She faltered in step, falling to one knee as thoughts that were both alien and not her own begun to flood into her mind, visions so vivid and clear it was as if she could reach out and touch someone. She let out a cry, bringing both hands to her head, holding it against her temples, her head beginning to hurt and burn. Loud words begun to echo in her mind, the same voice as the witch who had confronted her but moments ago, her words resonating loud and harshly in the hollows of her own conscious mind. "You're not alone Elsa, you might think you are and you might think you understand what I'm thinking but I know exactly what you're thinking, I see your memories even if I don't want to." the voice echoed in her mind more, her head hurting more and more as blood begun to flow faster through her body, her temples beating hard, her lungs burning as she gasped each breath.
Eyes appeared in her mind's eye. Hundreds of them, each as cold as the last one, each searing into the blackness of her mind, some glowing, others just staring accusingly, each time it flickered, more and more sets of eyes staring back at inner Elsa's self-image, her shape cowering and shrinking before them. They were suddenly swept aside, a flame, bigger and brighter than any she had ever seen, the heat sweeping aside other images in an all consuming fire, one that continued to burn at her head, her blood thundering past her ear drum as she grit her teeth together, drawing blood from cheek caught between them.
As soon as it had appeared it ended, leaving her cowering in the darkness of her own mind, the emptiness all consuming, the same feeling of wondering the snow ridden forest of home. Yet at the edges of her mind she could feel the warmth, the images of a man flashing at the corner of her perceptions, the memories of love and warmth. A man whom she has never seen before, nor recognized in any way, garbed in the outfits of a land far away. Smiles, and warmth, the fluttering of a heart, before once more being drawn into nothingness, a back drop to the tragedies of wandering alone, and being hated. Once more her head begun to burn, her ear-drums beginning to feel like it would turn in upon itself before tearing.
"At least you were simply ignored, you weren't shown the uglier side of this world through the eyes of every stranger you met. But you are not alone and as you denied it before, your going to have to face facts, you have power and you can't control it is the only problem." The voice was sharper before, crueler than before.
Through grit teeth, and blood, Elsa spoke, "I am not like you. You of all people then, should now how much more important love and respect should be valued." She continued to grit at her teeth before finally her mind was her own again. She stood doubled over in the dirt of the mountain floor, hacking deep breaths before clearing her throat and spitting a glob of saliva and blood. "You of all people..."
