As if the place she found herself in wasn't bad enough, now her mind didn't seem to be entirely her own. It was a thought that scared her more than the freezing expanse of space, and more than the strange creatures she could barely remember. She lifted the note from the wall and gently pulled it toward herself, folding it as it transversed the empty air between them. With no pockets or pouches to store the note, she tucked it between her lips. And no, not those lips, the ones above the above waistline. She turned rather rapidly and glanced over to the terminal extruding from the wall. Riya was a creature of efficiency. Her relatively new abilities did mean she was more efficient than she used to be, but she was still no rival for a machine. She knew that technology was clean, precise, and more often than not, quick. Unfortunately for Riya, she found computers terribly complicated. If not for over- engineered UI's then Riya would have given up on then ages ago. She hesitantly reached out to touch the terminal, hoping some external stimulus would kick in some backlighting or illumination. If a simple touch didn't bring about a response then she would look for some peripherals to enter some input. If she managed to gain access, the best she could do was blindly search around the thing. She was by no means dumb, and could easily follow a logical process, but her usually use of a computer was to pay for fuel or a parking space. If it was an auditory log she would listen while she crept around the room, if it was just a text log then she would read before she did her physical investigation. First up were probable exists from the current room, then some sort of makeshift weapon, anything was better than her fists. Some stripped cables made a painful and effective whip, and while some big heavy piece of steel wasn't her style, she wouldn't pass it up. If she managed to lie here naked for an indefinite amount of time without disruption then taking her time to thoroughly look around seemed to pale in comparison.
I really like purple.
