The Orks rush in behind the tanks, they seemed to have smartened up as the Leaders seem to be in the middle of the large ork hordes, leading them on.

Jessica muttered and began firing at any exposed fuel tanks or tracks in an effort to slow or stop them.

Claire shoots at any Ork she sees. She then aims for what looks like a leader.

Corvus looked around for any heavy weaponary encampment.

Ba'al turned to corvus "corvus got any ideas about that armour they have?"

Working on it! said Corvus as he looked around for a heavy weapon encapment.

"well corvus. any experience in working ordinance?" Ba'al said as if he had a plan

Yes, Mostly heav weaponary though. Corvus said, still looking around.

"good, then you can help in my plan" Ba'al said eyeing a tank that is quickly closing in "they took that tank from us and now we shall take it back. dont you agree?"

Risky. Hope you have a plan? Corvus said as he looked at the advancing tanks. Capturing a tank demanded an ambush.

Kay had her rifle resting carefully and, as the Orks advanced, started snapping off single shots at any greenskin that came within range. She ignored the tanks, figuring that even with the superior weapons she had, it wouldn't punch through the front of a Leman Russ

Alexsis sprinted with lasgun ready joining in with her comrades opened fire on the orks

Orks continue their assault, getting closer to trench lines. Ard boyz, grouped around Nobz follow the tanks. Oddly they do not charge and actually hold themselves, showing hints of strategy, using tanks as cover. While main fore advances, hordes of feral orkz, boyz with little armour and primitive choppaz march on and charge to soak up Defender's ranged fire.

Jessica's shots fail to damage the tracks of the tanks and she cant hit their fuel tanks thanks to distance, maybe if she gets a sniper rifle...

Claire too manages to hit one of the low ranked Nobz leading the feral Orkz, but Orkz seem to barely notice.

Alexis kills 4 feral Orkz with her accurate shots, still hordes continue to advance.

Celeste waits as Orkz are yet to get in her laspistol's range.

Kay manages to kill 5 feral Orkz with her lasgun.

Ba'al notices that it maybe hard to get to tanks but he spots some mine crates, maybe some trap can be deployed.

Corvus spots a lascannon nearby, one of the few heavy weaponary guards still have. Its crew seems to be dead and Corvus cant operate it alone.

Thanks to Defenders effort, feral Ork hordes get thinner but they prevent defenders from focusing on the tanks and the ard boyz cowering behind them.

Kay continues to fire at the feral Orks, occasionally snapping off a shot at the bigger boyz when the oppotunity presented itsself. "I'm not liking the look of this!" she shouted as the tanks continued to rumble closer, and the green tide kept advancing, despite their losses

(feral orks are cannon fodder of most Waaghs. Waaaghs usually absorb the feral tribes of the worlds they conquer. These feral orks are then used as cannon fodder, surviving ones are promoted to sluggas and shootas serving the head clan.)
