Pokemon Christmas: A multiple writer story?

It was the day before christmas and all Myra could think about was the following morning. Sure she hadn't asked for much this year but that was okay. Myra and her brother weren't exactly rich, but they got along well enough, though holidays were difficult for them. She shook the thought from her head and continued wrapping the gift she'd been working on. *He should be home soon.* She thought, sticking the colorfully wrapped box under the tree in the small living room.

She looked out the window at the snow covered ground, watching a small group of wild Starly pecking and digging at the ground. She made a split moment decision and slipped on her coat, beanie and a pair of boots and snatching a scarf before slipping outside. Once she was out she could see a lot more than just Starly. The were a lot of adorable little pokemon playing in the snow. Two Shinx were chasing each other and made Myra giggle in delight of watching them play their little game.

She whistled a little, walking around the back after picking up a basket from the porch. "Time to pick some berries. I'm sure Cade will like them as a snack when he gets home from work." She whistled as she walked down the path to a patch of trees her brother had found a few months ago. Her brother was very smart and she always looked up to him for everything.

After finally reaching the trees she hung the basket on a low branch, starting to pick only the best berries she could find. She enjoyed the near silence, only the sounds of pokemon and rustling leaves as she pulled the berries from the branches. She was moving from one tree to a different one, pausing as something caught her eye. "I wonder....." She walked over, quickly picking up the object and removing the snow that was on it. "It's an egg..." She quickly removed her jacket wrapping it around the egg. She walked back, grabbing the basket and quickly heading back towards the house.

The moment she got there, she went inside, sitting down the basket. She took the egg over to the fireplace, quickly lighting it and sitting down holding the bundled up egg in her lap. All she could think was to warm up the egg and hope she wasn't to late to save it. Yet she couldn't help but wonder why the egg had been alone in the freezing cold. "Just please be okay little guy." She sighed deeply, glancing back at the doorway. "I hope Cade gets home soon to help me with this. I really don't know what else i can do...."
