Hmm, Sonic and Krystal...
...too much blue.
On topic now, I think the models have turned out amazing and I am looking forward to seeing a little animation (even just some color would be really nice). I think the head shape on the air suit Krystal looks a bit better though.
I'll just leave this here..

Yep. More costumes. And some simple shading... Katsu pretty much covered it really well on the model already anyhow, though. Got some hands to do, left.
Left - Slave outfit (heh, anyone notice what it is?)
Middle - Sharpclaw female/completion(?) outfit
Right - Shading
It's good practice on the same model over and over. Yay funsies. Note that these sketches are really just for the outfits, and not revamping the model itself.

cant decide which one is better and i believe the slave outfit is from star wars. the headpiece does look nice and fits in with the sharpclaw outfit and i wonder if ur going to do something sepcial for the tail but i dont care because i know it will look great

Hmm, I think we should make it a true slave leia outfit but save that one for later. the middle one is closer towards what i was thinking of for a slave outfit, just make it look like she's wearing torn up rags and remove the accessories (headpiece, gloves and boots) she has to earn the right to wear nice things.

Quick question. Why is she stand with her heal off the ground. It looks so unnatural unless she is wearing high heals.

I was guessing it was for that reason. It annoys me but not much you can do. Keep up the work i guess.

BlueLight, you can navigate over to the Metroid pages where there's dozens of pages devoted to a traced drawing where they have the same pose hand done a thousand times over in different colors, shades, etc.. it's a weird gimpy half fist with a backbent wrist that makes no sense, however ppl ignore it. I'm sure you'll be ignoring it soon.

Uh, I have a concern. None of you are taking into consideration (or don't seem to be) the fact that krystal is a wolf/fox, and therefore has digitigrade paws. Look at this reference, it will make the feet seem much more natural.

First off, she's a fox, there never should have been a doubt in your mind about her species.
Second of all even Rare didn't design her with digitigrade paws.

Rare might have not designed her with digitigrade paws, but that doesn't mean that people should assume that fox based furries can't have digitigrade paws regardless of their base. I was remarking because it's surprising to me that no-one took into account that she might have been made with digitigrade feet because foxes are like that.

We're basing Krystal off how Rare made her, not off feral foxes. No one took into account that she might have digitigrade feet because we all know she has human shaped feet.
More hands, Base costume

This will be the base costume Krystal wakes up with. Also, Katsu needed these hands to finalize the model.
At the sharpclaw bedroom, the sharpclaw female will say something along the lines of 'This is all I had to scrounge up, I hope you don't mind bedsheets...it's either that or you COULD walk around nude... I suppose."
When she meets scales, if she chooses the aggressive/assertive option of responding, he'll pretty much tell her the same thing. "Rags suit you, or I suppose you could just walk around naked, at least then everyone will know what you are to us!"
But Krystal will always have her pride.
EDIT: Oh. And why the hell are you talking about digitigrade paws and making a big fuss out of it? Your comment about them is irrelevant, and not even constructive to the topic. Please cease because it is pointless. (yes I am saying this several days later)

The default rags costume is perfect.

From rags to riches. I wonder, will she have to find her old suit then? she could earn her clothing back, then find something in one of her pockets that could help her along the way.
If the suits do have pockets, that is. I suppose they'd need somewhere to put their laser guns in.

Just posting this, because it's currently getting worked on. It's not final, we're tweaking it still.
But it should be up shortly, and as soon as it has solid linework in flash I'll have his costume ready.
Also. bonus?

Your fox looks really short, i'm counting about 5 heads tall I think. Try reducing the size of the head and extending the legs. Oh yeah and the hands aren't the same size.

heh. Trunks, I believe I will troll you. If I may direct you to this picture:
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/a/a1/Refsz0.jpg, you will see that Nintendo designed Fox to be around 3 1/2 heads tall (by my count). In this case, Malcanthet is using Nintendo's model for Fox. Because of this, (and because I like this model), I wouldn't call for immediate and irreversible revision of the model. I would still support seeing what can be done with a tall Fox, but this short Fox seems to work well, and I would be in support of this character if he doesn't look good when tall.
