Lilia perks up at the sound of Jill's voice, immediately disregarding her interest in Katya's books and zipping up the duffel bag. After a second to compose herself, she answers,

"I know better than to go around dual wielding them. Much less accurate that way. Also harder to keep track of ammo usage if you're just dumping on the nearest target. Better to take a stance and give controlled fire, though I'm pretty good at firing from the hip if necessary." She makes sure there's not a bullet in the chamber then ejects the clip and inspects it, taking out each bullet just to make sure there's 15 in there including the one in the chamber. She pops the clips back in and puts a bullet back in the chamber and calls it good. She would fully field strip it, but she feels like she needs them up and running just in case.

"Never point it at a friendly unless the safety's on and even then, with your finger out of the trigger well. Only an idiot fully trusts a gun not to accidentally go off in a partner's face unless they actively make sure it doesn't." Satisfied for now, she makes sure the safeties are on and goes to tuck them into her pants before she remembers that she still isn't wearing clothes thanks to earlier today. She also ignores the screams she hears from a floor above them. No way in hell is she going anywhere near a scene as bad as that lady's making it sound, gun or not. It's still night after all. She'd be useless against whatever's out there.

Jill can hear the screams as well, but there's something...strange about them. They don't sound all that desperate in her ears...in fact, they sound more like someone's crying wolf. On top of that, she has the feeling that those creatures would've gagged their "prey" first, using those horrific tentacles on their backs...

Deciding to voice her thoughts, but not that explicitly, Jill says: "And here I thought they'd have the mouth covered too...call me crazy, but I think they're trying to lure us in." She wouldn't put it past those devils. After all, everything she's observed about them suggests that they're crafty bastards, and will stoop as low as they like in their search for fresh "nourishment."

Jill moves up to Katya, and covers her mouth before she can yell. She keeps her voice down, but gives the FBI agent a quick reprimand. "Are you nuts?! Don't tempt them...who's to say they won't just break down the door?" Trained agent or otherwise, yelling out to them is just asking for trouble. She just hopes that her fears don't become realized...

As she exited the elevator she heard screams of help coming from down the hallway. She wasn't exactly sure what she could do but what if something bad was happening to them? She couldn't just leave them.

"Hello?!" She cried out taking her cellphone out and turning it on to get some more light. "Are you okay?! What's wrong?!"

(Someone could also hear Ericka and save her as well. Since she doesn't have a clue about this place.)

The woman with Setsuka sighed, "Their not falling for it, might as well go with Plan B." She said and grabbed Setsuka by the neck and slammed her into the group's door hard, a cruel smile on her face and she kissed Setsuka on the lips, but it was different than before, this time she started to suck the life out of her. Tentacles started to come out of the darkness and slammed themselves into Setsuka roughly, plowing her hard.

Bethan keeps a careful look around her and quickens her pace and and begins trying to lose the figures from the fog. Taking random turns down random streets and alleyways trying to lose them.

(Totally got busy for a while, sorry for forgetting to check the RP! BTW, since you said they where still there then are they in the tentacles?)
Tali screams and struggles against the tentacles. She tries to break free and dodge to the side so that she could escape this nightmarish trap.
What is a goal but an attempt to gain a purpose? We don't really want the goals and advancements for themselves, we want them because it gives us a reason to act.

Okay, now Jill's feeling a bit ill at ease. Those screams actually sound legit, and considering the slam that hit the door, it's definitely not a simple audio bait for the trap.

Still, her judgment is conflicting with what she knows is the right thing to do. She wants to help whoever's out there, she really does...but she knows what's bound to happen once she'd open that door. Add to that the fact that there are others in the room at stake, and this becomes a very big moral dilemma. If she goes out and tries to help her, then Jill puts herself and the others at risk...but even so, simply staying here and just listening to it unfold isn't the right thing to do, either...

For now, she stands in front of the door, a defensive stance taken in case the door breaks down. She also voices her thoughts, along with a humble request: "Okay...this time, it sounds a lot more real to me...umm...Katya, do you think there's any way to quickly get her in here, without letting the...monsters in, as well? And if it's not too much to ask...is there a knife or something that I can borrow from you?" Jill figures she might as well ask about how to minimize the chances of an "enemy incursion"...especially considering how much those blood-curdling, tormented screams yank on her heart-strings...
