I know i know... but this was just only a experement and theres no samus in that one so why make it easy.

In the game it will be easyer.

Let me know what areas you want from super metroid and I will try and rip them, however I cannot gaurantee quality this time because this netbook has issues compared to my old laptop. Also I will need to see if I can get an old paint program.

I dont know what the areas is called but i would like something that looks like in my game and you dont have to worry to much about the quality because i will trace it to get the flash look of it in the end.

A little about damage - i think to make something like it is in LoK now with mess levels. Armour will change only if hard damage or something like that i think.

If lose armour it have to be a something like game over - but i want to avoid it :mrgreen: and make some thing like Save system to play with current point even after close the game.

I do not know how now - for example after fatal strike samus Space Ship comes to help her or something else.

I forgot to write my question :lol:

How to exchange one object to another with out shift in animation ? :mrgreen:

I try use standart metod - but it shifts =( may be there are some cheats to make it ? :mrgreen:

It would be great if there was checkpoint areas and when you die you can chose between start in the ship or at a unlocked checkpoint. If you chose to spawn in the ship you will be able to heal your self to max but if you chose a checkpoint you only start whit like 50% hp or something but you can also walk back to the ship and heal your self when ever you want.

What do you think?

When I originally made a plan for the game as if I were to program it I came up with three possibilities:
-Super Metroid Style Save Station
-Super Metroid Health Station/Missle Station
-Samus Ship.

Originally the save station was not for saving. It would just unlock a masturbation scene, in your game this could also work as in when you walk by it you see this scene, but it also doubles as a super mario style checkpoint with the ribbons if you die.

Health station and missle stations were uses by putting the gun into a machine and it will refill them. You could use these too before boss areas, and in secret areas, with the secret area ones having additional unlockable scenes or equipment.

If you have the main ship take place in the game, you could allow it to do all three, refill health missles and save. However it would need to be in a central area as not to abuse or make the game too simple.

Also on a different note, I got free time this weekend for the first time in forever, so expect some sprite rips for your project. I will do it in layers, in tiles. This way if you want different scrolling (example in the original games the background scrolled at a higher ration then the middle ground, and the middle ground more than the foreground to give the illusion of room depth.

I think that im going to make the ship land somewhere inside instead of in the midle of anywhere so i would like a room that looks like a landing zone or something like that and also if there is a inside ship view i would be realy happy.

It will be very good. I think may be it wll be possible to call Spase ship any time but restart level than - or start from save point if you get secret item. Than ship can be something like a little house with comand room/bad/bath/kitchen/etc. And put Liru there like virtual pet :lol:

I will think about it - i have to save some data like Player x and y on save point / Walls data etc. it will take some time.

Now i have to somehow exchange animation parts to standart components without shifting in animation - it is very hard for me i am not good in animation :mrgreen: i can even say i am very bad in it :lol: So some big time i will try to exchange parts i have to body parts that was used by Corta. (I like how he made it - but i think i will remove AS2 code and make it on AS3 like procedure from main layer).

It is a problem now that i have 10 same elements of legs / arms etc with diferent names and structure - it is very hard to use and it is not good :mrgreen: So it is time to make some cleaning :lol:

Is it normal now - or make all the Stage bigger ?

Thinking about explouding walls and platforms now (on hit) - i tryed to exchange animation by myself - it is better not to do it now :lol:

After fucking - all jump/attack will go down. I think some thing like that in future. After killing => up fire speed a little.

It is not hard for me to make algoritms - but animation and drawing for me is very hard. I try to change animation of like monster catch Samus from behind ... - after 7 hour i understand that i can do nothing :lol: :roll: All animation becomes shifting Image

When i try to exchange one element to another that Corta made - it becomes big Image - some elements changing normal - but some do not.

They change rotation / position etc. Image

So i hope he will soon return - i have some questions to him about animation :mrgreen:

Its a really good job, amazing.

I was thinking of adding a little difficulty in it:
Metroids can be killed in 1 shot while the space pirates in 2 or 3 shots.
They could speed up their walking speed when their at their last bar of life or something like that.

But still, you can keep it like that for now cause i'm more interested in the animation then in the action :D
