"Sounds good should make Zandile make a mess of it's cockpit." She chuckles lightly and readies her mech. "Right guys get ready for the doors to open as soon as they do drop from the dropship so they can get out of here."

Garian twitched, he wasn't expecting heavies, he stopped his mech and targeted one of the blips, and waited, hoping for the dinging of the lock on. He will take at least one out before it gets into fighting range, that way he'll only worry about one.

"Us jumping out is the drop, They can't land the ship so get ready." Viper stated with annoyance as it was already asked and explained why he couldn't land.

TOG
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

From your position, you see one of the enemy mechs emerge from the treeline in the distance, but within weapon range. Your computer system instantly identifies it as a Vulture, and pings an affirmitive missile lock just as the enemy mech's torso twists round to point it's huge LRM rack your way. The other blips are still obscured, but moving in at a steady pace

Talin
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

From your position, you can passivly pick up the mech's signitures, but you're not in a good enough position to actually see one

Dropship
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

"Alright ladies and gentlemen, your drop is comin up, and it looks like it'll be a hot one" came the captain's voice as the side door to the dropship opened up, and all the mechs were released from the mountings - each with descent jets now attached on by automated machinery, and control linked trough to individual neurohelmets

Zandile braces himself for the drop, having a barf-bag ready on the side just in case. The fact that they're going in hot means that his brain's conscious and subconscious functions will be in fight-or-flight mode, though, so that will help reduce the airsickness.

"Well, I might as well get the drop over with fast...any objections to me being the first one out? My thought is to start carving out a path on the way down, while you three give a little cover fire from up here...Duo and Jason's 'mechs could use a clearer route to their positions, anyhow." Zandile knows that his 'mech is the one in their group made best for the closer engagements, and if he can keep his aim steady enough during the aerial insertion, he might be able to down a few of the Clans' scrappers right away. Of course, that strategy is nothing without supporting fire, so he's hoping that Jason at least has the common decency to aim at the enemy 'mechs, not his own.

Talin moves up still trying to keep to cover and hoping he can sneak around the side to flank them

Garian smiled, "Goodbye, bitch." He said and fired all his missiles at the Vulture and then his PPCs for good measure.

TOG
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Your LRM20 launches an entire salvo at the Vulture, and the rockets imbed themselves in the right leg and torso of the enemy machine. However, it's the two PPC's that cause the real damage - shearing it's left leg clear off. The mech collapses forward still facing you, and as it falls, fires a blast from it's own PPC, melting a fair amount of your own right leg's armour. Not enough to cause any real damage to the Atlas' workings, though

Talin
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You sneak furthur forward around the north side of the hill you were on, and see a fullisade of fire knock down one of the enemy mech's - a Vulture, by the looks of it. From your current angle, you have a clear shot at the top of the mech, but you can also see a second Vulture moving up and out of sight of the Atlas

Dropship
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The dropship stops in place, hovering just behind the battle progresing below. Looking down, you see an Atlas pound a Vulture with an alpha strike, causing it to topple, as well as Talin's mech skirting the north going slow. You can see a second Vulture moving up towards the downed firt one, but towards the south there are three Ryokens pushing quickly through the woods and hills, out of sight of everyone else. You'll most likley have to get on the ground before you'll be in range to have any hope of hitting the Clan mechs

Garian felt the hit and tsked before firing another salvo at the Vulture to keep it from doing that again, his PPCs aimed at the treeline in case another mech came out.

"I've got an objection. You're too bloody slow." With that Viper jumps from the drop ship. She isn't going to fire at any mechs from here waste of time she'll never be able to hit them. She screams with excitement as she heads towards the ground. The automated jump jets for landing kicked in making the fall rougher. As she landed she quickly looked around and decided to head Towards the fighting kicking it into 3/4 of her max speed. Readying her weapons Viper tries to reach the Atlas and Talin. "Looks like we're late too the party Hope you haven't had too much trouble." She moves until she's in range and fires both of her PPCs at the vulture aiming his LRM racks at the Atlas. "We're got three Ryokens quickly coming through the woods and hills to the south."

Jason beams. "That'a girl, Viper! Now your starting to get me!" Jason follows suit with Viper, landing and aiming his two Manga MK III at the Vulture Viper shot at. "If you'd like, I'm sure Duo and I could handle the Ryokens, if we make it to the hill in time." He suggests.

Talin quickly powers up his mech and, after a few seconds to insure everything is online, fires his lasers at the second vulture as much as he could preparing to take off back into the trees and use the hill as cover if it turned his way. he targets it's PPC hoping to disable or at least damage the weapon. (on lance comm channel) "We got good hits on an enemy vulture and a second one is coming up the hill, I'm engaging, I'll try and take out it's hard hiting weapons first but I'm taking cover if he points that thing at me. First one looks like it's downed with a missing leg."

Duo and his marauder drop from the drop ship heading to were there is cover for him to hide in. Examining the area before landing. When he lands his mech slides on impact a bit turning towards were the others landed taking aim on the biggest threat to the others. that was his main target. "duo here! landed and in position ready to fire" he said taking aim on one of the ryokens his recticle making a triangle pulling the triggers to his AC5 and his twin PPCs.

Zandile shrugs his shoulders when the others beat him to the punch, then takes a deep breath, and makes his own jump. His stomach turns a bit, and it's a good thing can keep his Styx's descent ready with one hand...because the other's busy holding the barf bag in the last few seconds up to his landing.

"Urk!...ugh..." Zandile was gracious enough to mute his com-link during the drop, so his allies wouldn't get grossed out. Then he promptly steels his nerves into combat orientation, moves for the first bit of sufficient cover he can safely reach, takes a few pot-shots at any enemy Mechs' weapons that he can hit with his Medium Lasers, and uses a quick hop or two with his jump-jets to provide a harder target as he heads behind the most tactically-appropriate hillside. Flipping his comms back on, he says: "Zan here, moving to cover for shock-trooping. Let's give 'em a good show, folks."

TOG
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The Atlas' missiles slam into the Vulture's cockpit, ripping it apart and killing the clanner inside. You scan the treeline with the twin PPC's, but are unable to make anything out

Mel and Jay
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The pair of you pour your fire into the decapitated mech, and the combined fire tears the only operational arm off. There's not much left of that one.

Talin
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Your shots go wide, and slam into the right missile rack instead, shearing off some armour. It twists towards you and you get a ping as the missile racks lock on. It's PPC and Autocannon burst into life - the PPC missing compleatly, but the atucannon round slamming into the Locust's central torso. Alarms flash as the round wasn't far off opening a fist-sized hull breach

Duo
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Apon landing, your scanner tells you that the biggest concentration of mechs is to the south, and it would be the three Ryokens moving in formation and shielded from fiew by trees

Zandille
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You land and move to the north as it was towards the closest mech - the still active Vulture. As it comes into view, you blaze at it with your lasers and rake it's right torso. It's armour melts off, but remains just intact enough to prevent the stored missiles there exploding

Talin takes off down the hill and circles around to the east (assuming he is north of the mech which I believe I was told I was earlier) trying to get behind it and strafes the mech with laser fire while keeping on the move and hiding behind what ever cover is available. "Taking AC shots, armor damaged, I'm going to see if I can't take out his missile racks before he can use them" He focuses his fire on damaged missile rack while trying to stay behind the heavy mech using his high speed. Talin gives his radar a quick check to see if there are any more mechs he might run into.
