.

Already, Mako is itching to enter the training field and exercise his skills. After losing to Hister in that duel earlier, he has plenty of steam to blow off, and some practice with his Musou Ryuuken arts will provide excellent stress-relief...

In awe she watched the demonstration and just sat there, she wanted to volunteer but wasnt loud enough to be picked, but she didn't dwell and she just watched, and waited for what happened yet.

Lucien watched the tutorial on how these battles were to be fought. It was a rather convenient way of handling the issue of battles. They simply take place in a pocket dimension where the demons are free to cut loose and go nuts as they like. He liked this idea though he did wonder why Aika was sandbagged by her mother of all people. Must be some kind of weird metaphor he didn't get yet. In either case looking over his own stats he had to wonder how his Lust was calculated and also how in the world was damage dealt? The whole magichange process could be very awesome for him because it might give him a much better chance at grinding for precious levels rather then waiting until something had one hit point left so he could whack it. He really hated that sometimes so maybe this would be a good alternative for that. Maybe he could work something out between him and Aika for that? Anyway what was next for the in game tutorial?

Harold looks up as two slight figures enter his office.

"I see we've got a couple of mages. I could feel you both approach the castle, your powers seem to be greater than you can control. I hope you can find some kindred mages to train you in the arcane arts and in mystical discipline."

Harold then stands and walks past them to the door.

"Lady Taria's gone right now, so I'll be showing you around the castle so that you can get yourself settled until she returns. This castle will be your residence from now until you leave our stead."

Harold leads them to the Warp Room, remarking:

"This is the warp room. It uses a translocation spell to teleport soldiers to various dimensions. Our mages have worked out the kinks from previous methods, making this one very safe."

When they get to the Rosen Queen tent:

"This is the Rosen Queen tent, and it's where you'll be getting all of your equipment, of course at the cost of Hells.

Leading them to the halls, he tells Draco:

"Draco, your room will be the fourth on the right. You'll want to drop off your possessions there before heading to the Rosen Queen tent to get outfitted. A staff would certainly suit you well."

After that, he turns to Sander and says:

"Sander, yours will be on the other side; 4th on the left. You two might want to practice together, you seem like a good match."

Harold then turns to face both of them:

"To start you two off, here are 200 Hells for each of you. Now I'll be heading back to my office. If you have any questions, I'll be available there. By the by, you've got another guest in the building, a succubus by the name of Delzia. If you see her, you'll probably want to say hello. Getting to know everyone in your party will be important for when you head to battle together."

Harold then leaves the two to talk, returning to his office at the front.

Garian entered the castle, longsword on his back as he made his way to the recruitment office, the flyer that detailed what he heard held in his hand. His short black hair fell a bit into his red eyes as he looked around the castle, taking in details that he may need to learn once he gets employment here.

Making his way to the recruitment office, he went to the desk and looked at the person behind it, "I'm here about the job for Vassalage to the Queen?" He asked them, standing there patiently, awaiting answers, "This is the right place, correct?"

Garian:

"Yes, you've certainly come to the right place! Taria isn't here right now, so I'll give you a tour and you can settle in and wait for her to return."

Harold shows Garian the Warp Room, saying:

"This is the warp room. It's the place where Taria sends out soldiers to fight."

As they pass by the Rosen Queen tent:

"Garian, this is where you go to buy equipment using your Hells.

Proceeding to the living quarters:

"This is where you and the other soldiers will be staying. Your room is the 5th on the right. I'll be heading back to my office, so go ahead and settle in. Here's 200 Hells to buy your first equipment. Good luck!"

[Taria]

A Dimensional Bubble
Taria peers onto the battlefield dismissively as she casually floats in the air. "Well, I think I've lectured you all about the more abstract aspects of combat long enough, I think it's time you all go out and experience a fight for yourself." She turns to Denmar who has been silent up till now and asks, "General would you kindly set up a field of enemies onto the training grounds and guide these recruits through a battle? Be sure to bring up team attacks, my new lust techniques of defeating enemies, and also the importance of positioning, if you would... I must go attend to some political things in my office." Taria stand still until the floor of the bubble seems to momentarily become then and then she sinks into the ground and out of the campaign pocket.

The Rosen Queen Tent
A loud commotion of swift hands and demon magic announces the arival of new stock into the store.

Aiya suddenly takes notice of you as she continues to hold the icepack against her forehead. "Oh... Nothing really. I just sort of got... sandbagged I guess." She whimpers softly as she removes the ice pack and tenderly touches her forehead with her hand, but it seems like she's fine. Perhaps she's just got a low tolerance for pain.

[MiscChaos]

Anamana looks at her new Axe with a sense of awe. Sure, it isn't her trusty Sekai-kiri and it's an axe rather than a katana, but the sheer amount of power contained within... This Magichanging thing could be mighty useful.

"I thank you for this demonstration, Hister." she says, believing it would be rude not to communicate with her weapon since it has a will of its own. Well, she suspects Sekai-kiri does sometimes, but she can actually interact with Hister. "Do you wish to revert to your own form? Or could I use you for the rest of the demonstration?"

[Zeus Kabob]

Denmar nods to Taria: "Haha! Finally we get to the fun part! All right everyone, you'll have to enter the battlefield now. After each person enters, please step off the warp platform. Once you're all on the battlefield, I'll be telling you about combat, then spawning some training dummies."

[Taria]

Hister
Weapon form Hister, stirs lightly as she detaches herself from Anamana and moves to stand by her side. "I sense another presence you would prefer to be with instead." She murmurs softly as she casually stretches out her arms. Hister eyes Anamana's Katana with her blank, yet intellegent stare she seems to constantly observe the world in. "You will need help finding her spirit." She states mysteriously before turning to face the battlefield.

Sander looks about the recruitment office curiously. Another guy, another recruit Sander figured, was there and someone he imagined was some sort of recruitment officer. When the recruitment officer started to speak, Sander just listened attentively and kept quiet. Especially since the guy seemed quite informed. Better to just pay attention.

When the recruitment officer mentioned the possibility of someone that could teach him more, Sander got exited. This was exactly what he was looking for so when the recruitment officer went past them, to show them around, he followed eagerly.

The 200 Hell they received would certainly come in handy. Sander had never been good with money and was currently flat out broke, except the newly acquired 200 hell of course. It would be interesting to check out the Rosen Queen tent to see what was available, but knowing your allies is always important so first thing is to strike up a conversation with this other mage. "So... Draco was it? Seems we are to be neighbors. These 200 Hell will be quite handy and the Rosen Queen tent seems like the place to spend them, well at least some of them." Sander said, approaching the other mage, "and what, if I might ask, was it that drew you to this place?"

"So I've been told." She says in response to Hister's last comment, remembering the Gatekeeper's advice to bring multiple people into Sekai-kiri's Item World. It still leaves an unpleasant taste in her mouth, but disregarding sound advice is beyond stupid. "Again, I thank you for the demonstration." she says as she bows. "What's next?" she asks since she can't hear what's going on in the bubble.
