"..."
"Eghh..." was all Viktor could get out. He kept the man between the drone and himself like his life depended on it (which it did), and turned to Henry. "Henry. Please tell me she didn't escape. Because I sure as hell didn't plan a trap. And please find a way to turn this Loyalist drone off. Because, frankly, I don't see much else I can do right now." Viktor tried to keep a calm demeanor, but his voice wavered a bit as it dawned on him that his life might be coming to a close more quickly than he'd imagined.

Oz ignored the cig and started on his work.
As he retrofitted the walker, Oz couldn't help but grind his teeth slowly as Mort rambled on about Lily.
"Mort," Oz snarled in an icy tone. "Don't fucking joke around, unless you want some breeching rounds in your kneecaps."
The walker was now forgotten as he took a break, taking a few sips of the precious purified water.
Doubts now plagued his mind. Was she now breaking the balance of power, like he once did?
To be honest, the physical labor combined with the strenuous thoughts made it hard to breath for a while, before he could properly calm down.

Ciera was really glad now that that she didn't allow her curiosity to get the better of her. The drone looked like it was a bit redundant now that she got the information off of it, so she decided that it would probably be a good idea to tear it apart for scrap. But first... she walks over to the crate that the drone threw her pistol into along with the rest of her items, and begins to pick them out, and hopes that there are a couple of other things which may be useful to her as well...

((Sorry for the shortish posts. I'm closing tonight/opening tomorrow so I wanted to get a post out while I still could.))

Rein
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

"Lets hope we don't have to use the landmines... rather not get hit by piece of shrapnel from the trucks... let alone see someone like you get hit."

"Ahh, how sweet."

She lets out a small chuckle as you hear the ruffling of clothes.

"Hmm, so this is what they wear. Seems a little ineffective for managing the climate..."

A few minutes later, Chrissy pokes her head out, looking around with mild distaste as she steps out of the room. It's not had to figure out why given the slave garbs she's wearing. You begin to question if Estrada picked them up at Curb or something given they barely cover her more modest bits in small folds of tan cloth. She tosses you the end of a chain as you note a pair of shackles (fake on closer inspection) around her wrists.

"And now we just have to get into position until the scouts spot them... Eugh."

Wyviera
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Janette sticks her tongue out at you jokingly as she swings around a corner. You aren't sure how, but at some point you lose tack of her on your way to the surface. Sure enough though not five minutes later you do manage to spot her in her outfit running up a set of stairs and the chase is on once more!

It takes a while, but you eventually find yourself in a less used shack on base a little ways out from the main installation. Entering inside, you find Janette moving aside a dirty mattress up against the wall to reveal a skeleton with a large metal box.

"Read up on fireworks once. They use different salt metals to make different colors, so I sto- I convinced the science division to let me have some of their supplies and made my own!"

As she lifts up the lid, you peer inside to find... Oh holy hell, that couldn't be approved by anyone! She has at least a dozen grenades of varying types ranging from fragmentation grenades to phosphorus. You think you even spotted a poison gas bomb or two in the pile as she digs through it. Pulling out a smaller incendiary pack, she begins taping a small packet of white powder, likely one of those metal salts she mentioned, to it. You begin to question how many of the false alarms in the last few years were actually false alarms and not this kid screwing around with things they weren't supposed to. Any one of these grenades could easily produce a loud enough bang to put portions of the base on alert.

"Have a really big one stashed away, I think it's called a suitcase nuke or something like that... I don't wanna set it off yet though, there's not enough wiring to set it up far enough away to not take out a wall or three."

Viktor
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

"Henry. Please tell me she didn't escape. Because I sure as hell didn't plan a trap. And please find a way to turn this Loyalist drone off. Because, frankly, I don't see much else I can do right now."

"Oh. Well, ahm... Yes."

He blinks once or twice before walking over to the drone and inspecting it, seeming to look for something or another, though his pace is rather leisurely.

"Civilian, please stand aside so that this unit may eviscerate officer Hjelmstead."

On the contrary, it seems that the land drone thinks you're the civilian.

Oz
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Mort looks at you confused for a moment before shrugging it off as you take a break from the walker.

"Huh. Yah need an inhale there or something? I can go find the Doc for one of 'em steroid gases or somethin'. We ain't got all day. Well, hehe, preferably anyways."

It feels like things are as slow as ever today. Looking around however, it suddenly dawns that there's a lot less soldiers around base than usual. Actually for that matter you only spotted one in town when usually there's at least a dozen of them...

Ciera
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

GM Roll; Search- 8 + 5 = 13
Morphine (3 doses) was found!
Combat Knife (1d8 - 3, 14/50 HP) was found!
Graphene Super capacitor (small) was found!

You grab your things, and search though the crate finding a number of useful if not worn-down items. You even manage to find a few morphine packets hidden inside!

There doesn't seem to be much more you can do in this particular room.

Daniel
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

((I'll get your stuff up tonight/tomorrow, gotta head into work soon, sorry for the briefness)).

You find yourself in one of the medical rooms at Eagle Prime, a number of folks from the Food Corps groaning and moaning from one injury or another... No one's entirely sure what attacked them since none of them are talking about it. All anyone knows is that the Food Corps brought back a rather large hunk of meat that took three men to drag along among the backpacks full of scavenged goods and the mockery of agriculture from the farms. Looking over your clipboard, you're surprised to see the name listed. Usually they only let Henry treat Lens, but then again, Henry hasn't been around for some reason or another.

Approaching your patient, you find Erin and Aaron already in the room despite having no reason to be there.

"So Lens, what'd it look like?"

"C'mon Lens, you're no fun! You talk to the Food Corps, don't you?"

"Yeah Lens, why can you talk to the food corps but you never say two words to anyone else?"

"And that was really stupid of you to intervene! You should know better than that, Lens!"

The two continue to harass the Food Corps leader until noticing you as they let out a synchronized snort and giggle.

"Oh Hey Daniel-"

"How yah doing?"

"We just figured we'd check up on Lens here. Strange fellow."

"Right? Well we should get out of your way I suppose."

With the twins heading out of the room, you finally get a good look at your patient. There's a small bit of blood pooling on the ground from what appears to be a nasty bite mark out of their thigh. It looks like Lens was pretty lucky it didn't hit an artery. Still, judging by the rate of blood loss it's likely poisoned or infected, so it's no wonder they couldn't wait for Henry to show up.

Lens just sort of stares at you through their yellow visor helmet without saying a word, their stealth suit still on minus a few missing bits from bite and claw gashes.

As she walked out into view Rein had a hard time looking away. Catching the chain as he took off his coat to let her wear to help with the cold for now. "You don't have to have your body to be so revealing until we get to where we need to...." Tying the chain to his belt was standard procedure for slavers. Pulling her closer to keep her warm. Her face was a bit flushed red but he made sure not to stare at her too long. Part of him having thoughts about her that would be best for after the job was done. Handing her his stun gun he as they walk to where they need to be for this job. "Listen I'm only letting you use this for this job. It has three charges a day and only use it on emergencies. Its best if you don't kill anyone... It's not something you should ever take lightly and when worse comes to worse stay behind me. I don't want anyone dying on me today got that?"

As they walked he loaded his pistol and kept his knife taped to his forearm under his sleeve so he could just take it out when he believes it would be needed. Letting chrssy keep on the coat til their job was done. Once the targets came into view it shouldn't be hard to lie to them he wouldn't let them touch her and the reason she has the coat is because damaged or used goods sell much lower on the market. Its not his first time having to keep a slave safe. Although this girl was no slave. He held her close very protective of her since he found out she had snuck onto the bike with them.
Life has gotten so much more boring. Well I suppose it doesn't help if I say my only source of entertainment is YouTube and here. So yeah not much of interesting life going on.

Ciera smirked at the small bounty she had gotten as a result of the bit of bad luck with the drone. Putting the things away, except for the pistol, instead keeping hold of it incase, she started searching the room for a way out...

Oz flicked the bird in Mort's direction. Asswipe.
But, the puzzling thing about the moment was the lack of guards.
Nervously, Oz took out his shotgun and loaded a beanbag into the chamber.
"Where is everyone?" he asked Mort. "There was a lack of soldiers outside today..."

Viktor looked at Hjelmstead for only a few moments before offering a brief "sorry, mate" and diving out of the way, allowing the drone to annihilate the Loyalist. Assuming the drone was finished with its business, Viktor asked Henry about the status of the other prisoners and "chi latte," who'd fallen into his oh-so-genius trap.

Wyviera returns the gesture and sticks her own tongue out before chasing after the girl. Janette moved fast enough that Wyveria lost sight of her several times but she knew she would find her on the surface. The little hacker didn't disappoint as Wyviera caught sight of her again and this time she was in her suit. An hour later and Janette had led her to an old decrepit shack. She was impressed that the girl had time to make a little hideout, she had assumed since she was the granddaughter of Regus would always be watched. Maybe she just have anyone to play with? She thought with a frown as Janette's back was turned and she was digging through her stash. Curious about what the girl had, Wayviera peered only her shoulder. She controlled her surprise this time, only her eyes giving away her shock.

"Are you sure you should be messing with this stuff?" Wyviera asks, picking up a stray frag grenade before carefully rolling it to another corner of the shack. "Even if you read and know about this stuff the thing about explosives is that they are volatile. I might be only watching you for this mission but I don't want to hear that you got blown up. Besides not all of this are for fireworks..." She muttered as she thought of a way where everyone could win. "Okay lets shoot some fireworks then you can pack this stuff up. The trip might get boring so bring some of that powder and I'll bring the grenades, that way we can both make some explosions. Unless you want to leave all of it here?" She spoke softly, not wanting to disrupt Janette's concentration as she mixed explosive elements.

Wyviera didn't even think about moving the suitcase nuke. She was sure that the Loyalists didn't know about it and honestly she wasn't sure if they should. As far as she knew, nuclear weapons was how fallout had started. Introducing those types of weapons back into a militarized organization, regardless of their intention wouldn't end well. Although bringing it in would set me up for another promotion. "Does anyone else know about this shack or the suitcase nuke, Jane?"
