Kelborn grunted what might have been an affirmative at Rava's comment, then he heard the horn blowing. "Looks like its time to go." Kelborn walked over to the edge of the crowd looking over their heads easily to see Voland. He listened intently as the old veteran explained the mission. Everything seemed clear enough to Kelborn so he waited to see if there were any other questions.

Falor was glad to finally get the show on the road. She listened to Voland carefully but did not have any questions, so she waited patiently for any others to give theirs.

Noting the shopkeep was free Saly walked up casually to Tunk the leather doing little to hinder her movement before calmly addressing him in a polite tone. "How much for a greatsword or some armour stronger than this leather i'm wearing? each not in total." she clarified quickly. She crossed her arms over her chest. her fingers gently drumming along the light tanned skin of her her biceps as she awaited his response.

"Huh, he says! Um, he says! Filler words. The surest sign of a low I.Q. And here I was, hoping there was some hope for you. Remember that you are a human being, with a divine soul, mind, and the gift of articulate speech!" Nelk cocked his head at hearing this, he didn't quite understand this individual's obsession with others' cognitive ability. "But, I suppose you can't be that bad. You said you were smarter than most, eh? Have you studied any subjects?" As soon as Nelk heard this he instinctively said, "A few"; Not wanting to reveal anything more considering that most of what he has studied is illegal. Hearing the old veteran calling upon the recruits, Nelk bowed before Ral, not wanting to seem rude, but using this as an excuse to get away from him, avoiding questions that could hinder him.

Shopkeeper looked at fae before her with mild suprise. She watched, with a curious look as the elfin female gathered clothes from nearby rafters and brought it to her. Red headed shopkeeper quickly calculated the items total value before turning back to Kal. "Well, i would say 10 silver but for you lets make it 5. After all i don't trade with a fae everyday." she replied.

Tunk turned back and took a look at his stocks, He had a couple of greatswords, and some chainmail armour along with some mail shirts. Eager to service another customer, he took out a couple of greatswords, one in standard imperial pattern, other with serrated edge,(may inflict bleeding, lower durability). He then picked a mail shirt in Salyandra's size before putting it onto counter along with swords. "1 shiny ellow bitz for each sword, and nother ellow bitz for chain mail(1 gold for one sword, another gold for mail shirt.)" Tunk stated.

Meanwhile Voland looked suprised as no one asked a question. He shared confused look along with Aven. Mervin just shrugged while Borealis remained impassive. "Well, since none of you have any questions, which is a suprise forme. i would say we are good to go. We are only missing few recruits here but i am sure Vaughan would find them soon it's good time to start our this expedition. We will be travelling on foot since wagon is filled up with suplies but fortunately our target is close. I believe we can reach it by dawn if we move out now so that's what we will do. So get ready to move on people." Voland said, after taking a brief moment to gather his wits. Mervin and Aven went to wagon to preapre it while Borealis and Voland started discussing something between themselves. Soon wagon was ready to move, with Mervin at drivers seat.

Salyandra raised a brow. but muttering. "Maybe after we've earned some gold from this trip then then it seems." She grumbled under her breath annoyed making her way over to Voland and the wagon ready to set out.

Kal looked at the woman, that was a bit rude she was sure of that, had Kal done something for this woman to never want to trade with fae again, maybe it was that time she'd talked to the bathing man as a butterfly maybe it had caught up on her and now people everywhere were looking for butterflies while they bath. But nobody had mentioned much instead she sighed and handed 1 gold coin to the shop keeper, "There you go miss, Thank you." Kal waited for her change and once she took it she began to strip off her dress, in the shop not really caring who was about, she then put on the leather breaches and vest, and laced up her new leather boots. Then putting her cloak on she pulled the hood up and walked out the shop, she crossed towards where she'd heard the call for everyone to be summoned. Her face lit up perhaps the veteran would talk to her he nicely let her through to sign up quickly enough, yup the veteran he's the one to see what was his name again Voland.

Kelborn waited for the crowd to thin out a little before walking. He headed toward the edge of the caravan giving the humans plenty of room, he assumed the Gnoll, Rava, was still following behind him. Out of the corner of his eye he spotted something red, turning to see what it was he spotted a human female returning to the caravan. She wore a sword at her hip and leather armor which marked her as a warrior of some sort. The red had been her hair, he tried not to stare at the color for too long and turned back looking to see if anyone needed help with the wagons.

Krovan let out a loud war-cry as the caravan started moving. "I think I'm going to follow the group on foot, you know get the legs moving. Gotta stay fit for the dead cities so ol Krovan can give whatever hides in there the business. Nice riding you, Rilanni, may we defeat all of our enemies on the battlefield." He slid off the side of her before mingling with the group, singing an ork battle-tune.

Coming along to join the moving Caravan Kal heard the Orc battle song being sung, and with a glint in her eyes she moved to the source then taking a deep breath, she harmonized with the Orc battle song, except she was singing a Fae festival song. Skipping in her new leather gear and hood up, she twirled every so often in a child like dance. As she sang the Orc's lyrics hitting the peak of a battle and her's about a summer dance, she spotted the centaur during all this her eyes sparkling with wonder at the half human/half horse, she stopped singing abruptly and started tugging on the Half Orcs clothes, for a bit before asking, "Does she come with a saddle?"

A loud laughter escaped Voland upon hearing thati along with supressed gigles from Mervin and Aven though they were silenced by Borealis who took a sigh and reminded them they had to get going. Voland, trying his best stop from laughing finnally gave order to march out, after looking at the group behind for something, or someone.

With everyone gathered, it didn't take too long for group to leave the Virn behind. Voland led the way, only one with a horse, he was followed by Borealisi who looked thoughtfull. Mervin followed them, busy with fending of Aven who was pestering her to let him ride on the wagon, which Mervin declined, irritated by elfs constant whinning. Recruits were following wagon, though they were spared the worst of Aven's whinnings. Most of the journey passed away like this as group made their way through the forests and hills between Volandis and Virn. It rather uneventfull though it also allowed them to make some good distance. Thanks to their good speed group arrived at outskirts of Volandis by sunset.

Recruits first sight of the giant dead city was an impressive one. The group slowly exited forest, walking out from the canopy of trees. A dirth path snaked downwards through a slope. Sun was setting from the east (my world, my rules), already partially disappeared behind the hills and to their north stood Volandis with all its golden majesty. City itself was nothing like those of a mortal.Built not only horizontally but also vertically with many layer built on one another. Buildings were not only built on top of layer plates but also under them like stalacites, brigdes and walkways connecting them with each and other buildings below them. And sprawled beneath the city walls were...

Tent, hundres of tents, divided into many groups with many different banners and insignias. There were offical expeditions funded by either Empire, Elven kingdoms or one of the merchants lord of Confedaracy along with many warbands or freelancers. It was a miracle that it hand't been turned into warzone considering the diversity of races inhabiting it, though confedaracy soldiers tasked with keeping peace outside the wall also helped as recruits could see from the armed squads patrolling through the paths between tents.

It was safe to say, things were getting interesting...

Krovan sang louder as a small child joined in. She didn't have the words down but the rhythm was there, and the effort was good enough for him. She definitely wasn't a human child, she just didn't give off that vibe. Maybe she was of elvish descent but Krovan was far too polite to ask about someone's background, especially since his wasn't that glamorous either. But she did see pretty carefree for someone so small that was on her way to the infamous dead city and that was admirable or maybe really stupid. The girl followed him through most of the song up to the point when the Ork king clashes with the Human invader before breaking off with a question about Rilanni. The way she just asked the question made him burst out laughing at the ridiculousness of it, maybe she was just a normal child with naivety. "I think putting a saddle on a centaur is a good way to get your face kicked in, little girl. They have as much humanity as any other race. That'd be like you putting a saddle on me or on a human and riding them around, you just don't do that. Now that I answered a question for you why don't you answer one for me? What are you doing on this trip? You seem pretty young to be going on an expedition to the dead city, especially since there will be plenty of bloodshed if things go well."
He let out a small whistle of amazement at the dead city. It was ominous and chilling yet carried an air of superiority and knowledge. Krovan couldn't wait to enter inside but first he had to go through a tent city. That was just asking for trouble and tempers always flared when large groups of soldiers got together.

Kal listened to the half orc fascinated by his strange concern for her she assumed he'd never seen a Fae but it was interesting none the less, "You mean I can't put a saddle on you or the other humans? Oh well..." There was a mischievous twinkle in her eyes as she watched the Centaur for a little more before the dead city came into view. She squealed I delight at all the tents, she'd never seen this many at once she took a step in front of the orc then blinked and appeared in the middle of a group of tents she looked around fascinated at the many humans and other races, she turned and with another stepped she blinked again and appeared next to the half orc. "Look, Look, lots of them in those portable homes, such fascinated creatures all of them doing such strange things... Do you think they'll mind if I question them on their way of life?" Kal had completely forgot to introduce herself to the half orc and was already assuming he was her friend it wasn't the first time she'd done this, but last time she was chased out of town for befriending the children. The humans had thought she was going to kidnap their kids, that was wrong she never kidnapped, she did invite them to play at her home but after a week or two she would of guided them back. She looked at the Half Orc expectantly like he would know the answers to all her questions.
She eventually remembered the Half-Orcs question, and smiled broadly showing her sharp little teeth, "Don't worry ser, I'll be safe people have a hard time as it is catching me, plus I don't look all that dangerous... Even if I am Fae, Mr?..." She was stumped, she'd assumed they already knew each other and here was the main problem she couldn't place a name to the Half-Orc, Kal raised a open palm and started counting fingers off as though she was trying to remember something. Her eyes widened in realisation,"Erm... I'm Kal ser, is it's good to meet you Mistah?"

Sal let out a low whistle at the sight of the city her eyes scanning all their competition in this expedition. "If one side discovers something big; This places look fit to turn into a bloodbath. Unless you think these people are willing to take loss with good graces." She comments with a mix of jest and warning ringing her hands together as she speaks. Turning to their employers' "Where we setting up camp?" rubbing the back of her neck anxiously to be done with the travel.
