Apocolyptia Redux - chapter one

kyle sees the flash from far off and tries to run faster.(agil 8. roll 4. WIN) he begins running with all his might and starts closing the large gap between him and the explosion (350 feet away now)

Kit screams as that bomb goes off.. the noise and light blinding her.. one of the drawbacks of being a scout model.. her hearing is enchanced and so she is easily stunned by the large burst of noise.
(do a roll to see if her eardrums get burst)

Garian takes cover, still holding Lina, behind the wall of the chuch, the flash having no affect, and the hearing dulled, before going back to aiming, hoping that the person inside the truck gains a false sense of hope.

Rothus quickly throws a smokebomb to conceal his movements and gets out from the back of the Truck. He then runs to the drivers seat and tries to start the truck.

(no i wont roll to see if i succesfully bursted her eardrums, she can keep her eardrums. Flash bomb wasnt that noisy. Now gorbaz please, you make the mechanics rolls. i dont know what i need in order succesfully get this truck.)

Lina is thrown to the ground.

Her right are is scarped because i say so.
It looks like there are splinters in it.

Not knowing much about working vehicles as they are few and far between, it takes you a good 6 seconds of twisting and pushing things to get the truck to start, but start it does

Rothus tries to drive away from the group, happy that he acquired a new vechile. Sad that he had to steal it.

(again leaving rolls to gorb since they are made against fellow players.)

Garian heard the truck start and knew what this man was trying to do and growled in anger, pulling his gun out he got up and ran at the vehicle, "Stop you fucking thief!" He yelled, firing a warning shot in the air, afraid of shooting into the smoke in case he had hit him.

getting within 300 feet, kyle skids to a halt and sees a vehicle speeding towards him. he doesn't know if its trying to attack him or not.

Rothus tries to steer away from the Kyle as he doesnt want to hurt him or run over him. So he steers to left and goes full throttle.

[Gorbaz]

Rothus tries to drive the truck, but quickly realises that he's never actually operated a vehicle capable of independant movement before, just like 99% of everybody in the wastes, and mistakes the handbreak for an accelleration lever, causing the truck to skid to a sudden halt

Garian sees the truck stop and rushes towards it, quickly getting to the driver's seat and aimed the gun right at Rothus' head, "GET THE FUCK OUT!!" he yelled, angry as hell now.

Rothus was tryin to start the trucks engine again and get a good grip on controls before an angry brute jumped into drivers seat and pointed a gun at his head. Soon as Rothus seea the gun he doesnt wait for man to say anything and quickly tries to kick the gun away.

(gorbaz, you make the rolls.)

You go to kick the gun out of Garian's hand but, since it's closer to your hands than your feet, you graple with the gun instead, pushing the gun so it's muzzle is *almost* away from your face

Garian pulls the gun away to throw him off balance and then flips the gun around and proceeds to knock Rothus unconscious with the butt of his gun. (strength 5, rolled 10)

Hex charged around a boulder in time to witness two humans begin a struggle over a small firearm in the what she could now see was a standard transport truck, she had heard a flash-bang go off from the other side of the buildings and knew the from the sound of grinding gears that the wastelander had tried and failed to steal it. Hex hoping to a casualty dashed passed the fox creature the truck had narrowly missed and reached into the truck dragging both humans out and roared as load as she could in an effort to stun both of them enough to stop further struggles

Rothus was trying to hold the gun and kick the Garian out of Truck before he was pulled out by another creature. Damn, just how many anthromorphs were there in this wasteland?

kyle, now realizing what the humans were doing, sat down and took a moment to think about what the hell is going on with the world. he knew that a fight was going on, but frankly, he didn't care much to get mixed up in human problems. he would sit there and wait until they were done fighting. after all, if they kill each other off, that just makes it easier to finish them if they give him problems. if he started hearing multiple gunshots, then he would move, of course.
