Viper shook her head. "Remind me to send that one in first. How did you even get to pilot a mech?" she shakes her head disgusted. "and look at me like that again you'll eat through a straw."

Jason was loving this, and the stupid grin he had plastered on his face said so. He covered his eyes with one hand as a joke. "Mental note, no looking" He said out loud. "Any other rules I need to remember, beautiful?"

Viper rolled her eyes dismissing him. "Tell me I'm not dealing with him throughout this entire thing."

Duo looked at the woman "you must be the lance leader eh" he said then he heard the pilot she was arguing with "might wanna show her a little respect. i've seen some lance commanders shoot their lance mates. though that guy deserved and it was what won the battle" he then noticed he was rambling and turned back to woman "duo maxwell at your service ma'am"

Viper looked at Duo with a faint smile. She hadn't thought she was the lance leader but if couldn't hurt unless the Marshal already had someone in mind for the job. "Nice to meet you I'm Knight Viper. I'd like a list of your mechs and their load out." She turned back to the Marshal hoping for him to clarify the lance leadership.

"well i pilot a marauder with a standard loadout; an Autocannon 5, twin Particle projector cannons, and twin medium lasers i specialize in long range combat" duo said proudly

Jason smiled at Viper. "Well hey now whats wrong with me? I haven't even gotten your name yet, and your already brushing me off!" He then turned to Duo. "A Marauder, huh? Well I prefer the Rifleman myself, but I suppose we're a lot a like." He said, giving Duo a slap on the back, but not nearly as hard as the one he gave the Marshall.

Duo looked at the pilot slapping his back "then you and i will just have to see who is the better shot"

Viper shook her head. "I don't remember you giving me yours mercenary. Now the load out of your riflemen?" She stately flatly if she was going to work with him she was going to make sure he did as he was told.

Jason was quite pleased with himself. He liked stirring up trouble, even if he knew it would get him in trouble. "How 'bout a trade then? My loadout for the beautiful ladies name?"

"i'm Knight Viper. And you'll address me as either viper of Knight viper from this point on." She spoke almost as if scolding a child.

Duo crosses his arms leaning against the wall "a rifleman has two autocannon 5s, two large lasers and two medium lasers. built for anti-aircraft" he said with a smirk willing to spoil fun

Jason grabbed Viper's hand, kissed it once, and took and incredibly deep, mock bow. "Viper! I should have known a pretty lady would have such a pretty name. I'm Jason, beau- uh, Viper." He then turned to Duo. "Very smart, buddy boy. But that was my job!"

Viper looked at Duo. "I was checking to see if he modified the load out." She pulled her hand from his kiss. "Don't do that again."

Duo smirked "gotta know the mechs loadouts to know what works best. also from the look in vipers eyes you might wanna watch yourself"

"Why, the Viper gonna bite?" Jason joked. "I'm kidding of course, Viper. Nope, no modifications, Duo's got it right. Hey, whats the matter with all you's? Sounds like we at a funeral or something. Lighten up!" He added, laughing and grinning like an idiot.

"cuz battles like this arent like simulations" Duo said sternly "simulations are predictable, real pilots are not. you have to figure out thier movements and tactics and react before they can get you"

"Because there's four of us and we're facing a complete star of Clanners that's five ommi mechs and we have no idea what class they are." Viper said sternly.

"Shoot kid, you think I was born yesterday?" Jason turned to Duo and said. He turned his attention back to Viper. "Aw, they can't be that tough... Just pop some shots in 'em, and they'll be done for we know it!"

Duo smirked at viper "well we better come up with some sort of formation then before we deploy" he said as he turned jason "youve not went against clanners in omni-mechs have you?"
