Garian laughed at this, taking his hands out of his pockets and stretched out a bit, "Alright, we'll go and check out the school library first, maybe we can find at least a clue to the key's location in there." He said with a smile.

Dax smiles abit,"Well what better place to find knowledge than a library?"

"well dax" duo said looking in the down the hall "i would say lead the way, but do we even know were to go" he looked around curiously.

He looks back towards the entrance,"Well maybe theres a map in the entrance hall. Id start there." He heads down the hallway back towards the entrance slowly motioning for the group to follow.

(Sorry I've been so inactive in this. Got busy with various other things. Let's just say that Jon introduced himself back at the entrance, but didn't say much about his background aside from "if the only way forward is to fight, I'm your man.")

Jon follows Dax's lead, pacing himself to be near the middle of the group. This way, if something were to attack them, he'd be able to assist more quickly. Along the way, he thinks to himself: "Really is haunted," the douche says..."haunted," my ass. A man with his degree of wealth and fortune could easily get some props set up for fake scares...and even if any real danger were to come up, it's nothing a solid strategic effort can't deal with. These folks can have the bulk of the money, but if it comes to punching the rich prick's lights out, I call dibs. Yeah, he's not here for just the money...

Claire giggles. "Yeah, maybe we tilt a book back and we get sent into another room. Or maybe there's a button in one of the books." she says before laughing harder. She calms down and says "Well, we should go. Wait, before we even do that, should we try the door first? Maybe it's not locked, maybe it's just closed."

Garian nodded at Claire, "Yes, the door is locked, we tried it already." He told her, putting a hand on her shoulder, "Now, lets get going before bad things happen to us whilst we wait here." He said and then began moving towards the stairs.

Claire follows Garian. "Really? Must've missed it, or forgot." she says. She looks around "Uh, you think there's a map of this place somewhere?" Claire asks.

Dax smiles at Claire finding her sense of humor a welcome addition to the otherwise dreary porspects,"Looking for one now Claire! I think theres one in the entry way."

The group was still standing in the doorway in the massive hall, after trying the door- which didn't budge an inch. even throwing yourself against it full force wouldn't work, you all figure. And thus you find yourself in the big entrance, with various options; to go left, to go right, up the stairs and through the hallway. there is something shimmering up the stairs though, and by the look of it it might just be the map you guys are looking for. the two stairs, adorned with various carvings in the solid oak wood and dressed with a red carpet. the two stairs began at both sides of the hallway leading in deeper, and met on either side of the first floor which, quite spaciously, had a balcony to allow people from the first floor to look down at the entrance. the shimmering and reflecting thing sits just on the wall behind both stairs.

Dax spies the shimmering thing at the top of the stairs,"Well looky here dudesand dudettes I thinks thats our map!" He says pointing up at the shimmering wall.

Duo looked around seeing the shimmering object "ohhhhh shiny" he said slowly going up the stairs. Duo looked at the others wondering how many people will follow hi. hoping none so he could nab anything small.

Garian follows Duo up, looking around as he did. He didn't want to be caught off guard at any time in case this place was used by gangsters or anything of the like.

Jason kept to himself, eyeing his team mates. He figure'd it would be better to know how his team worked and interacted, in case something should happen. Plus too, if shit got as real as the note suggested, it would be good to know who Jason could trust.

Following everyone up the stairs to the shiny object, Jason staid at the back of the pack. He was very cautious by nature, and hunting with his dad every weekend didn't help matters. What if it was a trap up the stairs? What if it's some deadly machine? Jason wasn't going to be in the front of the group and find out first hand.
