Because it sounded as good as any other name.

No long speeches from me, this is where all posts regarding the efforts of me, katsu, ronpeper, and ebonizza will be going, feel free to apply and offer to help you can (especially coders). We're still waiting on an answer from 3y if he's gonna help us or not. Enjoy your stay and look forward to periodic updates.

I'd help, but aside from designing the game itself, I'm not exactly of much use as you already have a writer, and my artistic abilities don't really translate into digital form all too well. :P

Just wondering, what program are you using for the coding? I'll take a look at it and see if I can work it out. I've done a little bit of coding before and I want to help out if I can.

We use adobe flash, and what we need is someone who is good at actionscript 3.0. Personaly i dont think we need someone that knows as3, i know enough about as2 to code this.

I was somewhat learning AS3, but I got unmotivated. I just use the Code Snippet panel in CS5. It's pretty basic but it'll get some things done.

@Lord Panzi We do appreciate help with that but if something is going to be done its going to be done using flash if its not backgrounds. So i think ron pepper may appraciate some help.

@Kryger if you know as3 good then it would be very good if you would like to teach me some but i still think that i would be able to do more stuff with as2.

I don't know it good, I just know the benefits. You can do more with AS3 than AS2, but not if you don't know it well xD that and it's supposedly faster. Gimme a week or so and I could learn some.

I'm on a computer games programming course at the moment, but i've been learning C++, not Flash.

However, I have a deep understanding of programming itself, and I have Flash, so if I can learn some AS3, perhaps I could be of some use? :geek:

EDIT: Actually, looking at it, it's just C++ with some differences, shouldn't be too hard to learn

Its great to hear that you could learn but i dont think i am going to be able to learn it and i am the one that is probebly going to code this so i think it would be best if we forget about as3 but if you would like to code everything then i think you should do that but i still think it wouldent be needed and im the only one on the team that knows good how to work in flash so for the moment i am the one that is going to put everything together so it would be a big problem if i cant code it.

Ah, so you're programming it in AS2 at the moment?

I can edit pictures, but not .swf. I'll be around to bounce ideas off of you guys (I'll try not to be annoying about it, though).

Hello, I saw how for the new game you wanted to incorporate a few games. Here's a slider game I made in about 2 hours.
It has no artwork, automatic scramble, or way to win. I still have to add that. It'll be done by the end of this weekend.
I used CS4, but AS2.

It wouldn't accept the fla file. I don't know why. If someone could tell me that'd be great.

i have no idea what mini games we plan to include or what we'll use, but we'll hang onto this for now, i'm thinking there will be a 'golden casino' type of area in one of the worlds where we can bundle a lot of minigames that have more promise. I'd also like to have a video strip poker game. the kind where you win money and as you win money you spend it on stripping down the girl. I imagine the ultimate reward would be new unlockable outfits or maybe an unlockable character, not sure on the details yet, again this is something in the future and not in the next release.

I recently made a slider puzzle game in Javascript, and you've made the same mistake I made in your handling of legal moves. For example, if the blank space is in position 3 and you click 4, it will swap when it shouldn't. Same for the blank in position 6 and the player clicks 7. Just a heads-up.
