Spoiler (click to show/hide):
Jeez, you have some serious fucking issues, Garian!. (being a complete lunatic, Garian -5 alignment) By this time, you've attracted a few curious searches from some nearby people, who having dealt with the immediate danger are now double checking on their loved ones. Fortunately, there are no civilian losses and only a few injuries of varying degrees on the pro-Angels' sides.
The mature looking female Angel, who had just literally vaporized an entire stack of weapons by weaving a spell over it finds her way back behind the tent and looks upon the scene with hard distaste having heard Garian's words. She sees the tied up girl screaming through her gag and immediately draws her elaborate looking blade once Garian makes a move to try and cut her apart.
"Stay still, demon spawn!" she commands loudly. At her words, about six armored mortal warriors (three humans, two elves, a dwarf and a tiny nymph) appear from around the corner and look at what you're doing, exchanging looks and whispers and clutching their weapons.
"What in the sake of the goddess do you believe to gain from this? You are threatening murder of an unarmed woman." she demands of Garian, shooting a hard stare at Claire as well. It was obvious she wasn't going anywhere either.
Better watch what you say, you two. She seems to believe you're secretly affiliated with the demons.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):
One might wonder how you two got it into your heads how you could take out a dragon with only a bow and some basic magic, but I suppose you ignored their disbelief. The dragon clearly is accustomed to fighting mortal weapons, as he rapidly turns his body and moves about to protect its neck and deflect your arrows to the heavily armored parts of its hide (0 damage) while some of your shadow magic bolts do manage to stagger it (100 damage) at the cost of making you start to feel rapidly exhausted at your magic use.
Talkea seems more focused on trying to avoid getting killed by its repeated frost breath attacks (which can easily freeze someone solid) than shooting much.
Inhaling deeply, the dragon finally turns its attention back to you and unleashes a massive, wide cone of frost breath that is going to take you out easily if you don't move out of the way. It's probably going to freeze the wagon no matter what, though...maybe fighting it wasn't such a good idea.
Flim - 250/250 HP (about to get encased in ice if he doesn't move)
Flam - 250/250 HP (very fatigued from magic use and about to get frozen like an ice cube)
Talkea - 200/200 HP (regretting her decision to accompany you)
Frost Dragon - 14650/15000 HP (doesn't look slowed down at all by your attacks)

Spoiler (click to show/hide):
Cier tries to contain his amusement at your naivete. For the sake of keeping your opinion of him intact, though, he doesn't do much more than nod in acknowledgement as he leads you towards the town square, where numerous demons and darkened mortals hang out chatting to each other and otherwise debating ways to murder, screw or capture Angels and their friends. The massive and elaborate inn next to the tiny town hall (which as the castle is administrated by the Margrave, is really for the high ranking Demon officers to hang out in and go over war plans) seems to be the center of attention for the most part. Heads turn to look at you when the chalice comes near, though. They can smell the Soul Essence from a mile away.
"A long time ago, the Angels found a way to convert small amounts of it into a material form... Cier went on to explain, "They'd usually trust their best warriors with it, but we'd just swarm them and then have some succubi or incubi screw them for days on end. Took them a few centuries, but the Angels figured out it was easier to lock a bunch of liquid Soul Essence in a vault than to have honeypots of it walking around in the open. The chalice you hold now is one of the few we managed to get our hands on, buuuuttttt...that bandit chief back at the fort got ahold of it. I was just taking it back." he shrugged.
Ya, and I was just trying to help. But he ran off without me. I should have swallowed him whole for that. you hear Nil say in your head with a snort. Seems she's been listening in.
And to answer your earlier question, a Margrave is one of the Demonic Archlord's generals. Margrave Xierantal runs TSC. she adds briefly. You notice a connection in "Cier" and "Xierental" almost immediately. Perhaps they're related.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):
Thank you! You seem quite the warrior... Talphalos remarks happily. You are acutely aware she's looking you up and down. What's with this beast? Is she checking you out?
Tal's one weakness was always men. Her mind is still young. the bird Angel in your head explains.
One moment, I'd like to get a closer look at you...did anyone ever tell you that you taste like battle? Talphalos says, her tail snapping against the ground.
Before you can answer, Tal's entire body starts to light up with a swishing white mist from the inside of which seems to radiate a golden light. It envelops her entire form in two seconds flat and she seems to morph into an incomprehensible mass of mist. Suddenly, there's a flash of light and when you open your eyes, the dragon's...gone?
No, not gone. She merely transformed. Looking ahead of you, you're met with a fairly embarrassing sight.
There's a curvaceous looking girl standing in front of you, with long, shimmering snow white hair falling down to her waist, Angelic blue eyes, gentle but determined facial features, two golden horns curling from her forehead to around her head, above her ears and tapering into sharp tips and probably most noticeably her large D-cup breasts which are supported by a skimpy looking armored bikini top that is her only topwear, besides the narrow black cape clasped around her neck falling down her back. On her legs, a revealing gold-and-white armored bikini bottom covered modestly by a narrow black breech cloth, and on her feet a pair of slender platemail boots that go all the way up to her knees. Similarly, on her hands sleek, fingerless plate gauntlets that run up to her elbows. Each piece accentuates her lithe and curvy form quite well and it's hard not to stare.
She places a hand casually on her hip.
"I'm Talphalos, the Angelic Dragon. But you can call me Tal." she introduces herself with a little smile, walking up to you.
"So, em...nobody really wanders. What are you looking for? I mean...in life." she questions you awkwardly. You know right off the bat she doesn't talk to many humans...but at least she doesn't look nearly as intimidating now.
Her mortal form is quite pleasing. the bird Angel states out of nowhere.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):
Civen'cis's face crumples with a mix of childish irritation, but then explodes with happy amusement.
"Whaaaaaaat? Don't be so glum! I've got TONS OF AMAZING DEALS!" she responds, throwing her arms up into the air as if she's won the lottery if she can get you to make a purchase.
"Hmm...you look very grimdark. Your blades are not nearly as practical as they could be, you know! Not enough magic on them, but I've got JUST THE THING!" Civen'cis says, a small, rolled up magical scroll in a convenient tubing appearing in the air beside her.
"This scroll will make your blades DAZZLE WITH BRILLIANCE! It uses very rare Corrupted Light magic to make them flash and glow and dazzle with white, black and red so your enemies can't look away! But moooreee importantly, it's so hard to look at they won't even know what direction your blades ARE EVEN FACING! But don't worry, it DOESN'T AFFECT YOU AT ALL!" Civen'cis gives her sales pitch. (Scroll of Dazzling Blades, Cost: 150 SE)
Civen'cis then makes a fairly curious item appear in the shadowy air next to the scroll. It's a narrow black leather collar to be fit around the neck studded with dark gems cut into the shapes of spikes, and it exudes magical energy.
"I'll say right off the bat this thing's great for killing and BDSM play! Just wearing this thing will imbue you with the power of a PLAGUE HYDRA! Inhale deeply and exhale with it on, and you'll BREATH TOXIC FLAME! Not only does it burn, it addles the mind and makes people real sick! Breathe it all over an area and anyone that sniffs the air there will GET SICK AND VOMIT THEIR GUTS OUT! Works really well against Angels! Oh, and disclaimer: will make your breath smell a little bad!" Civen'cis gives her sales pitch for the second item. (Plague Breath Choker, Cost: 160 SE)
"Hmm...oh, I would have A LOT MORE but it looks like my DARK TELEPORTATION SPELL JUST SCREWED UP! I'll fix that later, promise! So, doooooo I have a buyer?" Civen'cis questions you. She seems quite eager and happy despite the hiccup with the spell that retrieves the items from the Underworld so she can give them to you.
