Garian + Claire -

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Jeez, you have some serious fucking issues, Garian!. (being a complete lunatic, Garian -5 alignment) By this time, you've attracted a few curious searches from some nearby people, who having dealt with the immediate danger are now double checking on their loved ones. Fortunately, there are no civilian losses and only a few injuries of varying degrees on the pro-Angels' sides.

The mature looking female Angel, who had just literally vaporized an entire stack of weapons by weaving a spell over it finds her way back behind the tent and looks upon the scene with hard distaste having heard Garian's words. She sees the tied up girl screaming through her gag and immediately draws her elaborate looking blade once Garian makes a move to try and cut her apart.

"Stay still, demon spawn!" she commands loudly. At her words, about six armored mortal warriors (three humans, two elves, a dwarf and a tiny nymph) appear from around the corner and look at what you're doing, exchanging looks and whispers and clutching their weapons.

"What in the sake of the goddess do you believe to gain from this? You are threatening murder of an unarmed woman." she demands of Garian, shooting a hard stare at Claire as well. It was obvious she wasn't going anywhere either.

Better watch what you say, you two. She seems to believe you're secretly affiliated with the demons.

Flim + Flam -

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

One might wonder how you two got it into your heads how you could take out a dragon with only a bow and some basic magic, but I suppose you ignored their disbelief. The dragon clearly is accustomed to fighting mortal weapons, as he rapidly turns his body and moves about to protect its neck and deflect your arrows to the heavily armored parts of its hide (0 damage) while some of your shadow magic bolts do manage to stagger it (100 damage) at the cost of making you start to feel rapidly exhausted at your magic use.

Talkea seems more focused on trying to avoid getting killed by its repeated frost breath attacks (which can easily freeze someone solid) than shooting much.

Inhaling deeply, the dragon finally turns its attention back to you and unleashes a massive, wide cone of frost breath that is going to take you out easily if you don't move out of the way. It's probably going to freeze the wagon no matter what, though...maybe fighting it wasn't such a good idea.

Flim - 250/250 HP (about to get encased in ice if he doesn't move)
Flam - 250/250 HP (very fatigued from magic use and about to get frozen like an ice cube)
Talkea - 200/200 HP (regretting her decision to accompany you)
Frost Dragon - 14650/15000 HP (doesn't look slowed down at all by your attacks)

Vivienne -

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Cier tries to contain his amusement at your naivete. For the sake of keeping your opinion of him intact, though, he doesn't do much more than nod in acknowledgement as he leads you towards the town square, where numerous demons and darkened mortals hang out chatting to each other and otherwise debating ways to murder, screw or capture Angels and their friends. The massive and elaborate inn next to the tiny town hall (which as the castle is administrated by the Margrave, is really for the high ranking Demon officers to hang out in and go over war plans) seems to be the center of attention for the most part. Heads turn to look at you when the chalice comes near, though. They can smell the Soul Essence from a mile away.

"A long time ago, the Angels found a way to convert small amounts of it into a material form... Cier went on to explain, "They'd usually trust their best warriors with it, but we'd just swarm them and then have some succubi or incubi screw them for days on end. Took them a few centuries, but the Angels figured out it was easier to lock a bunch of liquid Soul Essence in a vault than to have honeypots of it walking around in the open. The chalice you hold now is one of the few we managed to get our hands on, buuuuttttt...that bandit chief back at the fort got ahold of it. I was just taking it back." he shrugged.

Ya, and I was just trying to help. But he ran off without me. I should have swallowed him whole for that. you hear Nil say in your head with a snort. Seems she's been listening in.

And to answer your earlier question, a Margrave is one of the Demonic Archlord's generals. Margrave Xierantal runs TSC. she adds briefly. You notice a connection in "Cier" and "Xierental" almost immediately. Perhaps they're related.

Jered -

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Thank you! You seem quite the warrior... Talphalos remarks happily. You are acutely aware she's looking you up and down. What's with this beast? Is she checking you out?

Tal's one weakness was always men. Her mind is still young. the bird Angel in your head explains.

One moment, I'd like to get a closer look at you...did anyone ever tell you that you taste like battle? Talphalos says, her tail snapping against the ground.

Before you can answer, Tal's entire body starts to light up with a swishing white mist from the inside of which seems to radiate a golden light. It envelops her entire form in two seconds flat and she seems to morph into an incomprehensible mass of mist. Suddenly, there's a flash of light and when you open your eyes, the dragon's...gone?

No, not gone. She merely transformed. Looking ahead of you, you're met with a fairly embarrassing sight.

There's a curvaceous looking girl standing in front of you, with long, shimmering snow white hair falling down to her waist, Angelic blue eyes, gentle but determined facial features, two golden horns curling from her forehead to around her head, above her ears and tapering into sharp tips and probably most noticeably her large D-cup breasts which are supported by a skimpy looking armored bikini top that is her only topwear, besides the narrow black cape clasped around her neck falling down her back. On her legs, a revealing gold-and-white armored bikini bottom covered modestly by a narrow black breech cloth, and on her feet a pair of slender platemail boots that go all the way up to her knees. Similarly, on her hands sleek, fingerless plate gauntlets that run up to her elbows. Each piece accentuates her lithe and curvy form quite well and it's hard not to stare.

She places a hand casually on her hip.

"I'm Talphalos, the Angelic Dragon. But you can call me Tal." she introduces herself with a little smile, walking up to you.

"So, em...nobody really wanders. What are you looking for? I mean...in life." she questions you awkwardly. You know right off the bat she doesn't talk to many humans...but at least she doesn't look nearly as intimidating now.

Her mortal form is quite pleasing. the bird Angel states out of nowhere.

Razajin -

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Civen'cis's face crumples with a mix of childish irritation, but then explodes with happy amusement.

"Whaaaaaaat? Don't be so glum! I've got TONS OF AMAZING DEALS!" she responds, throwing her arms up into the air as if she's won the lottery if she can get you to make a purchase.

"Hmm...you look very grimdark. Your blades are not nearly as practical as they could be, you know! Not enough magic on them, but I've got JUST THE THING!" Civen'cis says, a small, rolled up magical scroll in a convenient tubing appearing in the air beside her.

"This scroll will make your blades DAZZLE WITH BRILLIANCE! It uses very rare Corrupted Light magic to make them flash and glow and dazzle with white, black and red so your enemies can't look away! But moooreee importantly, it's so hard to look at they won't even know what direction your blades ARE EVEN FACING! But don't worry, it DOESN'T AFFECT YOU AT ALL!" Civen'cis gives her sales pitch. (Scroll of Dazzling Blades, Cost: 150 SE)

Civen'cis then makes a fairly curious item appear in the shadowy air next to the scroll. It's a narrow black leather collar to be fit around the neck studded with dark gems cut into the shapes of spikes, and it exudes magical energy.

"I'll say right off the bat this thing's great for killing and BDSM play! Just wearing this thing will imbue you with the power of a PLAGUE HYDRA! Inhale deeply and exhale with it on, and you'll BREATH TOXIC FLAME! Not only does it burn, it addles the mind and makes people real sick! Breathe it all over an area and anyone that sniffs the air there will GET SICK AND VOMIT THEIR GUTS OUT! Works really well against Angels! Oh, and disclaimer: will make your breath smell a little bad!" Civen'cis gives her sales pitch for the second item. (Plague Breath Choker, Cost: 160 SE)

"Hmm...oh, I would have A LOT MORE but it looks like my DARK TELEPORTATION SPELL JUST SCREWED UP! I'll fix that later, promise! So, doooooo I have a buyer?" Civen'cis questions you. She seems quite eager and happy despite the hiccup with the spell that retrieves the items from the Underworld so she can give them to you.

Garian stared at the Angel again, "Fear, I am no longer feared by those demons because I no longer follow the angels." He said, glaring at the angel and then turned and started off, "Do with her as you will, I am going to go to another town, get drunk, start a brawl, and then head into a church for forgiveness." He told them, fixing his coat, putting the blade back on his back, and moved uncaringly away.

Jered's eyes widen a bit when he looks upon Tal's mortal form. Her physique is admittedly quite..."eye-catching," and it takes him a second to realize that he momentarily broke eye-contact. Within his mind, he rebukes that seemingly-instinctive glance: Oi, focus man. It's not polite to stare.

With that taken care of, Jered answers her question truthfully: "In all honesty, I ask myself that question from time to time. In recent times, though, I may have found a solid answer..." during that pause, he lifts his palm up, looking at it as if trying to read it.

"I've seen what this war has done to the world...and obviously, it's not pretty. I'm the kind of guy who can't stand that...and frankly, I used to just run away, and try to hide from it all...but that's in the past. I know now, that the longer I run from the chaos, the further it'll spread, until there's nowhere left to run to...and so, I travel the lands, seeking to aid those who so desperately need it. Naturally, that got me into some fights here and there, which would explain why you'd think I 'taste like battle,' as you put it." Jered hasn't revealed which "side" he's on quite yet, but that's mostly just to keep things relatively calm; after all, you never know when a spy for the cultists may be lingering about, though something tells him that Tal would've spotted such an eavesdropper by now.

Realizing how helpless the fight is, Flim and Flam give each other a quick "Oh shit" look before turning back to the dragon. "Right then, time to be off, eh, brother?" "Right you are, brother of mine!"

The two jump off the wagon on different sides. They run off in different directions, abandoning the cargo and Talkea. After a few yards, Flim however remembers and stops, turning to her and shouting "Coming, Talkea?"

Vivienne noticed Cier's expression as he tried to keep from laughing.
"Well, sorry for not knowing anything, then!"
The annoyed Viv growled, pouting as she turned her head away from Cier.
Much as she didn't want to, she still stepped closer to Cier as they walked by the inn, casting a nervous glance back at the people staring. This much Soul Essence really attracted a lot of attention..
She listened to Cier's explanation of Soul Essence. The Angels were kind of dumb with that, weren't they..?
A short giggle escaped her lips as Nilgalos threatened to eat Cier for leaving her.
"I suppose he'll taste like candy, Nil?"
The next bit of information Nil provided was interesting, though..
Xierantal? Xier..Cier?
"Xier and Cier? Are you related?"
Viv had to look up at Cier as she asked the question, since he was at least a good head taller than her.

(Sorry guys, I've been busy the past few days.)

"Airheaded whore? You son of a bitch..." Claire says as she charges at her. She then stops when she sees the Angel. She looks over at Garian and then at the Angel. Once Garian leaves, Claire quickly follows. "Sorry, I'm not really good at this stuff..." she says to him.

Garian + Claire -

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The mature looking Angel's eyes narrow with disbelief, as well as obvious disdain for your behavior. You two barely even turn around before she has raised her hand and two tendrils of light fly out like lassos, stabbing you in the back painlessly and reeling you back over to about a few feet in front of her, where she spins you around to face her before letting go of her spell.

"You have no need to pray for forgiveness when an Angel stands in front of you. You are clearly very insolent mortals." the Angel says emphatically with a frown. Good job pissing her off, gaiz! The troupe of warriors behind her all seem to share in the Angel's opinion, obviously in disbelief of your behavior.

"You have already threatened to butcher an unarmed woman on a whim, and now you believe that your wanton recklessness will go unpunished. Despicable." she growls.

"I will give you, male human, one chance to justify your actions, else I will correct you." she delivered her ultimatum.

"As for you, girl, you seem his companion, so you shall receive the same correction." she adds in Claire's direction.

Flim + Flam -

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You two deftly jump off the wagon, avoiding the onslaught of frost breath which quickly coats your wagon, sealing it in ice. With a loud whinny, the horse that had been tethered to it breaks free of its bindings and makes for the field, the dragon unfortunately ignoring that potential meal in favor of killing you.

Talkea sees you running and is about to pursue after you when an ice bolt suddenly collides with her legs, sending her to the ground. Similarly, you find your escape halted when another blast of frost breath encases your limbs in ice and makes you fall to the ground like a sack of bricks. Or...well, ice cubes. You're not damaged by it, but you sure as hell can't move.

The dragon stomps up to you three (who can't even move) and sniffs at Talkea's exposed underwear for a moment before he decides to plod over to you two and stick his tongue out to taste the air again.

The beast looks at you with its icy eye and growls.

Vivienne -

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You feel a very warm sensation in your entire body as Nil shares her emotion at your comment through the telepathic link.

Mmm...I would have licked him up like chocolate... she says. Cier doesn't appear to have heard this one. Guess Nil figured it was a strictly girl to girl thing to say. You're left wondering, however, how in the world the dragon could do that without causing some severe injury to the comparatively tiny Cier. It's strange how a giant dragon and a little shapeshifter demon become such close friends, really.

Cier's wolf ears twitch at your initial comment though, but he brushes it off as the wide double doors leading into the gargantuan three floored inn slash tavern slash brothel fly open. Considering it's frequented by demons, the entire place is very lavish. The bar is serviced by 4 bartenders, numerous waitresses mull about serving very tasty looking ale, the circular tables are covered with pretty white cloth, the red chairs are stuffed with wool and are very comfortable, paintings adorn the walls and candles illuminate the low roofed room with a gentle orange glow. Numerous demons of all shapes and sizes chat amongst each other, telling stories and tales to each other. This is probably the best looking inn you can recall ever going to.

"Xierante is my father. Well...stepfather, as mortals would say. He did name me in his legacy. But I shouldn't speak on his behalf." Cier says, indicating to a private area at the far corner of the bar where a collection of characters sit in a comfy looking and lavish semi circular couch, in front of a delicate mahogany table.

The first and most obvious is the tall, mortal looking human male with corded, sleek muscles, chiseled, tall facial features, an aquiline nose and short raven black hair slicked back over his head professionally and aggressively. His eyes are a piercing red and his skin is only slightly showing signs of aging. He dresses quite plainly, with what seems to be a very plain but striking pair of suit pants with a neatly buttoned up black smoking jacket above a silken red shirt.

He is flanked by two mature looking succubi, one retaining a fairly human form with the usual curvaceous body, black hair and red eyes with large, perky breasts and elaborate formal black dress, while the other has indulged in her demonic heritage and sports lovely red skin with two small horns jutting from her eyes, along with a spade-tipped tail wearing a white dress near identical to her more human looking companions. Beside that, there's two other high ranking Demons chatting among themselves looking just as classy and suave as Xierante.

The obviously very mature and powerful Demon tilts his head to face you both, giving a smile and waving you over. Cier leads you to him without a word.

"Hello again, Cier. I see you collected the chalice with interest." Xierante greets you in a very suave, deep and well paced voice. It's hard to ignore or misunderstand anything an individual like this says.

"Oh, actually, this is Vivienne. She came here under, em...extenuating circumstances." Cier explained, motioning for you to set the chalice down on the table, which was laden with fine wine and biscuits.

"No need to explain for now. I've concluded that much from her appearance." Xierante nodded.

The Margrave looks to you. Unlike every other Demon you've met, he doesn't check out your appearance but instead gives a polite incline of the head and speaks:

"My apologies for not addressing you earlier. I am Margrave Xierante, of the Underworld. And you've already met Cier...I would presume Nilgalos as well." he introduces himself formally. Without a word, the more human looking succubi to his left scoots over a bit to allow you and Cier to take a seat. Unlike with Cier, he doesn't carry the spicy cinnamon scent. Your mind tries to decide whether this is because he can control it, or if you've grown so accustomed to it you wouldn't notice it to begin with.

"Please, do sit. I am evidently indebted to reward you." he invites.

Jered -

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Tal doesn't seem to mind your brief stares one bit. Hell, if anything your attempt at focusing yourself has the opposite effect as, in what you guess is a bid to impress you with her physical charm she shuffles in a bit closer and corrects her posture somewhat so that you can get a better look at her. But she at least has the initiative to acknowledge your restraint and listen in keenly on your story, absorbing your sudden tale with a patient interest. She digs the tip of her boot into the dirt squeamishly, nodding.

"You sound like a real live poet! A mortal bard could sing for ages about your turmoils, if what you say is true..." she compliments, tapping a finger against her cheek. Her nostrils flare somewhat as she sniffs the air again inaudibly.

"No, you taste like...like you've spent your entire life fighting. Maybe not fighting mortals, Demons or Angels, but fighting...that's the kind of battle I meant. Sorry for confusing you..." she apologizes, a small hint of pink spreading to her cheeks. Did you just get a dragon the size of a small castle to blush? Kudos, Jered!

"But I'm sorry, you have to be here for a reason. I cannot believe otherwise." she then insists, looking you up and down again.

"Are you going to raid Tear Stone Castle? Is there someone you have to rescue? A girl, maybe? Or are you going after the Arkenkai!?" she questions you excitedly. The name Arkenkai you can distantly recall from somewhere, but you can't remember exactly. Perhaps you can ask the Angel about it if you feel it prudent.

Tal's eyes are beaming with interest, like she's fawning over your answer.

Razajin -

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Civen'cis nearly has an orgasm with joy when you commit to your decision. Immediately after the last syllable of your words fall, you feel a weight on your chest as if your decision has been irreversibly cast in iron. Seems Underworld retailers really aren't big on refunds.

Civen'cis doesn't even need to raise her hand to extract the required Soul Essence from you (Razajin -160 SE) which leaves you feeling slightly dizzy and a touch weaker than when before you had absorbed some Soul Essence in the previous fights.

The shield of shadow energy containing the Plague Breath Choker releases and it flies onto your neck, clasping around it and nearly strangling you before it loosens up enough to be worn comfortably. You feel a sour, sickly taste in your throat and mouth that intensifies with each breath, but it dissipates from your senses after your body grows accustomed to it.

"TOTALLY AND ONE HUNDRED PERCENT SOLD! Thank you for your purchase!" Civen'cis beams, clapping for you.

"Now, I should just remind you that the Plague Breath Choker only really works when you inhale and exhale deeply! Regular breathing won't have as much of an effect. Otherwise, have fun!" Civen'cis gives her brief instructions on usage of your prize.

"As for the Dark Angel, she went into the corrupted chapel with the rest of the demons. Now, I can see you have nothing more to trade unless you want to pledge your life to eternal servitude of the Underworld, but I don't think you do, so see ya arouunddddd!" Civen'cis calls, waving before she explodes into a shadowy mist, along with the scroll. A second later, the mist fades and it's like she's not even there.

The boarded up and partially burnt out chapel, now decorated with numerous pentagrams painted in blood along with numerous other demonic sigils and designs sits as an imposing structure a short distance away, surrounded by a shadowy mist. The Holy Cross once topping it has been cut down and replaced with a gigantic burning torch.

On top of some nearby crates, your three imps spin their daggers around and play a 3 way game of checkers with differently colored pebbles. They wave to you briefly.

No real use for them right now, so you decide to leave them to their game. The blackened double doors leading into the chapel are sealed, but unlocked.

Razajin watches Civen leave before testing out the choker. He breathes in deeply and exhales slowly producing a small but lengthly string of noxious fire. Satifisfied that he wasn't ripped off, he makes his way to the chapel to talk to Skylia about her currupption before heading to the Commander for his next mission. Razajin pushes the doors open and looks around for Skylia.

Vivienne breathed deeply as the warm sensation spread throughout her body. Suddenly Cier looked quite a bit more..appetizing.
"You might not want to eat him, though..I bet he doesn't taste exactly like chocolate..stick to ox, Nil."
Viv shook her head to clear the thought of Cier as a chocolate bar.
She grinned as Cier's ears twitched, following him through the inn. It was quite the classy place..for an inn, that is.
Viv was amazed, almost breaking away to explore the inn until her mind suddenly reminded her there were more important matters at hand..such as listening to Cier's little explanation on his family ties. Stepfather, hm?
Her eyes followed Cier's gesture to a private corner of the bar where a few very important-looking demons sat..
"Whoa. Your father there looks..pretty powerful."
She whispered to Cier, barely catching up with a muted "Hey!" as he wordlessly walked on.
Vivienne listened to the conversation with some reserve. She was, after all in the presence of probably one of the most powerful demons of the Underworld right now. A mistake on her part wouldn't save her even if Cier intervened. And would he do so, if said mistake happened?
She glanced briefly at Cier before returning the Margrave's look, meeting his crimson eyes with her own.
"Um, yes. I am Vivienne Wishgate."
Viv gave a small nod towards the Margrave as she set the chalice onto the table, flexing her fingers as she released her hold. Somehow..she seemed glad to be rid of the thing..
The succubus on Xierante's left moved over to allow space for Cier and her to sit, the Margrave inviting them both to take a seat. Not much choice there..besides, that couch did look pretty comfortable.
"Thank you."
Viv smiled, pulling Cier over to the couch and seating them both whilst giving him a look that said "What kind of reward?"

Garian stopped in his tracks and turned back towards the angel, "I will apologize for my insolence, I was just trying to scare her into giving up any information she was withholding." He said and looked at Claire, "This woman was merely following me and standing back as I did what I thought was best, she had nothing to do with it until the very end." He told the angel and looked back, "I apologize again for my actions and if you are going to punish me, then let it only be me and let this woman go." He told the angel calmly.

On opposite ends of the road and being encased in ice makes it pretty hard to do, but the twins manage to look at each other again with a look of "OH SHITHSITHSITSHITSHITSHITSHITSHITSHITSHITSHIT", and rightly so. Flim would be shaking so hard (if he could move), so instead his teeth chatter, his throat trying to find words to talk himself out of this. When no words come, Flam calls out to Talkea. "You uh, (GULP) alright there, uh Talkea?"

Garian looked at her, "It'll be alright, Claire." He said suddenly and gave her a small smile, "I'll make sure they don't hurt you, just me...the least they'll do is probably reprimand me or give me 10 lashes, the worst being death." He said, fearless. He didn't want to die, but he was acting all high and mighty, he had forgotten whom he was talking to and what he was doing, maybe it was the liquor he drank before the battle, he wasn't usually like this. He was more calmer, more friendly. He had to remind himself who he was or he is going to die before anything else happened.

Tal's clarification of what she meant by "fighting" causes Jered to blush a little, though mostly out of surprise. Then, he recalls that he never explained his purpose here...better fix that.

"Well, as I said before, I'm the kind of guy who really hates the chaos that war spreads everywhere...and to be honest, it got a friend of mine into a lot of trouble. She helped me find the calling I've chosen, and we fought for it together...but in all fairness, we got whupped, and now she's in trouble..." Jered pauses, recalling the painful memory of how him and Skylia were beaten, and she was raped right in front of him, while he couldn't do anything to stop it. His angelic voice may have told him not to fret so much about her, but he just can't help it...besides, he feels somewhat responsible for what happened to her, as it was his attack that struck her so gravely before the battle's end...

"Truth be told...it might be too late to save her...but then again, the reverse could also be true. Either way, I swore to fight for a bright and shining future..." Jered's eyes suddenly gleam with determination, the kind of which could power a man through a hail of arrows, just to reach his goal. "and I intend to keep my word." He casts his gaze towards Tear Stone's keep, then continues: "If my friend hasn't already been carted into Tear Stone, she'll be there soon enough...and even if I can't save her after all...I'll still hold true to the oath I swore." TSC has to have some form of a prison in there...and even if Skylia's not there, he can go with freeing the captives, and getting enough of a rabble started to significantly hamper the assault on Marche, if not straight-up halt it altogether.

With his present goal clear, Jered turns back to Tal, a confident smile to accompany the courageous look in his eyes. "Still, this is quite a force they're readying for assaults on Marche, and in a heavily fortified set-up, too. Raiding TSC alone would be impossible, even for a tiger-blooded man like myself...but together, we just might have a chance." He pauses, then lets Tal in on his plan thus far: "I'm thinking of sneaking in, freeing the prisoners in there, arming whoever can fight well enough, then smashing the place up from the inside...but you seem more familiar with the area, so what do you think would be a good plan of attack, Tal?" As great of a fighter as he is, Jered's overall skill with full-blown battlefield strategy is...well, not as good...so he's hoping Tal knows enough about the place's layout to help formulate a proper method for this mission...

Garian + Claire -

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The angel's eyes narrowed at you, as if indecisive between taking affront to your insolence or just deciding whether you were just not all right in the head.

"I would not presume to decide what action I shall take were I in your position, mortals." the Angel says thoughtfully, brow furrowed.

"I cannot be expected to believe that after acting as you did, that you are reasonable individuals. As such..." the Angel raises a hand, which glows with a swirling mass of white and purple arcane energy. Teleportation magic!?

"I must place you where you are not a threat to the innocent. Goddess watch over you." she says, and a bolt of arcane energy lashes out from her hands, engulfing you two completely before you disintegrates and are whisked away into the sky.

It's started and done with before you can so much as blink. You're blinded by pure whiteness for several moments, but when you finally open your eyes, you're hit by a wave of...cold?

You look around, and see that both of you are standing straight in the middle of what appears to be an icy wasteland. The ground appears to be made of solid ice glazed with a layer of hardpacked snow, and although it's gray and overcast and a white fog obscures the horizon, it's actually not super cold when the wind isn't blowing. You realize that you're in North Autum, where there isn't supposed to be anything...

...except the Mages' Tower. A few minutes of searching might find what appears to be an intimidating, solid black spire shooting up from the ice maybe two kilometres away, seeming to reach endlessly into the sky. Aside from the rustling of the wind, you can't see or hear anything save for a few tiny, flying shapes way off in the distance. That Angel must have teleported you weeks or even months of travel away..all the way to North Autum.

Flim + Flam -

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Your arms are free, but your lower body is totally rooted to the ground. Trapped in ice, it seems. Not enough to freeze to death when the warm sun is out, but enough to chill you two.

Talkea, who has dropped her bow, struggles against her icy restraints and manages to reply back to you.

"Err...um, yeah, I'm okay. Just kinda...cold. What was in that energy drink stuff? Look at how it's acting!" Talkea points out as she motions to the dragon with a free hand.

It's stepped a few feet away from you and appears to be wandering around aimlessly, occasionally skirting its head against the ground or looking in a random direction. It hiccups, but then eventually finds its way over to Talkea, who shivers and twists her head around as much as she can to get a look at what it's doing.

Like it was before, the young dragon (which obviously has no sense of courtesy) has snuck its snout directly underneath her short leather skirt and snorts again, making Talkea shiver. A look of "oh no" crosses her face as she blushes pretty heavily, wincing when its tongue snakes out from his mouth and...licks her. Right there.

"AaaaaaAAAaaaAAAAhhh...that's cold!" she yelps, her cheeks becoming more red. The dragon licks again repeatedly and she shivers each time, although after a while gets used to the warmth of its tongue and only lets out a few surprised squeaks each time.

It stretches out a talon and hooks one under her now soaking underwear, pulling them straight down to her ice-encased ankles before beginning to lick her pussy with renewed vigor.

"AH! OH! I...you two...AH! Should...go! OH! I'll catc - ah! - up with you later, aaah..." Talkea shouts to you, moaning as its large tongue brushes over her clit.

"Ooh, it's going right inside me...uhh..." she groans under her breath as the dragon sticks the tip of its tongue right inside her entrance while she lays there limp and takes it without any resistance.

The dragon doesn't seem to even notice you now that it's busy hammering Talkea. You could probably shatter your bindings with magic and make for the road.

Vivienne -

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Nil obviously agrees with you, but not quite. You may have felt an intense sensation of heat pour through your more intimate areas when she made her reply:

Ohh, I bet he'd taste so good...mmh, I'll show you sometime...he'd like that... the dragon girl mumbles. Thankfully, she ended the telepathic connection to save you some embarrassment right about when you walked into the giant inn.

The wolf eared Cier extended his arm over your shoulder in a cliche move when you two sat down, Xierante having pulled the chalice over to himself for closer examination. Unlike the other Demons here, his interest in it seems to be less overt and he returns your look when he goes to speak:

"Pleased to meet you, Vivienne Wishgate. You are hereby welcome in this castle from this day forward." he tells you with a polite smile. The two high ranking demons seated a short distance away give him a look of acknowledgement in return and you immediately conclude you are fairly safe walking around the castle for the most part now.

"Now, it seems my Cier has kept you out of the proverbial loop, so I will elucidate on why you are here..." he adjusts his jacket, taking a sip of wine. One of the succubi offers you a crystal glass of it. Cier accepts and takes a sip.

"There are many chalices such as this one, but they are only similar, not identical. It contains a...special blend of Soul Essence that I believe will prove of great use to us. I am glad you did not partake in it for this reason. It would have most likely killed you. But regardless: I believe that this...'tainted' Soul Essence as the Angels might say is very important to our war plans. A Great Spirit is not so easily summoned, but...ah, I am sorry. I cannot risk telling you much more." Xierante explained at least partially.

"To be succinct, it gladdens me to have this back and so I would reward you adequately. I could fill you with Soul Essence, but perhaps there is something else you need...? A charm? A weapon? A piece of armor? A magic scroll? My collection is incredibly vast." Xierante questioned.

Cier looked to you as if wondering what you'd choose, rubbing his hand slowly up and down your shoulder without even knowing it. In addition, you hear a distant roar outside, and the room shakes briefly as if it's an earthquake, but it's gone so quick you barely even notice it. A massive shadow flies over the ground outside at that moment, however.

Jered -

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Tal drinks in literally every word you say with an astonished look on your face, much like any young and hormonal mortal girl that's been enthralled with tales of romance and beauty. The way you worded it, you've just about suggested to her that your life is better fit for the bards to sing for centuries or millennia later than for her to listen to in person, right here and now. Her face changes from sympathy, to intrigue, to determination and finally to lovestruck joy as you speak.

Your determination and high minded virtues are, unsurprisingly, highly compatible with her. She is an Angelic Dragon after all, and although she obviously doesn't believe in chastity (seriously, bucko, look at how much she's even wearing!) she at least comprehends that you're a man who is fit to fight alongside the Angels any day of the week.

She raises her hands to her cheeks, blushing heavily. You can almost imagine little comic hearts beating inside of her eyes right now as she looks at you longingly.

"W-wow, that's...so romantic!" she gives her opinion of your story, seeming to nearly faint before she collects herself, wiping a hand across her forehead.

"I know a thousand ways into TSC. I'll help you!" she then declares as she registers your offer, obviously wanting to be part of your story.

"Here, watch!" she says, leaping forward and gripping you in a large hug in such a way that her large and perky breasts impact your face.

Before you can even speak a word she's exploded back into her massive draconic form, and the softness of her chest is replaced with hard, glossy scales. You find yourself surrounded by darkness as she has you...in her claw? Yes, you can see she has you gripped pretty firmly in her massive claw, and you nearly throw up as she takes to the sky roughly, dizzying you severely.

Of what you can barely make out, you can see that you are indeed heading straight towards the castle, the dark creatures visible in the air seeming to flee from her presence as she nears it quite quickly.

I would hope you have a spell of healing ready...and your blade. the bird Angel comments morbidly after a long period of silence.

We're almost there! Uh, I hope you have healing magic and your sword ready or something! Tal says excitedly inside your head. Ditto, right?

Razajin -

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The fire provided by the choker is a sickly green and obviously very hot, but it seems to dissipate into a thin, semi-transparent green haze that hangs in the air after the flame vanishes. You decide that you should stay away from that green haze when you can.

Anyway, as you step foot into the chapel you find that it has been made quite unholy. Already, the grand statue at the head of the rows of pews has been replaced with a blood stained stone carving of the Demonic Archlord, and numerous dark effigies dot the walls. It's also been pretty thoroughly ransacked and beat up. Just like you'd expect.

Aside from a few random pro-Demon mortals who stand around making sacrifices to dark gods, chatting among themselves and otherwise occupying space, there's the more noticeable sight of a previously unseen demon. A barrel chested, maroon skinned demon of well over seven feet tall with massive chiseled muscular arms and legs, small claws instead of fingernails and toes and adorned with numerous scars and black tattoos across his visible arms. His face is heavily built and serious with a large jaw, glowing red eyes, two large horns jutting from his head and thin, slicked back black hair. He's wearing a chunky and fearsome suit of spiked black platemail with large shoulderplates (and under that a thin layer of black chainmail) save for his massive arms which are bare. Nearby, a two headed obsidian battleaxe with a serrated edge and of gargantuan size rests up against a wall.

Oh and it might be good to mention the familiar Dark Angel choking on his huge cock.

"So worth the fucking Soul Essence! An erection this huge is what days of ripping apart Angels on end does to you, hah!" the massive Demon boasts loudly as he sits on a nearly broken pew off to the side, red eyed Skylia on her knees directly in front of him attempting to deepthroat his huge dick but seeming too inexperienced to really do so.

"Mmh...mph...I...(gulp)...mmh..." is all the corrupted young Angel can spatter out in between her head moving up and down before the Demon grips the back of her head roughly. You see her cheeks and throat swell up as he empties himself in her suddenly, a giant stream of cum flowing down her throat as she struggles to swallow it all.

After a good ten seconds of him stuffing her full, he finally finishes with her and Skylia's head pops off his dick like the cork out of a champagne bottle, sending her flying onto her back with her entire upper body plastered with thick strands of demonic seed. She pants loudly and twitches, seeming only half awake, but seeing you approach she winks wearing a devilish smile on her face. Probably isn't going to do much talking though.

The now satisfied Demon pants loudly for a while and then looks forward again to see you.

"Oh, hey...Razawhatshisfuckingface...what the fuck are you doing here?" he asks roughly, putting his now flaccid cock back into his armor so you don't have to look at it.

"Nah, just fuckin' joking. Yeah, that slut's just as good as the commander said. So yeah, what the fuck are you doing here anyway? Heard you pretty much won the battle." he asks resting his large corded arms on the backrest of his seat. This guy does seem like a douche, but he could probably tear your head off if he wanted to. Seems to at least respect you for your battle prowess though, so that's...good?

Claire rubs her arms to warm up. She shivers and looks around. "Where do you think we are?" she asks.

As Tal practically glomps Jered, his face suddenly shoved between her breasts by the method of her approach, he blushes a deep red, obviously taken by surprise...and with those in his face, who can blame him? Of course, that blush doesn't last very long, as the moment she transforms and hoists them both into the air, he feels an unnaturally strong sense of airsickness. Even for a proficient Lightning mage like him, the swift change in altitude overrides that brief blush with a more green hue, brought on by the dizziness, as well as his digestive organs being jostled a bit from the maneuver. At least he didn't throw up...because it's safe to assume that puking all over an Angelic Dragon's claw would be very poor manners.

Anyhow, Jered recovers in time to hear both Tal and the telepathic Angel speak of battle prep, and he replies: "Yeah, don't worry about that. My primary skill in magic is with lightning, but I know ways to use it medically. For example, I can use a small jolt to help keep my energy levels up, and it can relieve numbness by stimulating nerve tissue. As for my sword, it could only be more ready if I actually had it drawn right now...but I'd rather not risk cutting you with it, Tal. Fear not, I know how to get it drawn on a moment's notice; despite what my wandering travels may suggest, I practice my blade-work quite often." No lies there; Jered's sword practice is something he takes very seriously, and he practices for at least 3 hours at a time, twice per day. In a world that's hit this hard by war, it pays to be ready for the worst.

Flam broke out first, using his magic. He then helped Flim out using his magic. The two were now at a moral impasse: Help Talkea, or leave her to get tongue raped by a dragon?

Flam was tired form the magic use, and there was no way Flim could defeat a dragon on his own, let alone get Talkea out. The dragon did look pretty loopy though, after drinking the mind-control drink. Perhaps it would be weaker?

The two made a huddle again, whispering about their situation, occasionally looking over their shoulders to peek at Talkea. "What do we do? We can't fight that thing." "But we can't leave her there either, brother!" "I say we just leave her here! She told us to go!" "Brother." "...Brother!" "BROTHER." ".....FINE."

Coming up with a plan in their heads, the twins rolled up their sleeves and put their plan into action. The dragon was doped up on mind control ale, he had to be weakened, right? Exerting as much magic as physically possible, Flim tried to get the dragon to stop doing.... Talkea, and get him to look away. His emerald eyes glowed incredibly bright green from the sheer concentrated magic he was using. Flam on the other hand, started to creep up on it, trying to get to Talkea without the dragon seeing him.
